Re: FC Barcelona v FC Bayern München > Wed 1st May After a lot of deliberation i have gone for over 2.5 goals @ 4/9. Either side could win on the night but the gung-ho way Barca are now forced to play should equate to a few goals you would imagine.

Re: FC Barcelona v FC Bayern München > Wed 1st May I Fancy Barcelona HT/FT 2/1 Corals People seem to think that because Barcelona will attack that they will get caught on the counter against Bayern. Personally Barcelona are a good team all around, they will win but not sure about the qualifying.

(Barney's casino game) I am going for the anytime Messi bet @ 3/4 Betfair Messi is a one of a kind player and I think he struggled the first game mainly because of his injury, but also because Bayern were always tackling him and commiting fouls just to stop him before he strarted doing something close to the goal. As some have pointed out Bayern have key hanging players(Schweinsteinger, Lahm, Martinez, Mandzukic) that can miss the final and if they get a yellow in this game. These 4 players are really the hub of the team and Martinez and Schweinsteinger are the ones that stop every attack in its origin. So that's why I expect more space for Messi and his mates, and the odds for Messi anytime are just slightly lower than Barca winning, which is something I am not so sure of. Messi takes Barca's penalties and scored 90 something goals last season, oh yeah and he is aiming to be number one goalscorer in Champions League history in my opinion.
Barca XI: Valdes; Alves, Bartra, Pique, Adriano; Xavi, Song, Iniesta; Pedro, Fabregas, Villa Messi is on the bench so I will go for the Bayern win here as well at 14/5 They will make Borussia **** their pants if they win this game as well and they were all over the place in the first game so looks like a fair bet to me. 22 year old Bartra in central defense can't match the attacking power of Bayern and Barca are really vulnerable on crosses and corners. P.s.: just 2 minutes after my bet the odds for Bayern were 12/5 and keep going down now 23/10 ;)

The germans too strong and they love to humiliate their opponents. If they will score first, they won't stop.

I feel sorry for all those who bet heavily on Barcelona. This is why I think over is definitely a much safer bet.

Under 2.5 goals 2.72 @ Betfair - I'll have to be quick with this. Under 2.5 looks a bit big at 7/4 @ Betfair. Bayern are very solid defensively and have no need to play attacking football having already got a 4-0 advantage. Correct Score: Barcelona 2-0 Bayern Munich 14/1 @ Betfair - I think Barca will win tonight despite Messi only being on the bench and I'm not too sure about BTTS here because Bayern do not have to attack with a 4-0 advantage already. Small stakes on Barca to win 2-0 at 14/1 for me.

Bayern gave them a lesson over the two legs. shame I was one answer away from winning the 33/1 'yes/no' coupon. For some reason I said there wont be 2 or more goals in the second half :(

Good idea - but how can you say this is the 'best bet' without looking at the odds? Best odds for Barca clean sheet NO are currently 1.3 with Youwin. Not sure if this is good value.

If the odds are against Dortmund and they don't get a whooping on the 4th I am definitely going to back them to win. Bayern made Barca look fools but Dortmund did the same to Bayern last year in a cup compo by beating them 5-2, so if the odds are good enough it's going to be worth covering yourself with a both to score and maybe under corners, but then sticking a bit on Dortmund to win - or maybe that and double chance either team... I wouldn't like to hazard a guess at who will win this one, two German teams, two rivals, one dusted Barca 7-0 on aggregate the other took down the harder of the two sides in my opinion by beating Real Madrid on agg.

Maybe not in every match but in few headlines should be all about goalkeeper. Balls have bounced on him dont make him a great goalkeeper. He just knows where to go but not know what to do then :) Anyway this match is another story , I shouldnt blame him but I never think him well deserved as Barca's goalkeeper. Maybe after those result my hate or anger has had evidence on him. I dunno. But 50-50 people give me some support about this. Congrats to bet winners and correct advisors

Barca:NO MORE SURPRISES! Itwas a shock to everyone that Barca lost as much as they did againstBayern. Everyone was expecting a close match-up given that these twoteams are one of the highest ratings in football. Before the gameeven started the was a media blitz about Lionel Messi being able torecover fast enough so that he could play. Apparently, he did playits just the fact the Bayern was overwhelmingly better than Barca. Itmight hurt some people, might even get violent reactions, but likethe saying goes, the truth always hurts. Bayerneagerly proved right away that they wanted to be the team to beat inthe Champions League. Having Thomas Muller score two goals andsetting up two others just shows how good and effective he can be.Under his leadership, they would really give a heavy pounding on anyteam they face off with. Bayern used their size advatange to dominatein the air on set pieces, at times simply bullying Barca intosubmission. Barcelonareally had hoped that they would get the extra boost from LionelMessi's return, who started after missing three La Liga games with ahamstring injury. But Messi proved to be powerless to Bayner'sblanketing defense and clearly not fit, was virtually invisible. Hewas allowed only one shot and saw little of the ball. During this match, Barcelona never seemed to have a chance. After Mueller'sheader in the 25th minute, everything seemed to godownhill for them. Bayern took advantage of the situation by poundinggoal after goal. Barcelona was basically stunned, and it only gotworse. Atthe closing seconds of the match, Barcelona seemed to be praying forthe game to end. They look like they just wanted to get out ofBavaria and hopefully turn the tables around in Camp Nou stadium. Itis safe to say that Barcelona will be playing for pride now since noteam has ever came back from a 0-4 loss deficit in the second leg ofthe Champions League. I don't think Barca will get a chance to redeem themselves after their embarassing 4-0 loss.
