  1. I think I'd be shoving all day long. I wouldn't say villain is never folding here. It might only be a small % chance he folds but he still could. I've seen it happen before. There must be some % chance it's some kind of misclick/mistype and he's accidentally bet too much, and also some % chance he's just a bad player with some weird logic and tries the large raise as a steal then folds his bad hand to a raise. This combined with the EV figures above where you're often +EV and only sometimes slightly -EV means I couldn't see any other option. Plus I'm a fish
  2. Happy New Year! Hope for big wins all round this year. Good Luck!
  3. Turned the $109 ticket into a final phase ticket, which I'm playing tonight. ...oops ran 2pr into trips. Pretty much misplayed it. On to the next one!
  4. I managed to pass some of the mission criteria without even seemingly having to do anything... (I've noticed this in a few PP missions, the counting seems to be off), for example there's no way I won 7 sit n go hero games after starting the missions. Anyway good value promo. Managed to turn the free tickets into $25 in cash plus a $109 ticket from the carribbean party one.
  5. Looking forward to a decent shot at the package in Manchester. 2 in 9 not a bad chance!
  6. ^^^ I played the $11 Progressive Knockout from 6:30pm last Thurs, lasted the whole of day 1, finishing at about 4:30am Friday. Restarted at 6pm Friday, played for another 3+1/2 hours, and finally busted about 9:30 or so in around 330th place. I won a total of $35 for all that effort, wish I'd noticed the half hour blind levels before registering!
  7. Congratulations! Great effort. I came in 6th, couldn't quite get over the line
  8. Good luck tonight - bit weird this I know, but I had a dream last night that you won exactly $27090 and I read about it on the forum (I remembered the number as it contains my birthday), so hope for your sake it was an omen
  9. So how did you all get on? Everyone still too hung over to see? Sorry I didn't make it, I've spent the whole weekend coordinating with workmen who haven't yet completed installing my new kitchen and boiler, and inbetween writing a best man's speech and trying on suits for a wedding next weekend. Hopefully get there next time.
  10. WP Andy, nice result! I lost my final ticket on Sun 20th, finishing 3rd for €10 after a spirit crushing loss to a rivered ace with KK vs A2 aipf when we were 3 way. Going to try again when I can muster up the will, but would love to try get there too.
  11. I bust out about 160th, had to go for it with a decentish pair to try get some chips, no complaints lost to a better hand. Good luck all!
  12. It's something you can do every day, more practically than you could go to a casino every day. Put it this way, my wife doesn't mind me spending a couple of hours a few evenings during the week sitting n the sofa on my laptop, but I think she'd soon kick up a fuss if I disappeared to the casino 4 nights a week ;)
  13. It's under the Specials tab and doesn't appear under the freerolls tab even though it's a freeroll which I found a little bit confusing! Anyway I'm in, good luck folks.
