Re: Diary on the $4.50 180 man sngs

The 9s hand is definitely a shove, all day every day of the week, the flatting advice is terrible, just get it in. Dont mind the shove with KJ, especially if the blinds are just about to go up, if the level has just started flat is ok. UL with AK, dont mind his call depending on how you had been playing
Agree with first, and just about with 2nd. but is calling a shove with a/6 ok?

Ashj22............. you play on pkr aswell?
No, but i was more interested in this, thought 88% was high, normally get that when you have had a good result and played only a few games
pkr where for the first 500 games i was a break even player now im 2400 games in with an avg stake of $4 and im up $4' date='000 in profit with [b']an 88% roi which i think is pretty good.
Your challenge very much reminds me of how i started out, playing 5hit loads of sngs as at the time i didnt know mtts existed, think my first 3.5k games were sngs, so looking at how you are doing i am sure you will do well good luck in this

But then it being a FT and depending on how he had been playing I may tighten his shoving range. I dunno if it's a +EV call, but i reckon it's close

Think I got the shoving light bit about 3 years before Harrington lifted a pen. Wrote a bit about the fact I was getting called far lighter by the day, but I have never really got to grips with it myself. I remember asking GaF to tell me the exact midpoint of all two card combinations but i don't think he got round to it. It is quite possible that my calling range is a massive leak in my game as it is 85% dependant on stack sizes and possible value of increased or decreased stack size after call.
