Re: Serie A > October 29th - 31st There could be few more goals this round - Viola, Livorno, Genoa all look to me overish. Sampdoria double chance is tempting, sooner or later Verona will not win at home and they are not playing that well at all. Last game in Verona they were outplayed by Parma but somehow they won. OK, someone could say they fight and these comebacks are a positive thing, but I am not satisfied with them and at some point they won't score more than the shaky defense receives. It looks to me more as a draw, but wouldn't be surprised with Sampa win.

It was a good win for Samp at the weekend but they were very nervy in the first half, perhaps because they were playing at home and were expected to win. Delio Rossi must be given maximum kudos at half time because he made a brave substitution and Samp were much better in the second half, getting the goal in their best spell of the game which always helps. Can Hellas win yet another game at home? depends on the opposition and situation, Samp have had a couple of key wins but they are still a young side and so we cannot expect consistency from them. I would say a draw is the most likely outcome for this game but Samp will need all their marbles if they are to take something from the contest. It's a play that's right on the margins for me so I will wait for the convocati of both teams before deciding.

Re: Serie A > October 29th - 31st Atalanta V Inter Milan Inter Milan -0.25 @ 4/5 (Ladbrokes) > 2 Units Nothing too technical about this bet, I just feel Inter exceed Atalanta in nearly every department at the momment. Inter have had a few blips recently against the likes of Cagliari, Roma and Torino but the outcomes of those games were a little skewed imo. I still feel Inter are a very strong team this year and they will be looking to take all 3pts from this encounter with Atalanta. Atalanta still missing Bonaventura through injury and that is somewhat problematic for a side that struggles to create at the best of times. Both Bellini and Nica are also out for the Inter game which leaves Colantuono with a massive headache for who to select at right-back. Nagatomo and Jonathan have been deadly in the wing-back positions for Inter so far this campaign so whoever comes in at full-back for Atalanta is facing problems in this game. I mentioned at the weekend that Atalanta do not have a big squad and a quick succession of games from Sunday to Tuesday is not what the doctor ordered. What are the risk elements for this game? Despite their problems Atalanta are not to be underestimated, they are tough to beat on their own patch while also decent in transition. Inter will be going all out for 3pts here so they must retain maximum concentration to protect themselves from Atalanta's countering ability. Milito is injured, Belfodil is suspended and Icardi is not 100% fit so Inter do not have a lot of forward options from the bench if they need to change things during the game. Despite all this I feel Inter will be just to strong for Atalanta in what should be a hard fought contest. The best Atalanta can hope for in this game is a draw so Inter on the -0.25 line looks appealing to me, Ladbrokes currently have the standout price of 4/5 but anything from 1.75 and above is workable imo. People could wait for the Inter price to get bigger in-play but you always run the risk of an early away goal in that situation.

Re: Serie A > October 29th - 31st Roma v Chievo I'll take this one early - although in truth I'm probably joining the party a bit late - Roma's good start has been well documented, 9 games and 1 goal conceded is an astounding record, it won't continue much longer but I'll certainly have a piece of Chievo not to score at 1.91 with hills, when it comes to an end I expect it to be against a better side than this lot. You can get Roma to win to nil as high as 2.05 with betvic, I could have taken Roma to win to nil at 1.95 with hills but would rather have the 0-0 covered for the sake of .04. I'm not an expert on Italian football by any stretch but Roma have won all their home games so far to nil, whilst Chievo have lost all 4 away games, scoring 1 goal in the process. I know Roma were missing Totti and Gervinho at the weekend which is two of their regular attacking three, assume Totti will still be out, unsure on Gervino, this is another reason I've taken a bit of 0-0 cover. Coral go as high as 2.15 for them to win to nil. Chievo to Score - No - 1.91 - hills - 5 Points Watched Napoli on Sunday and thought they looked pretty knackered at times against an obviously limited Torino side, both goals came from penalties (one 50/50, the other very debatable), didn't think Napoli showed much to be honest. Looked pretty organised defensively, and I know they had a couple of defenders missing, but looked a bit lethargic through midfield and I wonder if the 3 games a week they are playing is starting to catch up with them a bit, don't know enough about Fiorentina to have a play on them but DNB at 1.9 they might be worth a play. Rossi has obviously been knocking them in for fun and their results have been pretty good lately.

