Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Sat 7th September Hi any reason whu books didn't pubblished odds on Leyton Orient v Notts County ? it seems like an HW looking the table even if i don't know real level of these two teams your help will be welcame! also Crewe - Peterborough seems good to take ok Peterborough lost last home game 0-2 but they are one of strongest teams of League, huge firepower while Crewe is performing very poor so AW at 1,95 need a shot! what do you think? thnx in advance for your help!

Coventry look the bet of the round to me. You can still get even money on them, which looks a complete steal. They've been playing probably some of the best football in the league, in an attempt to claw back the ten point deduction. They've certainly more than surpassed my expectations and should have beaten Shrewsbury last weekend. I believe Colchester are suffering a bit of a mini injury crisis at the minute, and while these things can be overplayed I still can't see them holding out against a ruthless and rampant Coventry side. No game for them midweek either, and don't play until Sunday.

Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Sat 7th September MK Dons v Swindon I think there's value on the MK Dons here. Bookies have priced Swindon due to their 5-0 thumping of Crewe and win in the league cup against QPR. But looking at the stats for their 2 League 1 away games so far shows they are just woeful away from home. No goals. Averaging just 8 shots on goal and 2 on target. MK Dons on the other hand are averaging 1.5 goals from 14.5 shots with 5 shots on target - and they should be scoring more with these amount of shots. I might go a little bit cautious due to only having stats on the 2 games so far: MK Dons DNB @ 1.7 with Betvictor Or if you're feeling confident: MK Dons @ 2.45 again with Betvictor Another thing to note is that Swindon are a bit card happy away from home (averaging 3.5) but can't find any markets for this

Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Sat 7th September This is a 5* free play on the game Coventry vs Colchester that will played on Sunday (4pm CET) at the Sixfields Stadium. Colchester will play at Coventry with a lot of question marks: at least four-five regular players will be out of the game for various reason: the forward Sears (2 goals this season), defender Wright, midfielder Wattand defender Okuonghae will certainly not take part into the game. Midfielder Dickson, Defender Wilson and midfielder Massey are all in doubt. Coventry occupy the last place of the table, but in reality the have the same points of Colchester. Infact, they had a 10 points deduction at the beginning of the season. We think that Coventry will take advantage of those key missings for Colchester. The home team has already scored 16 goals this season and Colchester will have a vulnerable defence. Bet on: Coventry at 1.90 WilliamHill ★★★★★

Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Sat 7th September 4pts MK Dons vs Swindon - Both teams to score 10/11 William Hill Both teams come into this match in good form so we should see both sides looking to attack. Swindon will be wanting to add to their five goals of last week while Milton Keynes have goals in them themselves. With both sides better going forward than they are defending I would expect to see both keepers tested and eventually both sides to score in what should be an open game to start the weekend. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Sat 7th September Bradford v Brentford I'd happily take Bradford here. So far they are a beast at home - with crowds of 15,000 to 20,000 for a league 1 game!! They are averaging 3 goals with a massive 10.5 shots on target and conceding none. The slight worry would be the absolute thumping they got from league 2 Hartlepool in midweek - but that didn't seem like their first choice team and it was away from home. I think Brentford will give them a good game and may score - although they are without striker Will Grigg and new signing Raphael Calvet because of international duty but will still have top scorer El Alagui. Because of this I think they will play one up top and pack the midfield but I think Bradford will be too strong for them. Bradford @ 2.8 with Coral As Bradford tend to come out all guns blazing - averaging 2 in the 1st half so I'm also going to go: 1st half over 1.5 @ 3.25 with Coral Also I'm going to have a small punt on correct score Bradford 3-1 @ 26.0 with Coral

Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Sat 7th September Good analysis there billy, but don't forget 4 of those goals came against a Carlisle side everyone is thrashing and Sheffield United are hardly setting the division alight either. The high scoring games in midweek throw another spanner in the works when it comes to trying to call this one. Then there is the 1-1 thing, last 3 Brentford aways have been 1-1, and the last 2 meetings at Bradford have ended 1-1 too. After conceding 8 goals between them in midweek, both managers would be forgiven for being slightly more defense minded and I'll be having a go on the 1-1 with a larger bet on the BTTS Good luck

Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Sat 7th September Going for a Bradford victory today as they have scored 10 goals in their opening 5 games and won both home games without conceding, and with Brentford having a few injuries to contend with i feel that Bradford should have too much for them Bradford @17/10 Whills Bradford DNB 10/11 (if you prefer)

Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Sat 7th September Rotherham v Sheff United @ 11/5 with Bet365 Should be a tight Yorkshire derby this one so not sure United should be longer odds than 2/1. I go on about him all the time but Baxter is a different level to this and is a great signing for United. I think with his skill and passing ability will improve United vastly and I'm quite happy to take them at 11/5 in this one

They couldn't hold a 3-0 lead at home against Bristol City (they won after blowing a late 4-3 lead), or a late 3-2 lead at home against Preston. Colchester held Gills and Sheff Utd to one goal between them, tied for best in the league so far...Colchester in fact have the third best defense thus far over all. Best of all as far as I'm concerned, Coventry appear to be becoming the public bet of the round after Peterborough (draw). By the way, big dogs to favorites of under 2.00 this season in League One are 4-9-16. One of those was Colchester drawing at Sheffield Utd as a dog of 4.43.

I see your point' date='but Coventry won 5:4 against Bristol city .ANyway i don't like the odds on HW so i will be all over the draw too.Gl and no offence[/quote'] None taken, that's why we're all here. There's a lot of power in that side obviously. I think the place I've gotten to with regard to betting, though, is that I think matchups in all games are crucial, and some games seem to take on their own crazy narrative. Coventry and Bristol could play a match tomorrow and it could finish 1-0, and then we'd have an entirely different take on each team's capabilities.

I was going to say that it looks like Coventry have solved their defensive issues, at least for the day...but actually it's more that Colchester haven't seen the ball at all. This is an old-fashioned ass-whupping. Nice call, Jase

Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Sat 7th September 4pts Preston vs Oldham - Both to score 17/20 Ladbrokes Given that they’ve only won one of five matches Preston look a little short to me at even money. I think we’ll see goals in this game. Both sides have found the net regularly but perhaps more importantly both sides have shipped a few this season already too. Two of Preston’s draws have been 4-4 and 2-2 while Oldham have 4-1 and 3-1 wins to their name so with both knowing where the onion bag is both to score looks good to me. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Sat 7th September ● England League 1 - Preston v Oldham Tip: Over 2.5 at 1.91 WilliamHill The coefficient for this event is quite high. Oldham is generally quite cheerful team, the truth is they have a problem - they play poorly when they built up against the strict defense, that's how they played against Tranmere and Walsall - teams that are weaker Oldham and away can win points only having stood at zero, and what else happened and scored. Today against Oldham closed will not play and the team will be able to fully demonstrate their attacking potential. Preston in the last round, got a taste of victory and now have at home, will try to consolidate this success. And generally sit in the defense playing at home is not in the style of this team. Total goals will break easily in this match.
