Got to agree here, Chelsea arrive back on Tuesday, last thing they will fancy is a tough trip to Elland road for a game Leeds will be well fired up for. kevshat
Re: Capital One Cup > Leeds United v Chelsea > 19th Dec 4pts Leeds (+0.75AH) to beat Chelsea 1.84 Ladbrokes You’d have to feel Chelsea will win this match but I don’t think it will be a walk in the park for them. Leeds will make this a battle and if Chelsea do feel a bit tired or jet lagged then the Yorkshire side have the players to take advantage of it. We’ve seen them beat a strong Everton side in this competition this season and Neil Warnock will definitely have his charges bang up for this one. I think there’s value in the home side on a big looking Asian handicap. Fader
Re: Capital One Cup > Leeds United v Chelsea > 19th Dec 4pts Chelsea to beat Leeds United -1 Asian handicap 2.44 188bet Chelsea will want to make sure that they do the job here after the Corinthians game where they dominated and lost. Leeds will work their ****** off no doubt and may pose some threat coming forward but I think Chelsea have too much here. My one worry in this game is the possible jet lag in the players but I think Rafa will be drilling it into these about the importance of a trophy. To be fair this is probably the ONLY trophy Chelsea can realistically win. A win by one goal will return our stake.
sportxtipster
Re: Capital One Cup > Leeds United v Chelsea > 19th Dec I tipped Corinthians to hold Chelsea in an underish game knowing the Timao's style of play. I also went for a 1-0 win of any of these sides. Chelsea will play now against a different playing style team compared with Timao. Leeds will be much more positive and will not close the spaces like Corinthians did - this Brazilian side always plays like that - remember they have beaten Santos and all their derbies were underish. Chelsea will be much more positive and will definitely look to win this trophy which is an achievable objective with all the respect for the other sides! So maybe Chelsea to win is the safe call! blackcrow
Re: Capital One Cup > Leeds United v Chelsea > 19th Dec Over 3.5 @ 2.59 pinnacle Having already beaten Southampton 3-0 and Everton 2-1 in the League Cup at home, Leeds will be looking at another prize scalp here. Especially with the history between the two managers, then expect Warnock to fire up his players even more for this clash. Leeds have injury concerns regarding their goalkeeper Ashdown while Peltier and Thomas are also uncertain to play, while Chelsea are still without Terry and Cahill in defence, and their two screeners, Mikel and Ramires are both suspended, so both sides have problems, especially in defence. Given this, would not be surprised there are some goals in this game, as a semi final spot is up for grabs as both sides have been scoring goals of late 47-94 (-29.96)

SaltandSauce
Re: Capital One Cup > Leeds United v Chelsea > 19th Dec If there was ever a time to be betting against Chelsea, it has to be in this match against Leeds tonight. Chelsea must certainly be low in confidence after suffering a defeat in the Club World Cup final to the hands of Corinthians. That match only took place a couple of days ago and it was over in Japan, which is half way across the otherside of the world. So it really wouldn't surprise me if a a number of their first team players are still be feeling the affects of fatigue and jet lag. Unless their able to bounce back, they'll certainly face a tough time tonight against a Leeds side who have found themselves in a real good run of form as of late with a total of four wins in their last five games in all competitions. With the Leeds players well rested and the opportunity to progress one step further in the Capital One Cup, I see them causing Chelsea all sorts of trouble tonight. So on that basis, I've went ahead and placed the following bet for a little value: Leeds United v Chelsea - Leads to Qualify @ 9/4 with Bet365

stefanos56
Re: Capital One Cup > Leeds United v Chelsea > 19th Dec Hard one to call I think - value on Leeds but expecting this to be a hard-fought encounter so going for a couple of speculative bets here as tge odds for a team to win on penalties is usually 12/1 but both of these to win on penalties is currently 18/1 with Skybet. Leeds to win on penalties: 18/1 Skybet Chelsea to win on penalties: 18/1 Skybet. Good luck.

SaltandSauce
Re: Capital One Cup > Leeds United v Chelsea > 19th Dec The minute Eden Hazard came on in the second half, the tempo of Chelsea completely changed and it's now 5-1 with a good 20-30mins left to play. The lads are right about money... 33 1/3 x max thats all ill say... But on this game I never cleared the lot, I traded bet/stake once leeds went in front on other outcomes(every game should have a planB, imo), I would say 80% of games I trade for profit or less of a loss, thru the exchange, Its ni on impossible for me to do what i want to do thru High st Bookmakers, But I do like to give fred a bloody nose if i can, but it takes some work... In fact with this bet, He said thru Totesport he was going 4/1, and x/30 in Betfred,,However the 4/1 totesport was only to online...the shops were the same x/30, as I went to 1 to check out,,if he had been 4/1, I would have had a large portion of this with him. You'll make a comedian yet. ;) Thats right..And so you think im not telling the truth, I will happily send my last 3 months statement of betfair to any independent body. FYI I co ran a succesfull property business from 1998-2004(at which point i was bought out) by the other co founders. I am now retired, altho put alot of work into my family, and any needy charities for kids on merseyside(mostly sport), I have a betting bank, plus 100% cover. In this calendar year I have lost 13k on Horseracing, and won 48k on other sports(football cricket), so if you laugh and think im either mad, lying or living in another world*or all)..I could not care less. My betting bank is my betting bank, all other week/week expenses is covered by other means. My mrs dont ask me any questions, I have no pressure on myself, Life is for living, I have more years behind than in front, and im going to enjoy them, whats left...As i have said before, Racing in the most will take a back seat after the xmas meetings....Im sick of all the cloak n dagger stuff....Plus its lost its fun in many areas....And Eddie Ahearn,,,Ive been waiting for that toe rag for years to be caught... Below is a copy of the game plan. If leeds score, Lay leeds to cover stake If chelsea score before 35 mins, go over 2.5 n 3.5 to cover stakes. If no goals at half time, Cover over 2.5 in the game for stakes. Trade out for a loss 80 if you have to on the above. I actually only won, 7300 after comm. If anyone is betting on football, have a get out plan. The time frame is there, Dont wait, Ive doing it for years... And do it yourself, dont be skimmed by the exchanges or william hill now with their cash out program. GL all