Re: Serie A > October 29th - 31st Genoa vs Parma looks like a game with goals. Genoa are not so bad as the results are showing, in fact they played against the best Italy teams so far - Inter, Fiorentina, away at Udinese, Napoli and Juventus. I don't think they will have some big problems scoring 1 or maybe 2 goals against Parma, which is one of the most overish side this season, they score a lot and receive a lot - 3:1 Udinese, 1:3 Roma, 4:3 Atalanta, 2:2 Fiorentina, 3:1 Sassuolo, 3:2 Hellas Verona, 3:2 Milan. The fact that both teams are playing with 3 defenders contributes for the open game and the high-score result. History is also on the "goals" side as 7 of their last 8 meetings covered the BTTS (5from them were OVERS), at Genoa's ground 4 from their last 5 games were BTTS (3 were OVERS). So, I still haven't decided which one to pick BTTS or OVER 2.25, what are your thoughts guys?

For me Genoa have a squad that consists of quite solid players, decent defenders and defensive midfielders but lacking creativity. Having said that Genoa will be targeting all 3pts for this game V Parma and so may play more open but it's hard to say how they will setup as the Gasperini era has not been running long. Parma are very poor at defending set-pieces this campaign which is an area where Genoa can definately get at them with all the ariel players they have. If there was a bet along the lines of 'Genoa to score from a set-piece situation' then I would probably go for that for the Parma game. I don't play unders/overs so I can't really give much advice, I know nearly every Parma game seems to have goals at the momment but whether that will continue here I don't know. Maybe we will get a clearer idea tommorow when we have all the team news, same for the other Wednesday games.

Re: Serie A > October 29th - 31st Good Evening all 'been a while since lurking on PL, without even daring to post any suggestion on my favorite italian serie A market, in spite of some nice outcomes i get from time to time. However, having a glimpse @ this thread, i could not hold to....finally type my first words in this great community trying to give something back, in order to balance (someway) all the tips recieved so far. Being a huge FC Internazionale fan and Atalanta's decrator (the latter due to the historical sports hate between them and the city where i was born), i guess i'm too involved to make a fair prediction w/o any sort of conditioning, and indeed i should pass. By the way, although the clear and reliable Das Phantom analysis i just felt to point out an, hopefully, interesting data about this match. Atalanta, especially at Stadio Azzurri which is they stronghold to avoid relegation, is a renown "bete-noir" for FC internazionale; last game FC inter took an AW was indeed in late 2008.They couldn't get 3 points even in 2010 when they won the title, the league cup and the CL. If you look deep into last Serie A results i think statistic speak itself : Amazing Home score for Atalanta; if we didn't know the two teams, probably we would not put a unit on AW. dom 07/04/13 SEA Inter 3 - 4 Atalanta dom 11/11/12 SEA Atalanta 3 - 2 Inter dom 18/03/12 SEA Inter 0 - 0 Atalanta mer 26/10/11 SEA Atalanta 1 - 1 Inter sab 24/04/10 SEA Inter 3 - 1 Atalanta dom 13/12/09 SEA Atalanta 1 - 1 Inter dom 31/05/09 SEA Inter 4 - 3 Atalanta dom 18/01/09 SEA Atalanta 3 - 1 Inter dom 06/04/08 SEA Atalanta 0 - 2 Inter sab 24/11/07 SEA Inter 2 - 1 Atalanta dom 20/05/07 SEA Atalanta 1 - 1 Inter sab 23/12/06 SEA Inter 2 - 1 Atalanta mer 02/02/05 SEA Inter 1 - 0 Atalanta Feeling "unreliable" a debacle by FC Inter i can say that: Inter is playing well but catching less than deserved, got a couple of occurencies against cagliari and torino (both away from G. Meazza in S.Siro) and i think here we are paying the new coach, the new module 3-5-2, some retirements, society issues and the new young bookings. This is Anno Domini and sometime..S**T could happen.. Said so and considering that in last 6 matches away against Atalanta 3 ended with an 1-1 tie, i'll wait the latest news before placing 1-1 as correct score @6.00 on Paddypower Italy which gives 100% cashback if inter loses. Otherwise, I reckon building a Inter DNB would be a good bet if valuable with the odds on yours markets.

Re: Serie A > October 29th - 31st Lazio have one of the worst away record . scoring 4 conceding 10 this season . On the other hand, Milan haven really show how strong they are at home. The man at goal(Gabriel) is lacking experience and have been leaking easily. Wouldn't take lazio on +1 though. Likely bet BTTS 1.83 Could also lean forward to Over 2.5 1.80 as 78% of milan game and 67% of lazio game this season have gone over 2.5 .

