Yes, totally agree on Sonego is the favourite because he is the defending this championship but Giron is in much better form. Giron is also looking forward to a strong end of the season performance - like last year - whereas I think Sonego is looking into next season.
I am saying Sonego is the favourite because you can have Giron at 2.10 with Bet365 now.

Marcos Giron to beat Lorenzo Sonego at 1.91 with Bet365
Looking at Sonego's recent record, it seems to me that this price is based on his name and reputation only. He's been very poor in recent months, while Giron, with his hard-working attitude, has achieved many good wins, including over guys like Ruud, FAA, and Lajovic. Of course, the conditions should be to Sonego's favour, but that factor alone shouldn't be enough for Sonego to be the favourite.

Gauff to beat Vondrousova 2-0 at 2.00 with Pinnacle.
Gauff is finishing strongly at the end of the year while Vondrou is decelerating.

Dimitrov to beat Hurkacz at 1.74 with Unibet.
Dimitrov is playing well and still going strong and I reckon he has a great chance of winning the Paris Masters.
-
Dimitrov is still going strong. He will beat his QF opponent, probably Hurkacz and advance to the SF.
-
Zheng to beat Zhu in straight sets at 1.65 with Pinnacle.
Zheng is the better player and the better hope for China to win the Elite Trophy. So I am betting on Zheng to repeat her feat in Asian Games final between the 2 Chinese.

Agree with you that the odds are too high. Also agree that Osta has a higher chance to win than the odd suggest. Zheng's low odd is because she is the local favourite and she will be the only local in the SF if Samsonova beat Kudermetova today.
As for Samsonova low odd, imho it is an indication of her chance to win this match. Kudermetova is already out of the SF (single) but she is in the Final for the double so she may not go all out for today's match and save it for her doubles final. So I find it more logical to bet on Samsonova to win it by straight sets or with a game handicap of -3.5.

Van de Zandschulp to beat AAF at 2.40 with Pinnacle.
This is a value bet from my analysis. H2H 1-1 and Van won the latest matchup last year with a higher odd than today. Van is also better form wise and played his last match 3 days ago whereas AAF played an evening match yesterday.

Ostapenko to beat Vekic at 1.58 with Pinnacle.
Both players are inconsistence but Osta is fresh and physically ready. Vekic is demoralised after yesterday long-match loss and could mentally and physically affect her performance today.
Ostapenko won 4-6, 6-4, 6-1.
Vekic was aggressive from the start and hope to win by straight sets to have any chance to advance to the SF but as expected, she felt the physical strain in latter stage and lost the final set 6-1.

Seyboth Wild +1.5 set to beat Griekspoor @1.91 with Pinnacle.
Griekspoor is in low form. SW has equal ability and much better condition........ except he is a more of a claycourt player.

50-50 match at a little +money
Trevisan to beat Siniakova @2.02
H2H 1-1
About same standard of skill.
About same condition - both not at their best
I think Trevisan is more motivated!

Navarro to beat Zheng @2.38.
I think this is almost 50-50 match and Zheng was not feeling well yesterday. Value bet for me.

With the match playing in the gruelling heat at 3 pm Paris time - the hottest so far in this edition according to the weather forecast - I will take the youngster, Alcaraz -1.5 set to beat his (much) older opponent, Kjokovic @1.94.
-
All said....... and without a rest day before this SF match, I reckon Haddad will be thrashed. I have observed her slow start in her last 2 matches so I am going with Swiatek -2,5 G in the first set @1,53.

Yep. Noted that in my picks.
Now H2H 7-0!
Svitolina was playing like fighting in a war!
She will donate all her winnings in the FO to the fronliners fighting in the Ukraine-Russia War!

Yep. That's why I've backed Svitolina in my picks for today I shared last night. I'm often choosing players I think will lose, but the price is worth a shot.
H2H Svitolina 6-0

I don't really have a bet for today, the men's matches should be quite clear-cut aside from one, and I can't find anything I'd like on the women's side of the draw, either. Hoping for Kasatkina personally, but Svitolina certainly has a good chance.
35 minutes ago, Smiles Tennis said:Yeah I like Kasatkina and hope she goes through.
Ya, I think hoping is one thing but betting for a short odds for at most a 60-40 chance is another thing.
For me it is a value to bet on a ML-win for Svitolina. Hope she plays like her countrywoman, Tsurerenko.

Francisco Cerundolo to beat Yannick Hanfmann at 1.50 with William Hill
Hanfmann had an exhausting epic in the first round, and one that even had plenty of ups and downs, both mentally and physically. Cerundolo has been extremely solid recently, and I think he should just take this quite comfortably if he turns up in a fine enough form.
Jasmine Paolini to beat Olga Danilovic at 2.09 with Pinnacle
Once again, I'm going against Danilovic after successfully backing Watson to cover the handicap against her during the qualifiers. She's still holding up physically by all accounts, but Paolini is a nightmare match-up to test her stamina, and a very competent clay court player in all regards as well. She'll make Danilovic play plenty of extra shots, which is something that worked against her in the past, so everything above about 1.90 looks value to me here.
As you have reasoned, I bet Cerrundolo -1.5 set to beat Hanfmann with better odds.
As for Paolini-Danilovic, I will give a miss because I think Paolini has reached her peak in this clay swing while Danilova is still reaching her best...... thus for me is a 40-60 to Paolini.

For me Dimitrov to win a set is highly probable and @2 is good value..... hope Djoko is not pretending to be "slightly" injured.

I presume Badosa and perhaps Sakkari too decided to give themselves a few days off before Wimbledon to rest up and recharge. Although that said, with Badosa you're never quite sure, as she has had some shocking losses at times this year for a player who's considered to be top 5 in the world.
For the ATP I think it is Tsitsipas who will like to take a rest and freshen up before the GS. So Ivashka got a chance to beat him at a great value.

Can D Yastremska upset the inconsistent Ostapenko? Any comment, please?

Burel to beat Navarro at +money
50-50 match. H2H 1-1. Both 22 year-old play clay and hard courts quite well. Both are motivated to climb up the ranking.
Therefore it is coin toss to see who is more composed and determined at the match.
