Haichan
Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August from what i have been told' date=' the 6 who got booted out etc have been entered into a $1500 freeroll (3 paid) and given 5 tourney tickets as compensation[/quote'] Al, Like kev the only thing I have been given is a ticket to the $1500 freeroll. No other tickets and haven't even got my buyin back. No explanation other than it was a misunderstanding. Been told we will not have the same problem next sunday. Will wait and see. Senshi
Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August The tournament on the upcoming Sunday is it a first place only, winner takes all deal? I'm sure magazine says Prize up top and rest from buy ins. Had a nightmare with Customer Services when I signed up on Saturday anticipating the security checks, filled it all out and then got told that Monday morning would be the earliest it would be sorted. Still awaiting that to be completed. So debating whether to try for that package or just to take money and lose it somewhere else :D

Haichan
Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August Reply from Tim at Pokerplayer. Definitely includes the buyins. Only comp given so far is the $1500 freeroll. Hi Kevan The prize for this Sunday is definitely the tournament package plus buy-ins – in the same way that last weekends tournament was $1,300 plus buy-ins The compensation offered by Intertops so far has been the freeroll ticket only – nothing else, but I can't comment on what other people have said Thanks Tim
repton3
Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August Are these jokers for real? Went through the rigmarole of sending all the documents they require and no heard anything back. Not sure they are that keen on paying money back out to customers... Here's the conversation I've been having with their live support: Kim: Thank you for the update. The verification of the documents take 24-48 hours to be completed. You would be receiving an update after the completion. Kim: We kindly suggest that you check your junk mail, as it could have been forwarded to your junk. you: There's nothing in my junk mail you: 46.5 hours have passed since I sent the email you: so I must wait 1.5 hours more? Kim: Please understand that documents are verified in the order received. you: I understand that you: I'm just asking do you realistically think that waiting the extra 1.5 hours will make a difference, since you just quoted 24-48 hours you: ? Kim: I do see that you are contacting us from the UK. Please also understand that time difference between our location and yours plays a major part. you: of course you: but a time window of 24-48 hours is not dependant on a timezone you: if it is going to be longer, can you please just tell me. If it is going to be another 24 hours then fine, but please just tell me Kim: Yes, time frame is dependent on the time zone as your are five hours a head of our location. you: OK so I emailed at 8:20pm on 18/8 (my time) which is 3:20pm 18/8 your time. It is now 7pm 20/8 my time, 2pm 20/8 your time. I still sent the email almost 47 hours ago no matter what the time was
DaMatrix
Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August Pretty lame. I've had an account on intertops for years and never really had a problem. Don't like their cake software or website though.
Haichan
Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August Live chat is completly useless. Still waiting to an answer from Sunday when they said it would take up to 48 hours. its a strange setup as the casino part is licensed by the Mowhawk casino in Canada but the poker site is licensed in Curacao in the Caribbean which is where i assume their call centre is. I have been to Curacao where it is really is manjana`. "Hey man, where were you? It's noon and we had an appointment at 9 o'clock sharp! Manjana, manjana! This is the carribbean man..." I've told them to go f**k themselves.

luckboxnemo
Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August I think it depends on how you deposit I may be wrong here I use neteller and never have problems for deposits and cashouts and others use skrill like a online payment wallet so I means you don need be giving out your card details to every site ,, just so happens if you use debit or credit cards they may be for security

repton3
Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August I had to fill out the form, and the only way I could do it was by printing it out, writing on it and scanning back in. I have actually been verified now anyway. Had to sign up to Skrill to attempt to withdraw my money, so would have been a lot easier to have signed up for them beforehand and deposited that way too I think. Haichan
Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August This must be the worst pokersite ever. Still not got my buy in back for last sundays fiasco when they threw some of us out of the pokerplayer tourny after 10 minutes. Now I have just played a small bounty tournament. 0nly $1.0+0.10 buy in. Won $2.51 in prize and bounties. They took the correct buyin from my account but have only paid me £0.60 after converting from $ to £. Should be closer to £1.51. I cannot understand why Pokerplayer Mag are promoting this site

Bart(UK)
Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August karma;) Not sure where you're coming from with this and previous comments. Maybe it's just an attempt at humour I don't know because in all fairness you've not been around long for people to get to know you. PuntersLounge.com is all about friendship, helping each other and sharing experiences and expertise. I'm sure you are here for those reasons too and we welcome the chance to get to know you better. Let's just try to ensure all chat is friendly and cannot be misread or interrupted in another way. Thanks.

Senshi
Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August I've had nothing but a nightmare from this site. I put my money in, then couldn't use it. The finally sorted my account yesterday. (started sign up on Saturday), went to withdraw my money albeit not alot mainly to just play these tournaments. Now, I have to wait upto 48 hrs (Business days) for money to be processed so I am looking at next week some time by time, I can get my money out. Haichan
Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August Well I have finally got my buy in back for the Pokerplayer 1 game. But bizzare they say I never played the game even though the site Hand History shows my 10 hands played before there software through me out. Must have been my Ghost playing. probably get better results if I could use Ghost play. "We certainly do appreciate you taking the time out to contact us regarding the difficulties experienced with tournament id 15944198. Kindly note, we were unable to locate a registration for you in this tournament. We can however confirm that you did register for tournament id 15944197. Unfortunately, we see no evidence of your participation but a debit of $4.40 for the buy-in for the tournament. Please be advised that your account has been refunded $4.40 as we could not find any hands which would be an indicator that you played. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused to you."
teaulc
Re: Pokerplayer Mag Intertops Games 17th / 24th August looks like the buy ins have NOT been generated in the prize pool and is a winner takes all