Re: Serie A > October 29th - 31st hello I'm on Atalanta +0.5 1.86 pinnacle this morning.... Dea will be without Bonaventura and Samuel most probably can play with Inter team, but I think that the milano team without Campagnaro is quite poor in defense . Re: Serie A > October 29th - 31st I wouldn't touch Milan - Lazio, that game is like ticking bomb. Both coaches are under pressure to win this game. As I read lazio coach Petkovic must win next two games or he can start packing his bags. Rumors say Berlusconi is not satisfied with Milan results and that he also said next two games for Milan are must win games or Alegri should start looking for another job. Galiani said that Alegri is save for now but I'm not so sure if Milan continue to play like they play lately. Milan defence is joke. Now Silvestre is injured again nothing new for AC Milan so defenders will be Zapata and Zaccardo. Mexes is suspended. De Sciglio is back that is only good news for Milan. But with Zaccardo let me say it's better to put me in that game just not Zaccardo, he is that bad. Balotelli is playing like primadona and I think it he continue to act like this on and off the field Milan will sold him this summer. Kaka may start from the first minute which is good for us(I'm Milan fan). Probably line up for Milan will be Gabriel; Abate, Zaccardo, Zapata, De Sciglio; Montolivo, De Jong, Muntari; Birsa, Balotelli, Kakà Very important game for both teams, but I don't trust them. Alegri always manage to come with win when he is under pressure but it can't go that way forever. All in all there are better games for profit so I'll stay away from this one

An angry Milan fan has put Massimiliano Allegri on eBay for €1. “For sale: Coach without ideas or character.” The unusual step was taken by an irritated Rossoneri supporter who wrote up a detailed product description. “For sale: Coach Allegri without ideas or character. We offer you a pointless Coach who doesn’t know how to train, can’t motivate players and only makes absurd substitutions at the 70th minute. “He is specialised only in games against Barcelona. If you pay immediately, you’ll receive Mauro Tassotti for free. “It’s a real deal!!!! We will not be held responsible for errors in manufacture.” :lol:rollin

lazio have not beaten ac Milan in 23 years or something like that and on their current form you wouldn't back them even on the handicap. too many injuries for them and looks like a clear home win for me

Hahaha funny thing man. But I will not be so hard on Alegri. Yes I agree that he make moves that only he and God can understand. Now I see he try to loan Vergara in the winter but I'm 100% sure that Vergara is better player than Zaccardo even with one leg. Alegri was doing good job last 3 years. Previous year we didn't have quality for 3rd place but somehow he motivated players for great performance after january. This year I agree he lost his compass. 12 mil. for that shit Matri??? And he must play him now because he would look like fool. Now all of the sudden Niang can't even see the pitch. Also I can't understand how Muntari can play in first team and Poli ti be on the bench. Don't get me wrong I want to see Alegri out of Milan as much as everyone else, but Seedorf and Inzaghi, Belusconi favorite "coaches" I don't think they can bring anything good for our team. Prandelli is another story. For me Berlusconi should sold the team. I do some research and last 2 years Berlo didn't spent even 1 euro on Milan. Club is working by himself and Galiani is always here to remind us how great was Berlo in last 25 years. But we can't live from the past

I agree about Matri bullshit, we should have bought defenders but still they are talking about Honda transfer :lol Poli can be more creative but I think Muntari is the right choice, with Poli our midfield is way too soft. I hate Galliani, but we own too many things to Berlusconi, without him we wouldn't have won tons of trophies in Europe. I want Capello back! :)

