Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Jan 27-29 Weather permitting... Boreham Wood at home to Farnborough (23/20 Marathon, BetVics) The initial 5/4 has gone for tonight's game, but I'm happy to oppose Farnborough, who still seem some way from a settled and coherent side. Wood have been pretty poor at home but decent showings against Dorchester and Dover offer some encouragement. Farnborough - who may get a striker in today - are lacking in firepower at the moment and they may not be able to exploit Wood's defensive weaknesses. St Neots Town away at Chippenham Town (9/5 10Bet) It's a while since I bagged St Neots at 6/1 at Banbury but that kick-started an excellent run of two defeats in nine. Saturday brought a first win in nine for Mark Collier's Chippenham and they are playing better than their abject showings in the autumn. But I can't make them such big favourites and the price about the buoyant visitors is a decent one. St Albans City -1 away at Burnham (11/10 Marathon) St Albans are finding some decent form at the right time and Burnham are there for the taking at the moment. It was a very young side that faced Bash on Saturday with just two on the bench. The club are making positive noises about paying off the departed players, so there may be some returning and it may be a stronger starting XI against St Albans, but a lot of bridges have been burned and I'd expected it to be a similarly inexperienced, if spirited, side that they put out on Tuesday. Kingstonian away at Bury Town (4/3 Marathon) BetVics' initial 11/8 has gone, but this mark is decent enough. Bury managed three on the bench at Wealdstone, but their job gets harder with Russell Short leaving after the game. Their long run unbeaten came to an end against a decent Wealdstone side but they were always going to struggle to keep it together with a small squad supplement by younger players. Kingstonian's keep-it-tight style isn't always great to watch away from home but they have plenty of strength in forward areas and they are a decent price to get a smash-and-grab win against a side that must be struggling with knocks and tired legs and didn't perform very well against a poor Grays last time out at home. Eastleigh away at Bromley (11/4 Marathon) My own numbers have this match much closer than the compilers. Eastleigh haven't been in top gear, but they have been accumulating points nicely, and look decently set for the run-in, with daytime training sessions for most of the squad and a reasonable bench. Bromley deserve huge credit for what they have achieved, but they have wobbled a touch at home. I've opposed them at home in the last three with some success - Ebbsfleet matched them in a 0-0, Concord won there at 13/2, and Hayes lost on Saturday - a 6/1 shot but Bromley couldn't have complained if Hayes had got something. If the match goes ahead, it'll be on a heavy pitch and Eastleigh have the personnel to cope with that. They should be much closer in the betting.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Jan 27-29 after watching hednesford outplay a disappointing Solihull side on Saturday minus their two best players Elliot durrell and jamey osbourne i fancy Worcester to beat them(Solihull) at a juicy price,Solihull are on a shocking run conceding shedloads, their main man omar bogle was missing on Saturday as well. gary birch their striker is the most overweight player I have ever seen! and he still scored!!

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Jan 27-29

north ferriby are still the team to beat in the north and I will be taking them and guiseley who have been on fire recently to beat gainsborough and barrow respectively ln a nicely priced double at over 4-1
Don't forget Barrow have been on fire as well and that is far from a gimme for Guiseley.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Jan 27-29 One spread for me: a sell of Macclesfield Town's 2nd goal at 80 with Sporting. There's an inspection at 10.30 at Braintree tomorrow and - given what the forecast might bring - it'll probably be off. But Braintree are bigger favourites than I can make them - they've played 90 minutes of football in 2014 and will surely be out of touch. Macc, who can be offensive away from home, have a chance to catch them cold, so it could make up nicely. Any more than a light shower, though, and the game will be off.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Jan 27-29 Another tough set of fixtures in my view and my one bet is a double on St Albans and Kingstonian which pays around 5/2 at current odds. Ships has outlined the reasons for both above and I have no more to add.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Jan 27-29 I'm with Addpea - I can't pick a bet in the RPL. These are tough fixtures. We did have very heavy overnight rain in these parts during the night with more forecast from this afternoon onwards and I'd be surprised if any RPL fixtures actually take place, as the majority of the home sides boast the poorest playing surfaces in the division.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Jan 27-29 I'm interested to be ON the following: Barrow v Guiseley --------------------- Burnham v St. Albans Chipp v St. Neots :hope It's better to wait info, I remember Guiseley previous match at home, all pitch inspections passed - I said to myself: "Great!" , put 100 eu on them just to see: "Following extremely heavy rainfall between 1.30pm – 2.00pm this afternoon, today’s game against Stalybridge Celtic has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. Having passed an earlier pitch inspection without any problems, the game was due to go ahead, but the sheer volume of water so close to kick off has forced the match official to deem the surface unplayable."

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Jan 27-29

If you can get to a self service terminal in a bookies then you can get more markets on the st Albans game. I am on the-1 at 5/4 and -2 at 16/5. Also done 4/5/6-0 I did mine in a betfred. Sent from my GT-I8190N using PL Forum
Look's like a good call addpea, I backed you here. Does anyone know were I can find minute per minute reports, or livescore for the St Alban's game?
