MPLouis
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 9-11 Conference North Bradford PA v Guiseley Monday 9th Dec 19.45 I like the look of Guiseley tonight at current odds. They are in better form than Bradford, and have a good record at Bradford's ground (3 wins and a draw in the last 3 visits). I've found head to head records tend to count a bit more in local derbies. Guiseley DNB 2.2 William Hill

bromsgrovegreen
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 9-11 I am liking oxford city to beat Workington at 8-11,might be better prices, haven't looked yet,i also might try minus 1 inrunning, I saw Workington about a month ago and although they played some nice football on the floor they seemed very lightweight all over the park and powderpuff up top and once they went behind they lost heart imo. its a long midweek trip when confidence is short and oxford are improving, the only doubt is that oxford have only had a short rest after playing and beating Worcester on sunday
bromsgrovegreen
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 9-11 another improving team are gainsboro,i will be taking them at nearly 2-1 against brackley on the assumption that brackley will be tired and flat after their fa cup exertions at Macclesfield on saturday

Shipsupstreets
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 9-11 Not much for me this session but I couldn't resist a sell of Gateshead's second at Lincoln City tonight - 80 with Sporting Index. The Dartford game apart, Gateshead have been healthy scorers away from home, though as the Oxford game proved they are lacking a clinical finisher. They'll be up against a Lincoln side who generally keep things tight but that solidity has been undermined on a couple of occasions recently and they'll be relying heavily on loanee Chris Sharp to hold things up tonight, with Ben Tomlinson out for another week. It's quite hard to see Lincoln scoring too many - take out the three got against Hyde and in the five home league games against more solid opposition they've only managed two goals - so the mini-performance is also a sell at 20 with Spreadex and Sporting. allthethings
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 9-11 Taken over 2.5 in the Grimsby-Welling match @ 1.84 (5dimes). Weather's good, don't know team news...but Welling have had a go at every top team save Barnet. They're 8-2 O/U on away this season and Grimsby are high scorers who in Skrill play have often conceded on the way to 2-1 and 3-1 wins. Woodgate
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 9-11 For me goals look very likely i Woking-Kidderminster. Woking have been really impressive since they got Mariott. Kidderminsters games have had lots of goals lately. I surely see a game where both teams will score at least once, who will get the odd goal is the question.
TheAnswer87
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 9-11 Cambridge Utd -0.75 A.H. @ -105 at home to Macclesfield Town; Cambridge looking to bounce back after an undeserved 2-0 loss at home to League 1 side Sheffield Utd. Cambridge passed the ball very well at times and had 4 decent shouts for hand-balls inside the box - at least 2 of the 4 should of been given so I'm hoping and expecting that the Cambridge players will be pissed and come out fired up tonight! Macclesfield meanwhile scraped through by beating my local team Brackley 3-2 but they made very hard work of it by dropping a 2-0 lead and then having to scrape a winner in final 10 mins. If they defend like they did in that second half against Brackley then I can only see Cambridge winning comfortably. Grimsby -0.5 @ -111 at home to Welling Utd; Grimsby are on the other spectrum to Cambridge as they saw off League 2 side Northampton 2-0 at home in the FA Cup at the weekend so confidence is going to be very high. However, this could also lead to complacency and a potential "hang-over" like performance - or as the English saying goes... "After the Lord Mayor's Show"! But with experienced players like Doig, Kerr, and Disley I don't expect complacency to be an issue. Woking/Kidderminster Over 2.75 goals @ -110; Woking DNB @ +146 at home to Kidderminster... The game is being billed by each club as one of the potentially most exciting matches of the season in the Conference based on last season's games where both finished 2-2. Both Managers like to play attacking football and both have strikers in form with Woking's Rendell (13 apps, 6 goals) and Marriot (4 apps, 6 goals); and Kidderminster's Lolley (15 apps, 6 goals), Gash (17 apps, 5 goals), and Malbon (19 apps, 5 goals). Games involving Woking average 2.9 goals per game, and Kidderminster 3 goals per game (6th and 7th highest in league). I also think there is small potential of the home side getting the upset win as Kidderminster will be without two important midfielders in Storer (18 apps, 5 goals), and Fowler (20 apps). They also have 3 other midfielders who face late fitness tests n Dance (11 apps, 3 goals), Gittings (13 apps , 2 goals) and Tolley (1 app). Additionally, defender Dunkley (12 apps, 2 goals) make also not be fit enough to start, and striker Byrne (13 apps, 1 goal) is injured. So with those issues in midfield, I think Woking have a decent chance of controlling the game as they have some solid experienced midfielders in 33 year old former Brentford and Luton midfielder Adam Newton (18 apps); former Yeovil midfielder Gavin Williams (16 apps, 5 goals) who is also 33 and was playing in League 1 last season; 35 year old Kevin Betsy (21 apps, 4 goals) who has played at League 1 and Championship level throughout his career with teams like Fulham, Barnsley, Wycombe, Bristol City, Southend, and Oldham; and former 29 year old midfielder Anthony McNamee who played for Watford, Norwich, and Swindon. They have also just re-signed Kieran Murtagh on loan from Macclesfield who is a useful player to add more depth to their midfield.