Re: Serie A > October 29th - 31st One of the key matches of Round 10 of Serie A. There are two great teams , going through its best times. The financial crisis has affected all corners of human life, including football, especially football, and especially in southern Europe. Because of financial problems in the past year, the owner of Milan Silvio Berlusconi was forced to sell the best players of the team, leaders, the super-stars of European football Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva. But life does not stop, there were other artists , young, ambitious... After the sale of the leaders, many analysts predicted the decline of Milan giants , but nothing happened. Yes , some have lost its positions , moved a little in the shade , have opened the way to the championship to Juventus , still the team is fighting for the Scudetto (at least positioning itself) , looks good on the international stage. There is a lack of experience and a good coach. Massimiliano Allegri's certainly a good technician, but not for Milan. A weak start to the season has been branded a modern chip Milan. Then the team catches up , it's enough to fight for the 3rd place, out in the Champions League, but for the full fight for the championship is not enough. This systematic errors in the pre-season , which is responsible the head coach. And again a new season and the same swing at the start of the season. Lagging behind the championship leader Roma already 16 points, and it's clear that the fight for the Scudetto - is unrealistic , maximum 3rd place. Composition now also not the strongest in Italy, but this is due to the economy about which I wrote above. Injured: Pazzini , Bonera , El Shaarawy , Nocerino , Silvestre Disqualified: Mexes Milan does not work, and it's not bad luck , but the result of the terrible loss of players. I will not go into details, stating only that the main problem of Milan - defense. Problems with the defense - Milan conceded 16 goals in 9 meetings. The reasons - in personnel losses. Milan have serious problems in defense - on Monday during a training session was injured defender Silvestre replacing the basis of the suspended Mexes. In the next two games wont be able to help , neither one nor the other. Bonera in the hospital for a long time , so that the choice is, in fact , have no choice Massimiliano Allegri - along with Zapata 's central defense debuts 31 -year old Zakkardo , before playing on the wing. The whole season injured De Sciglio, also main goalkeeper Abbiati , it took place in the gate an inexperienced young brazilian Gabriel. I saw Zakkardo playing for Milan - full sadness this Zapata brings in every game. An inexperienced goalkeeper , for the first time playing together couple of centrals, one of which plays regularly, and the other of which has rarely, Abate on the right , the only more or less safe zone , and the left - a guy who failed the start of the season Constant. Plus midfield constantly fails, and standards - team never learned to defend. In addition, the romans have someone to score - there Klose, who will punish you for any mistake, Candreva and Hernanes. Balotelli is healthy, finally broke the goalless series Matri , woke up Robinho, Kaka is gaining shape , plus AC Milan in the previous round was not given a very clear penalty against Parma, and judges can return the favor. Milan won the last game against Lazio in March of this year, although this could not beat the capital team six games in a row (= 4-2) ; Milan has not lost to Lazio at home 23 matches in a row. Last time Lazio beat AC Milan at San Siro in September 1989 (1-0) ; Milan lost only one of the last 16 games at home (+13=2) ; Over the last five away matches in the championship Lazio scored only one point and received goal in each of the last six away games ; Lazio striker Miroslav Klose made his debut in Serie A and scored his first goal at the San Siro in a game against AC Milan in September 2011 ; Kaka scored 5 goals in 10 Serie A appearances against Lazio My prediction AC Milan - Lazio, an yellow card before 27th minute (1.83 Bet365) - the match will be tense, both teams arent passing great moments and the referee Damato is 3-1 this season showing a card in the mentioned interval. As for the outcome... 1X2

Re: Serie A > October 29th - 31st

Mr. ADP, regarding your great knowledge about Italian soccer, do you have any prediction for tonight? Thanks in advance.
Thank you for your nice words. :) I've taken Fiorentina vs Napoli Over 2.5 goals, it's a six pointer, I think both of these teams will not be happy with a draw since they are in the title race. Very important winger Cuadrado and Aquilani have passed the late fitness test and will play against Napoli. Fiorentina have been impressive so far, but their defense is their weakest part. Both teams should find goals. Cagliari -0.5 , They have a very good team and will be playing against one of the worst teams of Serie A that is a good chance to stop their winless streak. Bologna have a much weaker squad than the last season and in this match Diamanti - whos their best player- is suspended. Milan -0.5 Milan are different when they play in San Siro, Lazio have been disastrous on the road. Milan have defensive problems, that's true but Lazio are in a worse situation than Milan defensively as they are going to miss their three of four defenders. Konko, Dias, Biava. Also defensive midfielder Biglia. Hernanes and Klose are way too effective but Milan might limit Hernanes on the midfield with De Jong and Muntari. Also I liked Udinese away win or asian -0.25 and Over 2.5 in Genoa - Parma games, odds are just too high. (sorry no explanation here, really have short time) Good luck.

Re: Serie A > October 29th - 31st Thank you nelle Fiorentina -0.25 Fiorentina: Neto; Roncaglia, Savic, Compper, Pasqual; Borja Valero, Pizarro,Aquilani; Cuadrado, Joaquin, Rossi Napoli: Reina; Maggio, Albiol, Fernandez, Mesto; Inler, Behrami; Callejon,Pandev, Mertens; Higuain Napoli will rest Insigne, Hamsik and Armero. I think Mesto will have his worst night in his career against Cuadrado :lol Milan: Gabriel; Abate, Zaccardo, Zapata, De Sciglio; Montolivo, De Jong, Muntari; Birsa, Balotelli, Kaka Lazio: Marchetti; Cavanda, Ciani, Cana, Radu; Gonzalez, Ledesma, Hernanes; Candreva, Klose, Perea Gabriel, Zaccardo, Zapata oh.. and of course Birsa instead of Niang or Robinho ! Allegri logic. Milan will concede but still should be able to win this one. I've taken O 2.5 too in Milan game.

