It's an international break for the first week but A-league will go on. Expect some international players to be called up.

Bournemouth @ 2.1
Tottenham @ 1.25
Chelsea @ 1.83
20 pts treble
-
Bournemouth -0.5
Bournemouth may have four losses but two were against top teams like Man City and Arsenal. Brighton were outplayed at Leicester and failed to beat a 10 men Watford in their second away game. I don't think Bournemouth has become a bad side and their fortune will have to change. Against a newly promoted side, I fancy them to pick up their first win of the season.

Arsenal @ 1.4
Swansea @ 2.4
30 pts double

Looks like a tough set of fixtures to me, probably also Swansea for me. Hopefully Bony can get his scoring boots back now that he is back in his old stomping ground.

Watford to win @ 1.9
RB Leipzig win @ 1.4
Tottenham win @ 1.25
50 pts treble

Inter DNB @ 2.31
Going with Inter for the second week. A big game for them. I think they did well in the first week. Roma won too but not too impressive and it seems like they are still trying to adapt under Eusebio Di Francesco. Nianggolan was asked to play in a deeper role this season and that is not going to be as effective as he is going to be. I have a feeling Roma will struggle.

DC United v Atlanta Utd DNB
Surprisingly, DC United has been a nemesis to Atlanta United this season. In the two meetings, they have actually beaten them. Atlanta didn't play particularly bad in the two games but they failed to put DC United away with the chances they had. As a result, they were punished. DC United will be playing on short rest and a trip back from high altitude Colorado isn't the best preparation for this game. Atlanta should be well rested and more focused for this final meeting and I believe they will right the wrong from the first two meetings here.

Midweek game
DC United v Atalanta United DNB
Odds seems to be dropping so I will post here first.

Liverpool win @ 1.4
Inter win @ 1.57
Real Madrid win @ 1.33
30 points treble

Inter -0.75
Fiorentina had a fire sale, fans favs Gonzalo Rodriguez and Borja Valero are gone. Rising Italian star Federico Bernardeschi also sold to Juventus. Stefano Pioli may want to exact some revenge against Inter but it will not be in this game. Inter bought early and bought well this summer so I believe Spalletti should have a good start.

Portland Timbers -0.5
This is likely to be a bad spot for the NYRB. While they are likely to be a high after beating Cincinnati but one has to wonder how emotionally spent they could be. It was a great win as they had to come back from two goals down. Most of the starters played heavy minutes. This game will be played on turf again (same as the one against Cincinnati) which is not going to help their cause too. Portland Timbers will be keen to get back to winning ways quickly as they are in a really tight Western Conference. They are likely to be without starting gk Jake Gleeson, defender Liam Ridgewell and second leading scorer Fernando Adi but if they can take advantage of a NYRB side who is likely to be tired physically and mentally, they should be able to get another win at home.

FC Dallas -1
Not much time for writeup this week.
-
Everton 1.67 (1)
Man Utd 1.3 (1)
£20 double

I like Hoffenheim DNB. This team is rock solid at home and was unbeaten for the whole season. They may have lost Sule and Rudy but they have brought in reinforcements like Grillitsch and Gnabry (both players are my ex players in my football manager save as Werder Bremen manager) so I know what they can do.

Back from a short break and I'm ready again.
Chicago Fire -0.75
It has been quite a while since Fire has gone three games without winning. Their winless run is on the road which isn't that uncommon in MLS. Chicago Fire will be glad to be back at home where they are really dominant. In the 10 games, they have won 9 and draw 1, scoring 27 goals and conceding only 4 goals. As for Revolution, their wins were at home and against two struggling teams in LA Galaxy and Philly Union so it's hard to say that they have turn a corner. With Fire playing at Toyota Park again and against one of the poorest road team in MLS, I think they should get back to winning ways here.
FC Dallas DNB
Both teams come into this game on a back of a thrashing. Philly may have won 6 out of their last 7 at home but FC Dallas is a different animal. They have the best defence in the league and have only lost twice away (one was where they fielded a weakened team). It's just too hard to trust Philly because of their inconsistency. FC Dallas will want to prove that last week result is nothing more than a blip.

*Poor form alert
Whitecaps -0.5
Whitecaps will know there is no better opportunity to continue their climb up the table. Timbers isn't the best road side and could be missing up to at least 8-10 first teams and squad players due to Gold Cup, injuries and suspensions and Whitecaps (who has a habit of being too passive at times) should really be going for all 3 points.

Sorry, I'm not really into O2.5 or BTTS bets. Based on stats this season, seems likely though.

NYC -0.5 @ 1.9(pinnacle)
Toronto will be missing quite a number of players(like Altidore, Bradley, Cooper, Osorio) because of the Gold Cup. NYC put up a stinker against the Whitecaps in their last game. This is a revenge game too. NYC was thrashed 5-0 and dumped out of playoffs last season by Toronto. I believe NYC has marked this game down on their calendar for a long time as they will try to lay the ghost to rest.

Crystal Palace @ DNB 2.10
Crystal Palace has opted for a more pragmatic manager again in Roy Hodgson. He is the type of manager similar to Tony Pulis and Big Sam and probably more suited for style of play. He is likely to go back to what worked for Palace last season, be it the personal or tactics. Like I mentioned earlier, Southampton has looked poor. Even though it's still early days in Roy Hodgson reign, I believe Palace should be able to get something out of this game even if they don't win.
