  1. Not sure if I should post this, because the liquidity is shit at best so it may be for a few pennies and not for much use, but who knows, maybe it gets better:...Some stupid odds movement in in-play matches at Betfair again. The ITF Perth matches were suspended because of rain and once again people don't seem to know what the real odds are. For example the Myers - Akita and Arakawa - Parnaby matches. Akita leads a set and a break and was around 1,16 when the match got suspended (at oddspedia you can see that a lot of bookies have here even lower: https://oddspedia.com/tennis/australia/itf-perth-2-women/abbie-myers-shiho-akita-3149425/). Now she is trading in the 1,2x range and I see she has even been traded at 1,3x and 1,4x, which is madness. Same goes for the Arakwa match. Arakawa just broke back before the match suspended but is still trailing 3-4 and the odds were around evens when the match suspended. (Some bookies have that as well, some have Arakawa as a small favorite and some have Parnaby as the small favorite). However people, are now betting on 1,6x Arakawa , which is around or close to her starting price, instead of the actual odds. So if you are an in-play bettor and you can get matched, you should easily see some profit once again the matches start again.
  2. For the people on Betfair. There can be some money made because of some rain delays once again. The WTA and challenger tournaments of Houston got suspended due to rain yesterday and will start tonight again, but on some matches there is quite a difference on where the odds were last night and where they are now. For example on the mens Brymer - Altamirano match. Altamirano was traded around 1,35 (maybe 1,4 max) when the match just stopped on Betfair and is at the lower 1,3x odds at most bookies now. However now on Betfair he sometimes can be backed in the 1,5x and I've even seen the 1,6x range. Considering the 'real' odds and his starting odds were lower than 1,3 and he;s only one break behind in the second set, I would say this is value. And things like this can also be seen on the other markets. I've seen Govortsova in the womens tournament seen trading at the 1,26-1,28 mark this morning, while the odds when the match was stopped were around 1,18-1,2. It may not look much but I guess every small things help.
  3. Hello everyone, I have a few questions that I hope someone can answer for me. As some of you may know I once in a while post some (mostly in-play) tips when I see that odds aren't right on markets at Betfair. But I also bet on tennis in general, however always on the Betfair exchange. Now I've noticed there have been the use of bots on Betfair for as long as I don't remember, but I've never really bothered with them myselves, because if possible I tried to do my bets manually. However, I'm not sure if that is always possible anymore in the future since more and more people use bots.. And siince a few weeks I noticed a different kind of bot on the markets and I would like to know if any of you can explain to me how these work. I know it may sound like a stupid question, but I have really no knowledge about this. My eventual question basically consists of two different parts. The first part is the following. On every market I see the bot basically offering the same amounts at the same odds all the time. I've included a screenshot to give an example. On the screenshot you can see the various amounts of 491, 472, 455, 91 and 45 at various odds . Because this was a pretty even market before the start, the market view of the other team basically looked the same, expect for the 45 at 1,7 to be removed, because they were slight favorites. And so it can vary a little bit depending on what the pre match odds of the players are, but basically it is always the same. The 491, 472 and 455 at the 1,02 / 1,03/ 1,05 odds, the 455 at the 1,2 odds, the 91 at 1.3 and 1.4 odds and so on. The second part of the question is that I also see that this bot - just like the 'regular' bots that were already active - adapts to the scores and the moving market of the match. For example - to take the team of my example screenshot - if the Arends/ Pel team would start to get the upper hand and the market would get pretty close to the 1,7 odd, the amount of 45 that this bot had there would disappear. If they get closer to 1,6, the 45 there would also disappear and so on. On the other hand, if the Arends/ Pel team eventually would end up losing again, these amounts will return and the amounts of 45 will continue to pop up also at higher odds, like 2 and 2,5. I hope I explained it pretty good so far since English is not my first language. Apologies for any mistakes. Then what my question is, is what if I would like to try something like this as well, what do I need, what kind of software? How do I get that I can implent the same amounts at the same odds easily for every match that I want, to make that an automatic process. And also, how do I create a bot that makes my bets create or disappear regarding/ following the scores and movements of the match and markets. Of course I googled about this and read about this, but there are so many types of software out there, that I really don't know what the software is that I need. I'm not naive and realize that what I like to do may be pretty complex - I hope it's not, but I fear so - but at least if I know what software I need to make this possible, that is at least a starting point from where I can learn from. Apologies for the long question, but I tried to explain it the best I could . Kind regards!
  4. Hello, Thanks for the answer Czechpunter, much appreciated! I think I will post it in that forum as well than. I hope at least my question is clear enough to understand!
  5. Hello everyone, I have a few questions that I hope someone can answer for me. And I hope I post this in the correct forum, but I also understand if it being moved to the betting systems/ strategy forums. 6. Thanks for the input kedbet! Uchida won very very easily so it was a very weird odds movement after all.
