Re: BBOTD friday 15th february 1530 sandown 1pt win tominator 13/8 pp tried in a grade 2 last time out,and finished down the field after jumping poorly, something may have been amiss, will give the horse another chance as on debut it won very easily in this grade

Re: BBOTD friday 15th february 13:50 Sandown - Mountainous 4/1 (guide) 212 form since switching over to new trainer. Trainer holds respectable form and Mountainous has the ability to stay on providing he gets a good start. Not one for much of an impression in the final few, does well to build a lead and stay though.

Re: BBOTD friday 15th february 14.25 Sandown - She Ranks Me - Win @ 4\1 Bet365 BOG She Ranks Me already has won 2 listed novice hurdles with the latest at Haydock over the same distance as this race at Sandown. Heavy ground that day so will have no problems with the expected heavy ground again today. Was staying on well at the end that day and won easily so hopefully the long uphill finish here at Sandown will prove no problem. Her first listed win was at Newbury when winning on soft ground by a neck from Ma Filleule over a distance of 2m half a furlong. Ma Filleule has since won a Grade 2 mares hurdle at Warwick. Currently third favourite behind a Mullins and Henderson runner who while both highly regarded are worth opposing with this Mare who ticks all the boxes for me.

Re: BBOTD friday 15th february 5.30 WOLVES CINCINNATI KIT @ 9/2 Paddy Power BOG .5ew My money along with plenty of others was down on this last time but it ran a little free after 5 months off, coming wide off the bend and got going a little late. Should come on for last run and might be better suited going left handed. J Spencer is an eyecatching jockey booking 1/2 for stable this year and stable are flying with 4 winners from last 6 runners.

Re: BBOTD friday 15th february S1.50 George Nympton e/w 22/1 Stan James Hopefully there'll be no non runners in this 8 runner race because GN looks to have a decent shout at making the first 3 at a nice price. It won its penultimate start and the last run was a write off after is slipped so that can be ignored. I think the key here though could be the jockey booking of Timmy Murphy. If he can switch the horse off and gradually get into the race, then it could see out the trip and surprise some of the market leaders. Timmy also has a good record at Sandown and the trainer is in form. The price has been drifting all morning which is partly due to the favourite being hammered, but it's just too big a price to ignore in my opinion.

Re: BBOTD friday 15th february 225 Sandown: Utopie Des Bordes (Evens PP/BetVic) This looks a perfect opportunity for the Henderson horse to follow up her recent win at Doncaster. That was her first run in this country and did well considering the track and the trip wouldn't have been ideal that day but still won fairly comfortably from a useful yard stick in Call Me A Star. This trip and stiff track should play into her hands and will be very hard to beat. Mullins sends one over and the Irish have supported the Mares' series this season but have struggled to make an impact, Twigline is unexposed and could be anything but i'd be surprised if she is one of the top ones from this powerful stable as they tend to target the home prizes with their best. Anyway it holds up the price nicely if nothing else.

Re: BBOTD friday 15th february Sand 1.50 - Relax 1pts win (Evens, Corals) An impressive winner lto in December at Doncaster when scoring by 4 lengths to Do I For Dalkey he was eased before the finish so the margin could have been even more impressive and looked like a horse with more to come. He made that Doncaster race look rather easy when on paper it looked a good contest if he's in the same mood will be very hard to beat.

Re: BBOTD friday 15th february PU Last time out but was returning from a long break, more should be expected today in this handicap chase over the 2m 5f. He might be a 9yr old but he still has a very low mileage on the clock with only 8 runs - 2 wins, he won at today's course back on the 30th Jan 2011 in another handicap chase but that day he won over the 3m, today's trip should be no problem and thins look a hand picked race by trainer Mrs C. Bailey. Caroline only sends out the 2 runners and from those two id say this is her best chance of a winner, jockey A.Thornton makes the trip for this one sole ride of the day and knows the 9yr old very very well. 2:45 Fakenham - Three Cords. 0.5 E/W Bet @ 8/1 Sportingbet.

Re: BBOTD friday 15th february 2:25 Sandown: Twigline 1pt win 2/1 Stan James Twigline catches the eye for Willie Mullins. He does not bring many over outside of the big meetings and that could be a tip in itself. Twigline won her maiden hurdle comfortably and will need to step up. She has a fine jumping pedigree and there is every chance she will. Twigline holds a couple of entries at the Festival in the Neptune and Albert Bartlett which suggests connections feel this trip won't be a problem.