Re: Serie A > October 29th - 31st

Come on man' date=' Allegri lost the title even with an enormous squad, having Zlatan, Thiago Silva, Pato etc. He didn't want Pirlo in Milan and we lost him for free transfer to Juventus, what a joke! :)[/quote'] We had a injury crisis then, Silva was injured late in the season. Pirlo said that he wanted to leave Milan we wasn't happy, he tried to leave Milan way before so that man is dead to me. With Poli way too soft hmmm we have De Jong like destructive player, Muntari is also destructive player. Which team still play with 2 destructive players in the midfield?? Why do you hate Galliani?? He does excellent job with money club have. He is not owner. Imagine if he has 100 mil for new players. Yes Berlusconi is the most trophy president in history of football but like I said last 2 seasons not even 1 euro for Milan. He doesn't show much love for Milan

Re: Serie A > October 29th - 31st ROMA vs CHIEVO About this game can safely say that it refers to a series of confrontation between David and Goliath. If the roman club currently leads the standings at the top , then Chievo are at the opposite pole , taking the last place, 20th. Roma under pressure. Rudi Garcia's team won 9 matches out of 9 , while conceding only one goal and that is the best start "wolves" had in its history. If the romans would win vs Chievo , it will set an absolute record of the championship. Because until now in Italy yet , no team has never won the opening 10. Now we are experiencing a new milestone in the history of Italian football. Over the last couple of seasons roman team accustomed to all to its hilarious team in terms of results - could beat the leader, and then lose the underdog. The wolves constantly sacrificed a lot , but the defense had huge problems , for example, last season ended with the best attack in the league , along with Juventus , scoring 71 goals , but also missed 56 goals , the worst results were only three teams. This season is all changed , or rather, changed everything thanks to Rudy Garcia, who finally put the game on the defensive , and in the attacking power of the romans did not wind down. It's hard to think about the fact that the team with the defense , which was missing for 60 goals in a season , is currently the driest team in Europe , conceding just one goal in 9 games. Sunday's victory over Udinese on the road was very important , because that 66th minute wolves were playing with ten men , when for two yellow cards left field brazilian Maicon. After the removal Rudy Garcia players began to play even better , a confidence that is inherent in the team even from the beginning of the championship. Michael Bradley, appeared on the field in the 78th minute, almost the first touch of the capital's team designed the victory. Of course, this can be called a victory on the character , but I would also add that this is coaching victory. Rudy Garcia for the time that he was at the helm of Roma has become the face of the team that managed to pull hard all the problems and bring the team to a new level. It is difficult to say how long Roma will win, in any case , sooner or later , a crash might occurs. On a completely other end of the standings, placed Chievo. After 9 rounds in the asset of the team from Verona only 4 points. Their only victory in the 4th round , beating Udinese at home. Since then, the team lost five games in a row. Last defeat happened on Sunday in the home game with Fiorentina. Chievo scored first, but did not hold advantage , conceding 2 goals. As a consequence, lost 1-2 and went to the last place in the championship. There are problems with the composition. In Rome, will not help Chievo, disqualified Cesar. More losses for Roma. Because of injuries Rudy Garcia dcannot count on Mattia Destro , Francesco Totti and Gervinho. In addition, fo the match against Chievo disqualified Maicon. Roma - a favorite meeting. Last season, Chievo twice beat the romans with the same score of 1-0, and probably do not mind repeating it today. But still , the victory of Chievo will be something for science fiction. Chievo are unbeaten against Roma for three consecutive games without conceding a single goal ; Before the victory over Roma last season Chievo could not beat the team from the capital 17 games in a row ; In 11 games in Rome against Roma , Chievo scored only four goals , and never more than one per game ; Roma have repeated the Serie A record for most wins in a row at the start of the season, set by Juventus in the 2005/06 season (nine wins in a row) ; This season, Roma has scored 16 goals in the second half - the most in the Serie A. Chievo , however, scored just one goal after the break - least of all in Serie A ; Daniele De Rossi scored against Chievo four goals in Serie A appearances - more than anyone else ; Sergio Pelliser scored against Roma's four goals , but only one of the last nine matches against this team Pjanic (AS Roma) anytime goalscorer at 4.0 Bet365 I dont expect easy one for Roma, because the last year Chievo won twice with 1-0. At the end Roma win but not very open match because of injured players in the attacking line, 1-0 for Roma, victory and a new record will be inscribed in the history of the series A the number of victories since the beginning of the season. I take "the new" Juninho Pernambucano, as the bosnian Pjanic learned a lots from the brasilian when he was playing for Lyon. Mastering the skill of taking free-kicks...
