Re: Serie B > Oct 26-27 Taken from weekly newsletter, more information on blog Sassuolo – Juve Stabia Analysis of last round games of both teams: Cittadella – Sassuolo 1-0 Another game where we had a bet on and another game where team we bet on failed to score (on 4 occasions this weekend). But the game was different really. We saw only one goal in good game, where the first real shot produced a goal in 14th minute. A high through ball and Di Carmine managed somehow between rushing out goalie and defender to lob and get a ball into the net. Then it was more or less Sassuolo. Citta relying on counters where they had one good chance in 1st half and one good header with cross from LW. Sassuolo in meantime #1 shot from16m which was missed, #2 header from free kick from 4 meters out – missed (clear cut chance No. 1), #3 again header from 5 meters out – good save (clear cut chance No. 2). In 2nd half story pretty much the same, hosts did not create much as they emphasised on defence and counters, where they had one good shot plus one solid header which forced a good save from Sassuolo keeper. Sassuolo created again plethora of chances from which I must point out low cross in front of Citta goal – Boakye a bit too short, header from corner which was missed and again one on one with Citta keeper and again a missed shot. Overall Sassuolo did create a lot of chances and were desperately unlucky to loose, I can’t say they dominated the game, but finishing was on really low level in this game. Main difference was as said finishing. Citta scored a goal from two good chances, while Sassuolo failed to do so after 5 or six excellent opportunities. FAIR RESULT: 1-1 or 1-2 Game stats:

Cittadella – Sassuolo 1-0

13 Fouls 13

5 Corner Kicks 10

7 Shots on goal 3

0 Shots 2

1 Offsides 0

42 Time % 58

Ascoli – Juve Stabia 2-4 It was a duel of two teams in form, that’s why I did not want to make a risk and bet on that game. But i can clearly say that win for Stabia was a lucky one and again I was impressed by Ascoli. They loos really in good form at the moment but they failed to score the easy chances but can thank that they have Soncin injured –as for that reason finally Zaza is getting starts and that Zaza is superb player on this level. I really must add what i have written last week about this one: I like this game to have some goals, both teams can score, they showed that in previous games and also Ascoli are currently one of better teams when it comes to finishing off actions. Stabia striker Mbakogu should get confident after scoring two in last week game against Bari. Totally correct and also the over was one of more confident ones I have seen all season long. To the game. It was a boring first half, which judges make interesting as Stabia managed to miss penalty + rebound shot, but they got a gift from referee to take penalty again. Again goalie saved but unlucky rebound on the feet of Caserta make this 1-0. In that time Ascoli managed to miss two great chances, first time it was Fescezin miss from some 8 meters, nest one was a goal line clearance after good header from corner kick. 2nd half was pretty much the same, Ascoli tried, while Stabia already relying on counters. In one of those they got second penalty kick (very disputable imo) and scored for 2-0 in meantime Ascoli Zaza was a bit too short after a good low cross in area and good save after free kick. It was 3-0 and game over after corner and header from Scognamiglio. It was 78th minute and it seemed it was over and out. But Ascoli showed character – they pulled two back, both from not as good chances as before, but Zaza showed he is a master of headed play – in 82th and 87th minute he scored two and in between Ascoli managed to miss another 100% opportunity – header from some 5 meters went wide. In 90+3 Juve Stabia scored after counter – through ball and Bruno scored a winner for guests. Overall Stabia did not deserve it, Ascoli for me better team and at least a draw was on cards for them in this game. Over is good and accurate. Overall I do see Ascoi with Zaza as far better team as with Soncin. Feczesin also good, while at Stabia Acosty did well for them. FAIR RESULT: 2-2 Game stats:

Ascoli – Juve Stabia 2-4

14 Fouls 17

10 Corner Kicks 3

4 Shots on goal 5

6 Shots 2

3 Offsides 0

58 Time % 42

Team news: 24.10.: Sassuolo: Bianco def 10/0 banned Laribi midf 0/0 not in training Troianello att 8/2 differentiated training 24.10. Juve Stabia: Zito midf 5/0 injury Agyeyi midf 5/0 injury Bruno att 7/2 injury Danilcevicius att 6/3 injury Analysis of the game / recommended bet: I hope this one will not be a tactical battle as two teams in good form will collide. Stabia now with 4 wins in a row, while Sassuolo lost their first game of the season. Their record is still excellent with 8-1-1 and just 4 goals conceded in those games. And mentioned defence will be the difference maker in this game. Sure Juve Stabia is in form and both Acosty and Mbakogu look as solid as it gets, while also veteran Caserta is showing some really good displays. Sassuolo will probably still be missing Troianello, who is very important for their style of play in attack. But looking at the performances, I can’t deny that Stabia is playing well, but still in last game, they were fortunate to come home with a win, same can be said for a Bari game, where they won it with 2-1 (I wrote about that game last week). So from my point of view now it’s the time that they have ridden out of luck, while also I must mention that Sassuolo were unlucky in last games and overall dominated almost all games they played in this season. So i do believe Sassuolo will win it, they are better team, with better individuals and their stadium is really hard place to play, last season 11-7-3, this one 4-1-0. I believe the offered odds are low, despite rising after opening @ 1.80. With both teams scoring most of their goals in first half (Stabia 35% between 15-30 minute, Sassuolo 31% between 31-45), I believe it could be a wise thing to wait for odds to rise at least on 1.95 level. So my advice is to wait for live betting and get odds for Sassuolo -0.5 @ around 1.95 – 2.00. This will be a value in view then.

Re: Serie B > Oct 26-27

Spezia - Cittadella Analysis of last round games of both teams: Varese – Spezia 0-0 Varese were far better team in this game but today it seems that they were simply a little strong in crosses and not good enough in shots. We had a bet on them and I still believe it was a good one, as Spezia looked clueless, they had two shots that were decent and one chance after Varese goalie fumbled the ball. On other hand Varese created big number of opportunities, with good crosses that were sadly not finished off, due to not being to precise today – I counted 5 excellent chances from wings but as said Varese had no luck today and every time something went wrong, with cross t high either Ebagua not fast enough, while Varese also had good number of shots from inside the area that were not exploited, either goalie saved or shot was missed. Varese is 5 games without a win but they are playing good. Overall I believe point that Spezia got today was undeserved as they were bad, did nothing in attack and they keep on struggling despite spending huge amounts of money on players. I believe 2-0 should have been fair result, but looking at other results something was in the air on Saturday and strikers just could not finish chances off. FAIR RESULT: 2-0 Varese Game stats: Varese – Spezia 0-0 12 Fouls 17 4 Corner Kicks 3 4 Shots on goal 2 6 Shots 0 0 Offsides 2 58 Time % 42 Cittadella – Sassuolo 1-0 Another game where we had a bet on and another game where team we bet on failed to scorr (on 4 occasions this weekend). FAIR RESULT: 1-1 or 1-2 Game stats: Cittadella – Sassuolo 1-0 13 Fouls 13 5 Corner Kicks 10 7 Shots on goal 3 0 Shots 2 1 Offsides 0 42 Time % 58 Team news: Spezia: Lollo midf 4/0 back problems Di Gennaro midf 8/4 out Schiavi def 7/0 out Madonna def 4/0 out Cittadella: Bellazzini att 5/0 out Di Nardo att 0/0 out Perna att 5/0 surgery Pelizzier def 10/0 banned 1 round Coly def 8/0 out Analysis of the game / recommended bet: It is a classic duel of home team against bad away team. This season’s results clearly show that already. But also Citta have problems of their own as two important defenders are out Coly and Pelizzier, all others are for them replaceable. But I am not making any bets on speculation that Spezia should win their home games, I am still not convinced by them as they appear clueless in attack, Citta on other hand the first team who beat Sassuolo this season, so that might gave them a big motivational lift. I already written about Citta and how they played on off better games few rounds ago, but then came the unlucky Ternana loss away and form that game, they are not impressing as before, so question is how last game will affect them. Spezia again without their main creator Di Gennaro and question is how will attack without him, often I said , completely new team for them and they still don’t appeal to me as a unit. That being said I won’t be making any side bets here I think this one can go either way, but I do like goals here, Citta plays offensive away and Spezia need a win, I do think at least 2 goals will be scored, so again wait for live and taking over 2 or less could be a good decision.