Re: BBOTD friday 15th february 5.30 Wolverhampton Class 7 handicaps aren’t everyones cup of tea but I tend to do ok in them I feel the key to them is finding a horse that is well handicapped and in form can pay for a lot against horses out of sorts. They often don’t run 2 races the same so reliable horses also important at this level. Chateau Lola has gone a bit off the boil on recent starts although has run consistently. Slow starts have become a huge issue on recent starts with the visor failing to help last time out needs to find a little more. Dear Ben was well backed on first start after break last time out, he has been well backed again this morning suggesting he is working well, tongue tie added to hood today. Showed very little last time so is a very risky proposition. Cadmium Loch found the very well handicapped Flow Chart too good in one of these last week over 6f, he too is well handicapped but not sure this return to 5f is a good idea given the strong run. Fantasy Fighter suggested a return to form on penultimate start but failed to build on it last time out and has now just had too many opportunities and looks like one to avoid. Deveze has gone close a couple of times including last time out but 1 from 25 tells its own story not the easiest one to predict very in and out. Rightcar is generally reliable this time of year on this surface, 4 from 64 again tells the story at this level but has placed 13 times on this surface. He is very well handicapped on his best form last win came off 52 off 45 today, yard had a winner under this useful apprentice who claims a handy 5lb at this level. The harder they go up front the better, he isn’t the easiest ride in the world but this jockey showed good skills to get Flow Chart home from a likely similar position last week. Could go well at an e/w price. 0.5pt e/w Rightcar 8/1 VC

Re: BBOTD friday 15th february 2:45 fakenham Special Robon 7-4 stan James Well clear of remainder when second over similar trip at Huntingdon, winner went on to win easily since that race. Mark of 99 last time only up 1 today but jockey takes off useful 5 and already bottom weight. No concerns with ground and issues with trip for Honest John and fitness for Fairy Rath.

Re: BBOTD friday 15th february 3.30 Sandown Master of the Game. 4/6 hills bog. Struggling to find some value today, but I belive the 4/6 for the above is, I have him in at 4/9. Only a fall will stop him today, Last seen in may sauntering home, Interesting he is still here in a novice hurdle, ground not a worry, A stepping stone to better, not a great price, but just dont see anything to beat him, apart from the hurdles. 5 star bet for me.

Re: BBOTD friday 15th february 4.05 Sandown - 1pt win Liberty Court @ 4/1 (Bet365) Very consistent in his runs to date and goes handicapping off a reasonable mark I fancy. Ran green when not beaten far on debut under rules in a bumper and then was narrowly beaten by the high-class Ericht (giving weight) on his hurdling debut. Race last time wouldn't have been run to suit and is they go a more reasonable gallop today then I think he could take a bit of beating. Looks sure to run another good race at the very least.

Re: BBOTD friday 15th february 7.30 WOL - Black Dave 4/1 @ Coral 2 wins and a second place in his last 3. Up against some strong competition but I'm hoping he has enough to see off Grilletto and Street Battle. As usual a name I recognise and a horse i like, owned by Evans which is always a bonus. Hoping for big things in the future from this horse.

Re: BBOTD friday 15th february 6.50 Dundalk Miss Bella 1pt win @ 14/1 Bet365 I am looking to continue in good form with my successful daily lay selections. Here is the next one for everyone. Miss Bella ran very well on her return to action over CD when finishing runner up to Bangalore Diamond. She disappointed when sent off favourite last time out and finishing 4th behind another of todays rivals Richilieu but I am going to take her to prove her run a couple of starts ago wasn't a flash in the pan. She is well drawn here in 4 and should get the run of the race.

Re: BBOTD friday 15th february 19.30 Wolverhampton: Black Dave, 4/1 Stan James, win Black Dave was narrowly beaten lto. He finished just a short head behind Ashamly over today's distance off the same mark. Street Battle was impressive on his debut but the form of that race is rubbish and BD gets nine pounds from him. Trainer David Evans is in good form, with 9 winners from 39 runners this month for a £6.06 lsp, and he has a 32% SR with his 3yo this year. All weather specialist Luke Morris is in the saddle.
