Re: Mid week Non-League 24th-25th November I have no idea how Macclesfield and Southport are both available at over 2/1. Both have been drifiting as well which makes little sense. Macclesfield unbeaten at home and Southport unbeaten under Brabin. Southport especially look way over priced and I would have them as favourites against Aldershot let alone 23/10.

Boreham having a sticky spell, but Weston are rubbish and without a manager at the moment and I wouldnt want to go anywhere near them despte the fact they had Saturday off.

Re: Mid week Non-League 24th-25th November 2 for me tonight are ... Slough Town at 6/5 (marathon) to beat Chippenham.Won 3 from last 4 so are in decent nick. Not long ago they won at Margate in the trophy. Not the best competition to use as a yardstick but it shows they are more than capable. Basingstoke v Bromley Draw at 13/5 (gen)- 'Stoke have not yet had a draw all season home or away. One must happen soon. They have lost their last 3 games after an excellent start so a point against high flyers Bromley would not be a bad one.

Re: Mid week Non-League 24th-25th November We should really see Both teams scoring in Bristol Rovers-Barnet game.Barnet seem like they are losing speed after being 12 points ahead.They have conceded at least once in their last 6 games in all competitions and some of those games were against much more weaker sides than Bristol Rovers.The home team sits 6th,being 1 game short and their home record is pretty decent so i fully expect them to score tonight.Although Barnet are not as hot as they were a several rounds ago,they still remain the best team in this league so it shouldn't be a problem for them to hit back.They have scored at least one in all of those 6 games which were mentioned above so nothing suggests BTTS-Yes won't be the case today.1.72 with bet365. 2:1

Looking at their recent form, Macclesfield have been good at home with a home record of 7-4-0 whilst sitting in 4th compared to Torquay in 10th, yet somehow Torquay are favourites for this match at 2.58 (betfair). Also, looking at the other games in the Conference tonight, there is between roughly £1000-£2000 matched in the match odds market on betfair, whereas the Macclesfield v Torquay match has £26,000! With £20,000 of that matched on Torquay.

Sometimes these things are dodgy, but I have seen gambles like this lose in non-league as well. My thinking is that as Macclesfield were favourites to go down and Torquay fancied for promotion that has helped lead to these prices.

Smurf is correct ! Football is played by humans and is a random game (like roulette) Humans can do anything at anytime and we cant predict exactly what will happen. In any season you go through ups and down swings. So smokvica if you are unable to handle them, then perhaps this activity is not for you ? It all depends what your P/L sheet is showing at the end of the season. Tonight i had 2 bets. One was called off and won was a draw after the team i backed were 2-0 at HT - i was not pleased they lost a 2-0 lead but that is how it goes sometimes.

I have been quite honest on here that I am in a pretty bad run of form, indeed I would say the worse since I started betting on non-league football. It hasn't been a totally barren spell and I have put some good bets up, but I have been very up and down. What I have an issue you is first of all I put two bets up for tonight and Macclesfield won at over 2/1 so a profit was made there and they weren't both losers as you point out. Also to say every bet I have put up is wrong is also incorrect. Indeed Barwell when they beat Grantham was when such bet that I am sure plenty got on after I pointed out Grantham had lost a load of players. I try to avoid odds on shots because you need a far higher percentage to make a profit and usually they aren't value. If I was having a bet on something that was odds on I would want it to be a very strong selection otherwise it just isn't worth it. BTTS odds are usually odds on and aren't really the type of bet I do although I do occasionally stray away from the normal home/draw/away markets. Finally Ships was fantastic and it is a great shame he isn't on this site anymore, but he chose to stop punting on non-league football so that was his decision. I have never claimed to be as good as him and too be honest I doubt I ever will be because he put so much time and effort into what he did that I doubt I will ever be able to that. My ante-post tips are in a decent position at the moment so hopefully they can help out come April and there is still plenty of time of the season left to turn things around on the match betting. As the two posts above have pointed out I will always put solid reasons why I am tipping up certain teams and that after that there is nothing you can do about what happens on the pitch itself as it is out of your hands. As long as you can say after the event that you are still happy with the bet you had win or lose then that counts for a lot as eventually if you keep getting the value you will win eventually.

Re: Mid week Non-League 24th-25th November I've Known Addpea when I was a member of another betting forum where he used to post his tips on Point to point racing and reading those tips one could easily recognize the quality and time put up. Most of the time they were value-for-money winners also. I had always followed him and know how much effort he pout in to find those value bets.. I'm new to this forum and this is my first post here but I'm glad that to have Addpea on here for the lower leagues' tip. Keep up the good work mate. cheers.

I always read addpea posts and agree with and understand his reasoning however watching Chester every week I also have my own opinions on teams we have played recentlyso I can make up my own mind too. The conf is a very unpredictable league Aldershot were easily worst team I have seen Chester play and since we beat them they have been on a great run. There no such thing as a guaranteed bet ..well apart from both teams to score when Chester play ha ha every week seems to come in ha ha keep up good work

Re: Mid week Non-League 24th-25th November Almost everyone experiences a bad period, such it is to gamble ! Last season I hit about 18 matches correctly in a row, with an average odds about 2.20 . And after I lost 10 times in a row . Keep up good working ! :)
