CowsOnTilt
Re: another massive overlay on unibet tonight at 6pm Im about 250 up so far thanks to the overlays, really hate the multi-buyins though, but I guess they need to minimise the overlays while they get started,
Haichan
Re: another massive overlay on unibet tonight at 6pm no wonder there is overlay. Software is crap. can hardly play the site is so slow.
CowsOnTilt
Re: another massive overlay on unibet tonight at 6pm yep it's awful at the moment, hands take ages to play out and is often non-responsive, but it's no worse then most networks ;) and I will happily play it with the current ovrlays. Just busted the 5k in about 9th place (7 paid) fml
Haichan
Re: another massive overlay on unibet tonight at 6pm much worse than any other network. The time lag is terrible. hands almost folded before site responds to my clicks. But yes overlay is good. still in $1000. only 109 entries
Haichan
Re: another massive overlay on unibet tonight at 6pm Well that was a joke. I bubbled the tourny having been thrown out of the site twice and having to wait 5 minutes for my table to reload. For the last hour I would have to click bet buttons 5 or 6 times before the site would respond. Several times I bet and it checked or on one occasion folded. Impossible to play on software like that. How they can launch it before its working properly.
LIKE2FISH
Re: another massive overlay on unibet tonight at 6pm Hey guys what network is Unibet on now? Last time I used it, it was on MPN which is a fine network IMO as SJ is MPN.
Haichan
Re: another massive overlay on unibet tonight at 6pm Now Unibets software is their own. Developed by relax gaming from Estonia. According to Unibets blurb last month its designed for casual gamers. So casual you have to wait 5 minutes to play a hand. You would thing the executives at Unibet would have tried it before launching it.
CowsOnTilt
Re: another massive overlay on unibet tonight at 6pm There is a thread on twoplustwo with a support rep replying to posts, might be worth dropping support an email, they may refund your buyin if you had connections problems, worth a shot :-D
avongirl
Re: another massive overlay on unibet tonight at 6pm I only played on the old software there last week, but not had any email about the change.

DaMatrix
Re: another massive overlay on unibet tonight at 6pm The new Unibet Poker software is much worse than I thought it would be...
Haichan
Re: another massive overlay on unibet tonight at 6pm Well a prompt response from Unibet and a refund of my buyin. However with it a bizzare comment "Because you were playing on another poker site at the same time, This made have made matters worse. Unlike practically every poker software, this one uses hardware acceleration for graphics which means that it will eat really large part of CPU on "office" style computers that don't have modern accelerated graphics card but will run very smoothly on "gaming" computers. Running multiple software is probably not helping at the moment" The comments even more bizzare as i had already told them I have a high end pc with an up to date radeon graphics card and plenty of ram. So unless you have a PC that can run "Call of Duty" or other such games without skipping a beat, your clearly wasting your time playing on Unibet as they clearly don't want the average pokerplayers business. CowsOnTilt
Re: another massive overlay on unibet tonight at 6pm That might be why the graphic card in my computer goes absolutely mental when playing unibet. They really aren't making it enticing to keep players on when the overlays stop.
NoFear
Re: another massive overlay on unibet tonight at 6pm the overlays are not even +EV for me as I multi-task and lose out on other earnings when running unibet software as nothing else will run at the same time as this. Haichan
Re: another massive overlay on unibet tonight at 6pm This is an update on another forum about the Unibet software changes. I will not play on Unibet anymore. Even after the update its almost impossilble to play tournaments. Yes there's massive overlays but the time lags on betting make effective play extremely hard plus even on my machine which is very up to date and much faster than the minimum specs required, you can only play if you have no other software running. Plus there attitude is unbelievable claiming its my PC that has the problem even through there are lots of complaints about the software on different forums. "The network problems are a very high priority because we plan to migrate everyone in the next couple of days. This is the kind of thing that we can fix without updating the client, and we have been doing so for the last few days. The computer speed problems are going to be next on the list after that. A lot of people are experiencing lag and thinking it's a network thing, but often I think it's a CPU thing instead. The (very conservative) system requirements are 2gb+ RAM, 1.8ghz+ CPU and a directx9 compatible graphics card. It's possible that by enabling Flash graphics acceleration a lot of people will see improvements (right click on a flash application in your browser, settings, enable acceleration). It may also help to have the latest version of Adobe Flash and the latest Adobe Air installed. This is one of the things that the coders will be looking into in the next few days. I realise that those requirements are going to rule quite a few players out. We were always going to be more CPU intensive than a lot of our rivals, but hopefully we can reduce the gap a bit in the coming weeks." CowsOnTilt
Re: another massive overlay on unibet tonight at 6pm Stone bubbled the last 3 tournaments in a row, usually I wouldn't mind as it's part of the game, just seems to much more painful enduring the software and missing out on a mincash worth 20x your buyin :rollin