  7. Most of the time if odds seem too good to be true they are, but can anyone explain to me why Uchida is being offered at 1,2 and even higher against Iakovlev in the Nur-Sultan Challenger? On Betfair this is, but also at some bookies Uchida's odds are rising. Iakovlev, didn't play for a year and before that he lost I don't know how many singles matches in a row, a lot of times with him only winning one or two games and sometimes against total nobodies. If I saw it right, his last win came in december 2016. Now Uchida is no world beater, but he should absolutely have zero problems with Yakovlev. So maybe someone knows if Uchida has injury problems? The only other explanation for such odds to me would be fixing - and I've seen my share of fixes on Betfair - but I have never seen Uchida involved with this. So this is not a tip, because these odds make me very cautious, but I would like to know what other people think about it.
  8. Hello all, Just a small in-play rain tip from me for again for on Betfair. The ITF Andijan matches have been delayed and moved till tomorrow. For most of the markets the liquidity is pretty shit - as you would expect - but I noticed some action going on on the Savinykh - Rakhimova match. A couple of thousands - much compared to the other markets - have been matched on Savinykh on really low odds 1.14-1.31 range, while the match was already paused. And this while the score is 5-5 (0-0 in the game as far as I know) in the first set and the starting odds were pretty much evens, and Rakhimova just a slight favorite at some bookies even as well. I'm not sure if people will try to back these odds again, but otherwise it will be def. a nice lay at those odds. Normally I would also say you should be able to trade out for a nice green on both sides but I'm not going to 'promise' that here, since I really don't know what the liquidity will be on this market.
  9. Romboli and Monteiro at odds of around 2 now, so I hope anyone who was interested got some nice lays in yesterday and this morning.
  10. Hello, Another small in-play tip from me again. Not sure how much profit you can make from it, because the odds fluctuate, but right now they are very much wrong again. Yesterday the ATP Rio Doubles match between Romboli/ Monteiro and Bambrige/ O'Mara started. Bambridge and O'Mara were pretty big favourites, but lost the first set. Score was 1-1 in the second set. Then the match stopped because of rain. When the match stopped, till the match dissappeared from the bookies etc, the odds on the bookies were around 1,8 for Romboli and Monteiro and 1,95 for Bambridge/ O'mara (I checked bet365 and William hill.) On Betfair Romboli and Monteiro were around 1,85-1,87 then. Since there are no doubles scheduled for tonight, the match will continue on wednesday and it seems people have no clue what the odds were when the rain started. Because now on Betfair people are backing Romboli and Monteiro in the 1.5x range...So if you lay these odds, you should be able to make some sure profit when the match will start again tomorrow. So as always, it's not a tip about I think who wins, but I do know that right now the odds are way off again because of a rain delay.
  11. Thanks a lot CSanders. Bacszinsky won easily, but even if she wouldn't have, the odds were simply off. This happens a lot on Betfair during (longer) delays/ interruptions of matches.
  12. Once again a stupid odds movement on Betfair. I'm talking about the Bacszinsky - Zavatska match from the ITF Biarritz tournament. Bacszinsky lost the first set, but then won the second set and took a pretty quick 3-0 lead in the third set. At the 3-0, the odds were lower than 1,2. However, then the match was paused and it is scheduled to resume tomorrow. But now the odds moved to almost 1.4 on Bacszinky which is crazy. As I said, the real odds when the match stopped were lower than 1.2 and even if Zavatska will get her first service game tomorrow, the odds then won't be 1.4. So it's basically a risk-free bet on Basczinsky. If she breaks immediately when the match returns, the odds will be really low and you can get out for a nice (sure) win and if Zavatska holds you should still be able to get out for a small profit as well. As the odds are now, they make no sense at all.
  13. Apologies if someone already read what I typed before. Just after I typed it I noticed the bookmakers have very different odds on the Fujiwara Sizikova match. Some still have Fujiwara as a clear favorite, but others now have Sizikova favorite. Therefore my tip wouldn't be correct anymore. Apologies again.
  14. Well odds were all over the place for a while in the first set. Way too high again after Velotti broke, then way too low when Mamoun got in front. And now Velotti is leading a set and 4-0, so if someone took some, it's easy to trade out now.
  15. Hello all. Yet again, another small in-play tip. Maybe this one isn't that good because the odds are not as off as some other matches i mentioned but they are still off. Its about the qualification match Maamoun - Velotti in the Padova Challenger, offered on betfair. Velotti was the clear favorite (odds-wise) before the match and is leading on serve 3-2 0-30 (Maamoun serve), when it started raining and the match was interrupted till today. When the match stopped the odds were about 1,6 Velotti and 2,15 Maamoun on BWin, and pretty much the same at other bookies. Yet again I think people are unaware of this, because now at Betfair people are backing Maamoun as low as 1.7x , while he should be around 2.15. So as I said, maybe the odds aren't as off as some previous matches but they are still pretty much off and they at least make for a good trade when the match will start again this afternoon. Good luck!
