Re: La Liga - 4-6 February Athletic Bilbao (6th) vs Espanyol (5th) : Really interesting game this one, two teams in a tremendous shape. With a win Bilbao can catch up their opponent. Bilbao won against mirandes on la copa del rey yesterday with two goals of their goleador Llorente. Bielsa succeeded to implements its style after a difficult start. They have confidence, javi martinez will return, muniain, de marcos, susaeta and Llorente are really impressive. As regard espanyol, it will be fair to say that pochettino is doing a great job since he took over the job, he is managing the team very well, his team is really young, this is the problem sometimes but they are improving day by day. Coutinho, victor sanchez and uche arrived this winter to definetely improve the team. But i feel a win in san mames for the hosts this week end, they are too strong at home even if espanyol will go there to make a result. Bilbao to win with a goal of Fernando Llorente. Getafe (9 th) vs Real madrid ( 1st) : Derby of madrid for the leader, a always hard trip for the merengues. Getafe registered two away wins in a row whereas madrid is splashing with class la liga, mourinho will warn them of the danger to play en el Coliseum. But i cant see madrid not winning this game, futhermore michel, rafa, lopo and guiza will miss this game for getafe. Madrid to win. Quickly i see a victory for zaragoza against rayo vallecano, if they miss this opportunity bye bye, this is their last chance to survive and to have a hope to recover nearly 10 points down, they played quite good en el bernabeu last week, rayo vallecano is the perfect victim. So zaragoza Finally valencia+1 against atletico, simeone effect is true but they are like in a dream, valencia will gain a point minimum for me.

Re: La Liga - 4-6 February Bilbao vs Espanyol = 1 (1.72) bet365 stake 6/10 Bilbao position 6° points 29 Espanyol position 5° points 31 Preview: Bilbao: Injured: Igor Gabilondo (midfielder 11/2), Aitor Ocio (defender 0/0), Xabier Castillo (defender 0/0). Espanyol: Injured: Walter Pandiani (striker 7/2), Alvaro Vazquez (midfielder 16/3), Cristian Alvarez (goalkeeper 17/0), Sergio Garcia (striker 15/5), Javi Marquez (midfielder 9/0). The Bilbao has a score in the home of w4-d4-l2 goals scored 18 goals against 11 while Espanyol has a score out of the house w3-d2-l5 goals scored 8 goals against 11. The home team is playing very well in the last period is from 5 consecutive victories at home in league and cup. During the week won away from home in the King's Cup with a score of 2-1 against Mirandes true revelation of this cup. Espanyol played very well at home but has difficulty when playing away from home, recently suffered a defeat in the Copa del Rey by the Mirandes. The home team in the last 11 matches played at home showed w6-d5-l0. At the end saw the absences nell'Espanyol very important, plus I think that the field factor Bilbao to win the game. :hope:hope:hope

Re: La Liga - 4-6 February Not much explanation needed here. - 6pts Barcelona -2.75AH vs. Real Sociedad @ EVS [stanJames] No-one is ****** with Barca at home. Since that match at the beginning of last season at home to Hercules, theyre home record reads P28 W25 D3. This season, they have a home goal difference of +41 and have covered a -3.5 handicap in seven of their last ten games. They're seven points behind Real Madrid, many are saying that they need to fix up. To some extent, they do, however, it's their away form which is their concern, their home form is the best in Europe. They have no pressing injury concerns and at EVS, I will take this on with confidence. By kick-off this will be about 1.80. Get involved.

Re: La Liga - 4-6 February Atletico Madrid vs Valencia = 1 (2.00) bet365 stake 5/10 Atletico Madrid position 7° points 29 Valencia position 3° points 36 Preview: Atletico Madrid: Injured: Silvio (defender 8/0), Antonio Lopez (defender 2/0); go back: Diego (midfielder 17/2), Gabi (midfielder 16/1). Valencia: Injured: Maduro (defender 2/0), Canales (midfielder 8/1), Alcacer (striker 1/0); Suspended: Costa (defender 3/0), Feghouli (midfielder 14/3); in doubt: Adil Rami (defender 16/2). The Atletico Madrid has a score in the house w6-d3-l1 goals scored 21 goals against 7 while Valencia has a score out of the house w4-d4-l2 goals scored 13 goals against 10. The Atletico Madrid with the arrival of Diego Simeone has changed the face of this team was the first clumsy and confusing. The team is from 3 consecutive wins in the league away two of which scored 8 goals and conceding only 1. The Valencia is not having a good time to form, in the last 4 games he recorded 3 draws and 1 win. The balance between these two teams in the home of Atletico Madrid is w4-d1-l1. Quote of the sign 1 of decline in many books. :hope

Re: La Liga - 4-6 February Athletic Bilbao vs Espanyol I agree with the others here, Bilbao should come out on top. Bilbao is in good form, they have no noteworthy injuries and San Mames is traditionally a fortress (not so much the start of this season, but they're getting there along with some good away form). Further more, I really liked Bilbao's attitude towards Mirandes, no complacency there and they should've won 4-1 (two goals were wrongly ruled offside). Not so Espanyol, who surprisingly turned the first leg around, despite looking the poorer side and still managed to go out with a terrible performance. Espanyol still have loads of important injuries and a poor away record, only managing one (a) win since October. Caution is still advised though, since the H2H between these two has traditionally been close, with the overall edge for Espanyol (home record) and quite a few draws at San Mames. Nevertheless with most of Espanyol's goalscorers out, Bilbao should win, maybe clean and perhaps by two, which is why I'm going -0.75 AH Bilbao. Will wait for the game to commence though, since the price seems a little under pressure atm, am thinking @2.00ish. For fun, small stakes, I'm also gonna take Lorente anytime with Bilbao to win 2-0 @10.00. [Rambling] Other than that there's not too much standing out, with a lot of similar teams facing each other. Levante's dwindling form might allow Santander to take something here, but do they have the quality to do so? Am also thinking Villarreal, who have been working hard and have good odds at around 5.00, but Sevilla is pretty solid at home and Villarreal haven't won in the Pizjuan since 2007! Then again, I'd expect Atletico to hold their form against Valencia. The latter are having a great season, but I get the feeling they're almost worn out, having played a lot of games lately and still more to come. They're still active in all three competitions, while Atletico only has La Liga to focus on. Emery might have to make concessions or risk losing out in all. They're still five points ahead of Levante and Espanyol, and both may not take three points this weekend, while Valencia will probably want to fight Barca for the Copa final.

Previous season received in both meetings with Atl. Madrid yellow cards, one he came substitute min 77 and need only 5 minutes to mark his card. Strong play - Over 6.5 yellow cards, one direct red card will count as 2 yellows. Mostly Valencia will cover. Possible play: Old Albelda likely to start with Tino Costa. Albelda passed 34 years old can see him fouls because plays a key role in the centre midfield. Valencia play with two defensive midfielders. Look for Radamel Falcao to net against a brand new central defenders Unay Emery propose tonight: Rami - V. Ruiz. Valencia are thinking more on the return leg from Spanish Cup with Barcelona. Radamel Falcao Garcia can take advantage of this to the maximum.
