The passing game that made them famous has lost all its danger and has now turned into static possession that goes nowhere. They don't pull defenders out of position anymore or put on killer moves in the box like before and Bayern were very comfortable dealing with them in Munich with Martinez and Schweiny staying close to the back 4 to close the gap between the lines. This game is set up perfectly to see some more devastating Bayern counters as we saw in the 1st leg. And of course a Bayern goal at any stage would require 6 Barca goals. We saw how Bartra's inexperience was exploited by ruthless Germans but Barca could have scored aswell. Barca will throw caution to the wind as you really can't play a patient game when chasing 4 and this game should eventually degenerate into a goal fest the way I see it. Goodluck :hope

They know this and although the Camp Nou is and has been probably the toughest place to visit in world football for the last 5 years or so, this Bayern team are deadly almost everytime they enter the opposition half. Playing away from home hasn't looked like it's affected them at all, they score lots of goals and most importantly they've picked up a strong habit for winning. It's always hard to bet against Barca but this Bayern team are an absolute juggernaut and I can't see them not scoring against Barca's fragile looking defence. My tip would be to cover the draw and the bayern win. Double Chance, Bayern Munich and Draw @ 1.87 @ Ladbrokes.

During this match, Barcelona never seemed to have a chance. After Mueller'sheader in the 25^th minute, everything seemed to godownhill for them. Bayern took advantage of the situation by poundinggoal after goal. Barcelona was basically stunned, and it only gotworse. Atthe closing seconds of the match, Barcelona seemed to be praying forthe game to end. They look like they just wanted to get out ofBavaria and hopefully turn the tables around in Camp Nou stadium. Schwein, Martinez, Dante and Lahm are vital players they will want available for the final.

This is quite significant information in regards to how Bayern will approach this game. With these players on the parapet it would make absolute sense for Bayern to turn the gas down and play a much more sedate and controlled game than they did in Munich. This will certainly not be lost on Barca and when the opposition are slightly hindered in their abillity to mix it, expect the Catalans to wind it up ....Big time!

Couldn't agree more with you and probably couldn't of wrote these points better if I tried. The moment the 4 semi final spots were filled, instant thoughts were.. Barcelona are the weakest side left. And arguably it has been proven true. Barcelona came out and beat Milan 4-0. Overturned a deficit that no one had ever done before. But this time I feel, no matter how hard they try, they will just be nowhere near strong enough. The passing game you described perfectly, it's beginning to look like static possession, with no end product. No killer pass, no major threat. Controlling possession along the defence, from side to side, not harming anyone. The spark is missing, the runs, the team movement and bayern were very well prepared to deal with them and to be honest made them look bang average. It just looks like Barcelona can't wait till the seasons done and belief to pull this tie back isn't as high as it was with the game against Milan. I do feel however, a Barcelona away from home is a completely different side when at home. And I do feel Barcelona will win this second leg, but they will be nowhere near close to overturning the first leg result. They will do themselves some justice and put on a better performance than the first leg for their fans but at the end of the day will bow out without much of a scare to bayern. Bayern will come into this match just as well prepared as they did in the first match and will rely on their quick counter attacks and set pieces knowing one goal will be enough to knock the wind out of the Barcelona sails With Barcelona frailties in defence, especially attacking the wings and with set pieces, I've no doubt bayern will get their killer away goal.. Or possibly more depending on Barcelona's mind set. On current form, I can't see Barcelona scoring more than 3, and that would be with them playing well! Expect a result of 2-1, 3-1 Barcelona.. Even though Barca were thrashed by Bayern in the 1st leg they still managed to control possession although they failed to convert any chances. In this leg Barca know they need goals and lots of them which will leave them vulnerable to Bayern counter attacks. If Barca can score early this could end up in a few goals. They leave staggering amounts of space behind - elephants can play one twos through them - and they don't care because they are Barca and they will score more than you. But this rule doesn't apply when facing Bayern. Barca are accustomed to playing this way for a long time and can't re-learn a more balanced way of attacking in such a short space of time. But this might be something also, I don't know: All season we have seen from Bayern regular thrashings of teams in various games. I sometimes get the feeling that they are doing this because they have a stronger opponent coming up in the near future and are flexing their muscle as an intimidation factor. Now today they would have watched the other semi, saw Dortmund put under the pump and lose 2-0 to Real. What better way to deal a psychological blow than to storm into Camp Nou and cut Barca to pieces, then play Dortmund this weekend in the Bundesliga and consolidate that psychological edge by beating them also in preparation for the final. They would walk into the final having already put fear and doubt into the minds of Dortmund's players. So maybe we can look at this match as being more about Dortmund than Barcelona and from that perspective those considering the Bayern victory could be onto something. Of course working against this theory is the bookings of Schweinsteiger, Dante, Lahm and Martinez who are all key players in terms of not conceding and if they hold back in tackles then Barca can take advantage. If it weren't for this single fact, the price on Bayern + 0.5 looks good but for me I'm happy with goals for now.

They'll know what to do and they'll do it. Also, as some of the posters pointed out Barcas defence at the best of times is a disaster. Strip them of three frontliners AND force them into an all out attacking strategy and they seem ripe for picking! My picks I'm going to go with Bayern to win or draw at about evens on Paddy power although the over four goals is also very tempting.

(Barney's casino game) I am going for the anytime Messi bet @ 3/4 Betfair Messi is a one of a kind player and I think he struggled the first game mainly because of his injury, but also because Bayern were always tackling him and commiting fouls just to stop him before he strarted doing something close to the goal. As some have pointed out Bayern have key hanging players(Schweinsteinger, Lahm, Martinez, Mandzukic) that can miss the final and if they get a yellow in this game. These 4 players are really the hub of the team and Martinez and Schweinsteinger are the ones that stop every attack in its origin. So that's why I expect more space for Messi and his mates, and the odds for Messi anytime are just slightly lower than Barca winning, which is something I am not so sure of. Messi takes Barca's penalties and scored 90 something goals last season, oh yeah and he is aiming to be number one goalscorer in Champions League history in my opinion.

Just for the record, when Bayern beat Bayern 4-0, 3 of the goals were offside even though they dominated the game and you can't just bet blindly. Barca, even though they have shown sign of weakness, I do agree with you on this but when it matters most, they will usually pull out a result just like how they overturned a 0-2 loss to Milan in the first leg and won 4-0. I won't even be surprised if they beat Bayern today by 2-3 goals. Here are some stats for you to consider before you bet on Bayern: I think Barcelona will beat Bayern but Bayern would still go through.

I like this bet and I wanted to bet big on this but I just did a research on all of Barcelona home games and it's strange because they never seem to get more than 2 yellow cards at home! In fact, they rarely get booked at home so be careful of this. I'll still be going for a small bet on this