Darran
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 9-11 Not too much from me but agree with BG that Oxford look a bet on the handicap. They are being backed as if they have already won so the price has come in but I think the 13/10 on the -1 is a price worth taking. Workington have lost their last two 3-0 and have to come a long way on a Tuesday night which won't help at all. Oxford are picking up of late and hopefully they can ease to 3 points. They are worth doing in a treble with North Ferriby and Hemel Hempstead. To be fair to Leamington they have won their last three but Ferriby could go top again tonight and played really well against current top team Solihull on Saturday. Hemel are 1/4 to beat Bedford which is a fair reflection of their chances tonight.
Darran
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 9-11 The other bet I am having is Chelmsford in the Skrill South. They have won both games since the new management team came in and face Maidenhead who as I mentioned at the weekend have not won in ages. At 2/1 Chelmsford offer pretty good value in my opinion. I was tempted to tip my team Gloucester up tonight after we surprisingly beat Hednesford 5-1 on Saturday. If we repeated that then we are a massive price, but I am just not certain we will so will hold fire. Hednesford's defending was pretty bad on Saturday and I was tempted by Harrogate as well tonight, but Hednesford's home record is superb and I can't help think that it may be a blip so again will leave it. Darran
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 9-11 Altrincham have only named 4 subs tonight so I am going to risk a small bet on Gloucester. Darran
Glad I risked Gloucester and should have backed Harrogate as well. Hednesford really defending poorly at the moment. Fair play to Workington though who got a point after that long trip and without a manager. Sent from my GT-I8190N using PL Forum
Shipsupstreets
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 9-11 Decent enough on the spreads - Gateshead's 2nd didn't materialise for a 10pt loss, but the Lincoln mini-performance made up 0 for a 20 point return - happy to be north of the line again. Good calls by theanswer on Woking and Cambridge on the Asians, and by addpea on Gloucester.

Jase82
Ashton V Nantwich (0) @ 1.95 - bet365. Over 10 corners (AH) @ 1.80 - bet365. Ashton concede goals at an alarming rate and the market is clearly expecting goals here but I don't like the odds for this sort of affair on a cold midweek night in non league football. Because of Ashton's love of conceding goals I think there will be plenty of goal mouth action and subsequently a fair amount of corners with a bit of pushing as both sides struggle to hit three goals. Backing Nantwich as both sides are on a level ball and they're priced highest. Because of Ashton's poor defensive record Nantwich should be able to nick in and get on the score sheet. 1-0 Nantwich wouldn't surprise me.
Corner bet won but got the final score round the wrong way :lol
