  1. This is the group of death really 3 teams very equally matched here are my views tomorrow. Senegal v Japan I like Senegal -0.25 @1,96. They are such a physical direct running team, they can mix it up and like to play a long ball. So in the event that Japan put an early press on like they did against Colombia, Senegal can just go over that up to Niang who's very capable in the air. I've major concerns about two centre backs for Japan 10 man Colombia caused them trouble with simple balls over the top which Falcao lateched on to twice and could have scored. Their right back also is a concern H Sakai he 's positioning sense was found out a few times against Colombia. the keeper Kawasaki is a liability and that was clear to see for anyone that studied Japan in the warm ups. Tomorrow Sakai and Kawasaki match up against Mane and Sybaly down the left and Niang and they have serious pace. At the back Koulibaly and co are very solid and they kept Lewandowski very quiet. I think they are too physical, too fast and have the attributes to target where Japan are at their weakest. Poland V Colombia This is a tough one to call and whether Glik plays will be key. I'm not convinced by Cionek or Pazdan particularly Pazdan he seems to play a yard off the rest of the Polish defenders and that is a worry for me. If Glik plays that changes things as he is their leader and also excellent in the air in the offensive third. Millik was very poor against Senegal and I think his place is under threat and I also worry about Piczczek defensively. Offensively I rate Poland but they are very reliant on attacking down their left side with Grosicki he is a real threat. Lewandowski was poor against Senegal but he was up against Kouliblay who is a superb centre half. I think we will see the real Lewandowski tomorrow. Colombia were good with 10 men against Japan. Izquierdo was a threat and Falcao looked dangerous with the limited supply he got. James is their key player and he only joined as a sub reservations remain whether he is fit but I think when the chips are down he will come to the party. At the back D Sanchez was very poor for Colombia and I'm concerned about how he'll match up to Lewandowski. All in all I think these are two good attacking teams on their day, the shackles will have to be off tomorrow and the one who's bravest will prob take it. I think we will see goals because of this but also because of where they sit on the table this is do or die. I like Over 2.25 @ 1.88 and will prob bet in running on AH bet once I see how teams set up.
  2. Lot of very questionable results in Italy and subs in Lazio game were very strange. Obviously no hard evidence but funny season has started imo be warned !!!!
  3. Few for today Saint Etienne -0.75 @ 2.00 Guingamp are in terrible shape conceding a lot of goals and very blunt up top in my opinion. This is my strongest pick of weekend and expect price will go. Nice V PSG over 3 @ 1.72. I expect Nice to get one in this game and PSG have been doing well without Neymar. I think more often than not there's at least 3 goals in this game. So still some small value above 1.66 in my opinion. Marseille V Lyon over 2.75 @ 1.85. Both of these teams very good in attack and Lyon in particular very poor at the back recently. I think both teams will score and given position in league Lyon will have to push strongly for the win, hence think we will see some good attacking football with plenty of top rated chances just need offensive players to convert. Some value gone but still a bet above 1.80.
  4. Great picking today homework has clearly been done!!!!
  5. Malcom not back Whoscored have it wrong so going to leave this one. I like over 2.25 in Nice V Lille I was surprised to see this drift earlier and now as I expected money has come for it. Nice will be very anxious to correct recent form and Lille can be very dangerous on their day. My numbers suggest there is value on overs.
  6. Montpellier V PSG U 3.5 top pick this weekend. Montpellier have proven against all the big teams that they know how to set-up and frustrate big opposition. Their meeting earlier on this season was 0-0 whilst I suspect PSG will win I don't see them accumulating enough goals to beat the unders line @ 1.90. Don't have time for write ups on some others but also like Angers, Saint Etienne and Nice at match odds.
  7. Anyone know what caused Nice to drift 50 points over night?
  8. Marseille -0.75 @ 2.00 key pick for this weekend just in solid run in terms of performance and Caen over achieved v Boardeaux. Marseille have much bigger strength and better equipped to deal with 3 games in a week. I also liked Nantes but price has been crushed so would leave that at current level as hard to know Bordeaux lineout with disciplinary issues.
  9. Caen +0.5 @ 2.0 Bordeaux imo lucky to get result v Troyes and Caen played well whilst losing against Lille. There's question marks about Malcom impending departure. Marseille -1.75 @ 2.10 played well on early ko Saturday didn't have to exert themselves too much and have much more strength in depth as you'd expect from line like this. Strasbourg confidence levels at an all time low.
  10. Nice -0.75 strongest bet of the weekend for me and also like Marseille -0.5 Nice have more strength in depth and Marseille have shown enough away from home to suggest they can get a win against Rennes
  11. Lyon -0.75 @ 2.10 too much class and will look to bouce back from poor result against Lille a game they had more than enough chances to win. Montpellier v Marseille U 2.5 @ 1.80 Montpellier have proven to be very resilient against all top team and expect nothing different today
  12. Two early ones I like this week. Toulouse +0.5 @ 1.90 Nantes becoming more one dimensional imo lots of long balls and I think Toulouse will deal with these and may score 1. Bordeaux DNB @1.79 I debated this a lot but Rennes are really lacking a cutting edge up top and even though Bordeaux haven't scored freely as of late I rate their attack highly and their end product scores are much more superior to Rennes. I think Rennes will struggle to create many chances hopefully Malcom can help De Preville to get off the mark.
  13. Tough week in Ligue 1. Matches that interest me are Lille V Marseille Strasbourg V Angers Montpellier V Rennes Toulouse V St Etienne I will post picks closer to kick off but I'm strong on Marseille -0.25 and looking at over/under in Strasbourg lot of variance in the line so value could fall either side depending where price goes closer to kick off. Anyone got any thoughts on Toulouse match they were poor last week which surprised me. St Etienne +0.25 is interesting but Toulouse can be different proposition at home has anyone got any views on that match in particular.
  14. Few for tomorrow lots of goals required Overs 3.5 PSG V Marseille 1.95 Marseille's leaky defence to come to the fore PSG -1.25 @ 1.87 I expect PSG to go to town Lyon -1 @ 2.15 Lyon good performance mid-week expect them to build and begin the drive for second Lyon O 2.75 @ 1.76 Nice O 2.5 Both teams creating lots of chances particularly Strasbourg can see 3 goals plus
  15. Bordeaux -0.75 @ 1.91. As we all know Nantes have been stubborn and good defensively. In saying that U do see prob in their full back positions Bordeaux have right player in Malcom to expose. Nantes also missing key holding midfielder which has been enough to sway me.
