Re: Bairn's Value Away Wins

Sat 20th Nov | Man Utd v Wigan | £10 at 16.4 (Pinnacle) i dont agree with this bet, i think rooney and nani will have a big impact in this game.
I'm with you on this, however, while I think Wigan have got a very slim chance of winning, I do think they are a tiny bit overpriced. My gut instinct is to just put a small bet on Wigan, but all back-testing was done at level stakes, and the system did pick out Wigans win away to Tottenham earlier this season at 12/1, so for the time being at least, I'm sticking with level stakes, and £10 on Wigan!

Re: Bairn's Value Away Wins Looks like I picked a good month to start posting these tips. The system has always been profitable long term, but the short term profit is even surprising me at the moment. Glad the selections are helping some of you out!

Re: Bairn's Value Away Wins

Bairn did you ever think of looking at home teams which you think you might have an edge on using similar system.
I have looked at home teams, and have been following a very similar system betting on homes. Backtestings showed a much lower profit than the aways, but a profit nonetheless, and so far this season (despite 0 from 4 last weekend), it's been showing a nice steady profit. I might post selections from it at some point, but to keep things simple, I'm planning on concentrating on the away wins for the time being.

Re: Bairn's Value Away Wins Fantastic month Bairn1, making my 5% yield on my aways system look positively pitiful. But as you say this great start will probably start to drop off and it will be interesting to see how the system copes with a bad run. But heres hoping thats a long way away. Good luck :clap

Re: Bairn's Value Away Wins Bairn1, I saw the great results of your system :ok, may you show me the signals from which you can predict the ability of winning for away team ? what data did you use to calculate the ability ? :notworthy

Re: Bairn's Value Away Wins Winningbin a number of us who were following Bairn from the start suggested that he divulge as little as possible on the system and that he keep to himself and we can just benefit from his posts which we all greatly appreciate. I think in the interest of this system working long term it's in all our interests not to say too much. Of course if Bairn wants to provide formula etc that's very much up to him.

Re: Bairn's Value Away Wins Bairn - Just wondering how many historical games you look at. For instance if you're looking back at say 25 games just wondering if you could improve your return if you looked at only say 8/12 games. The reason for this if a team isn't winning but playing well over 25 games they may well be a bigger problem at the heart of their ability to win. Just wondering if you've given any thought to this. I'm always interested in trying to improve things even if returns are fantastic
