scotty657
Re: Brazil > Serie A > 2012 Botafogo v Santos = Santos +0 AH 3.800 Bet365 Botafogo are in pretty poor form at the moment in general and winless in 5 games. They're actually unbeaten in 7 homes games but the wins were over lesser ranked teams like Coritiba and Palmeiras. Santos are in better form lately and have recorded some decent away scorelines. They are now making up for a poor start to the season and at these odds I can't resist a flutter. Should add that both teams do have some notable absentees namely Neymar, Fucile, Ganso, Zen, Mattos and Lodeiro, key misses for both teams which may count towards a low scoring game. Bahia v Fluminense = Fluminense to win 2.30 Bet365 Bahia are missing three attackers in Elias, Jones and Souza and midfield man Kleberson. Fluminense only have one real miss and it's Thiago Neves who is on interational duty. Fluminense are on some fine form and have recorded away wins over Flamengo, Internacional and Vasco as of late. I had this as a draw but with the absentees I reckon the away side could nick it. 2/2 :beer

mbro
Re: Brazil > Serie A > 2012 Hi all, 1st post. I'm a little tilted after losing an overs bet overnight (Colombia/Paraguay >2.5 @ 2.1 argh!!), so I'm going to look for value in an away win. Internacional to win away at Atletico Goianiense @ 2.1. I'm going to use Betfair so that I can monitor my bet in-play, hopefully for a top-up. With the league table as it is, Inter needs a win to keep up with the 5 teams at the top. If they lose then they are in danger of being overtaken by Corinthians (who are coming back from the slowest of slow starts after an early season commitment to the Copa America), Botafogo, and Cruzeiro (a team playing at the same time as Inter/Atl. Go. and one that can't be ruled out from picking up 3 points at a stuttering Flamengo). Inter will be missing players due to the international fixtures, but the replacements more than stepped up in the 3-0 win over Atletico Mineiro on 11 October. Atl. Go. were a far less impressive on the 11th, losing heavily to Figueirense (2nd from bottom of the table). Goianiense more-or-less gave up and settled in to defend, only really shooting from range. The team had 6 shots (2 on target) but committed 26 fouls. The danger in this sort of fixture is that the weaker team tries to defend from the start in the hope of grabbing a draw. Against Figueirense, Atl. Goianiense tried to defend and disrupt play as much as possible. Didn't work. Inter have had difficulty winning on the road, drawing 5 in succession, and so I will not bet vast percentages of my bank-roll pre-match - I'll look to top-up when the match is in play. However, those draws were against teams far stronger than Gioaniense. Fred and Cassiano are two strikers in a rich vein of form, and I expect them to break Atl. Go. down for a straightforward win. Back Internacional @ 2.1, 2/10 units pre-match. Any comments? Unforeseen pitfalls? Am I talking myself into doing something stupid? Cheers! SALVO7ITALY
Re: Brazil > Serie A > 2012 Internacional do have allesandro back for today so should help breaking down the ag defense. Ag are a poor side but I remember watching them against fluminesse and looked like a great counter attacking side. Internacional did beat minero but I feel when ronaldinho got suspended the day before minero took to the pitch without believing they could win, which is incredible considering the players internacional had out. I think your rights it's not worth high stakes so I'm tempted to go 250 for the win :-)
mbro
Re: Brazil > Serie A > 2012 Very wise words, Salvo. I traded out when Inter were ahead, and then Atl. came back to smash three goals in - caution saved the day!
saimon76
Re: Brazil > Serie A > 2012 Mineiro-Sport 1 & Flu 1 & SaoPaolo 1 Everithing so easy today (with very low odds however..) ? Theorically i say yes, Mineiro is recovering Ronaldinho e 2 other key player. Sport is fightinig to avoid relegation, so can be little tricky game? Flu, before the big match against Gremio, can easyly win so can go relaxed to the directmacth, Sao Paolo musst win against a very poor side in order to maintain alive the Libertadores hopes. low stake being a treble... let's say 2/10 !! It was some times i did not watch such a soccer game.!!! tons of wasted chance by both teams, attack attack attack by Galo that deserved a lot this win!! I am very excited , i was not believing anymore that soccer can give such emotions.this is Brasileirao. And at the end, referees were scorted by police in antiwar set, because referee did not maybe give a penalty to recife at the very last action!!! vinnyno10
Re: Brazil > Serie A > 2012 @bcmsimon In fairness it was an open game that Fluminense both could have and should have won. Fred was greedy when 2v1 where they could have went 3:1 up. Also the home side conceded two freak set piece goals, but credit to 10-man Gremio, footy at its best :loon Didn't see the other game but thats what you get sometimes from teams fighting to survive i guess.. Santos v Atletico kick off now, should be a few goals in this one, if its half as good as the match i just seen I'm in for a treat Lesson to everyone, always double check team sheets pre-game if unsure It was a bit silly of you to blindly take someone elses picks, they should really be used as guidelines really ;) GL in the future

The home team is three wins in a row and has not lost a game by seven rounds. The visiting team comes from a good home win with a score of 3-1 against Internacional, but their position does not change much and therefore are one of the candidates for relegation. The home team is struggling to maintain a place in the Copa Libertadores as it has only two points more than in Vasco's in the area Copa Sudamericana. SALVO7ITALY
Re: Brazil > Serie A > 2012 Last time Botafogo were without Andrezinho they beat Coritiba 2 - 0. Botafogo generally seem to be an unbalanced side when both Seedorf and Andrezinho play. So they should be more balanced tonight. Vasco look to have the best centre back in the league who is back off Brazil duty. But do have there two top strikers out Alecsandro and Tenorio. This is a game that Botafogo cannot afford to lose but a draw for Vasco could be a good result. So maybe this is the safe bet tonight 6pts Botafogo vs Vasco draw I also fancy Atletico GO on a +2 handicap @1.5 because they are an under-rated counter attacking team and because of Sao Paolo recent good run of results, I can see them underestimating Atletico GO. They've only one 2 of their last 5 away games and that has been against Palmeiras and Atletico GO, not so impressive all of a sudden. Fluminese look too strong here, perhaps a shock lead for the away team, but I couldn't imagine them holding on. Coritiba concede an average of 2 goals per game on the road, if they do that here, they're in a whole world of trouble.
