I agree. And that's why I often think odds should be closer than they are and I back the underdog.
And in regards to your previous comment,  the bookies set those odds because of the amount of money that gets bet on the players at certain prices let's them know whether the player should have a better chance of winning than what they've priced it as.

I see the first of my hopeful bets just won,  Kasatkina at 2.7. I thought that was too high and the match would be closer.  This time she won.  😁

    Gojo to beat Karastev

Karastev made it to the final of the Tokyo 500 last week only to be beaten to n straight sets by Shelton, knowing Karastev can be up and down with his mentality and attitude I wonder what he will do with travelling to a different continent and performing after his performance on Sunday, I’m hoping with his big serve, Gojo can take advantage of any mental or physical fatigue Karastev may have.

Should be simple enough for Caroline.

Yet again I don't really understand your thinking here? You totally throw out pure hopeful thinking.

Bloody white lets down what would have been another clean sweep. Pah!

Just two for me tomorrow :
I don’t honestly think it would have taken much to beat both Robertson and Allen and I think both of the players that won those matches have had their prices enhanced partly because of that.
however, Sijun is flying right now and despite Xing not being in that category, Petrov was not by any means playing out of his skin. Xing has beaten better players than Petrov already.
    3pts Sijun to beat Brown 4/6 Bet365
    2.75pts Xing ZIhao (-1.5) to beat Petrov 10/11 Bet365

Vekic to beat Qinwen Zheng - 4.1 with GGbet
Zheng has been flying recently but shouldn't be 1.3 or lower against a top 25 player, no matter how out of form they are.

Kasatkina to beat Krejcikova - 2.7 with Unibet
Krejcikova had a good week recently but has still been poor most of the year. Kasatkina has been grinding away this season and was tired when Babs beat her recently but she shouldn't be this high.

It’s funny cause the old one was poor but now we have this tripe, come back and all is forgiven. The last one was brilliant compared to this.

I'm going to be stupid brave and have a bet on Leclerq, here. I actually think he is a decent player but it's obviously more of a bet on Trump being out of steam (hopefully) after back-to-back event wins. I think evens for him to get 2 frames is fair enough. I have a sneaky feeling it could end 4-3 Trump but if I back Leclerq and it goes to a deciding frame then I know he's losing so I'll keep safe with the handicap bet.
2pts Leclerq (+2.5 frames) to beat Trump evens Bet365

Seyboth Wild +1.5 set to beat Griekspoor @1.91 with Pinnacle.
Griekspoor is in low form. SW has equal ability and much better condition........ except he is a more of a claycourt player.

all three underdogs picked out won last night and two in a deciding frame, which I rarely win with, so I'll take that.

    2.5pts Sijun (-1.5 frames) to beat J.Clarke 4/5 Bet365

Hindsight being a beautiful thing, Allen was ripe for the upset last night. Complaining about the tour, problems with his action, out of form and issues off the table. Having said all that, it takes some going to lose to Petrov. He's that poor he'll be lucky if he keeps his card.

Renata Zarazua to beat Emina Bektas at 2.00 with Unibet
Bektas has been semi-injured for a while, and Zarazua, in home conditions, has the right playing style to take advantage of that I'd say. She can run and play longer rallies all day long, and she also tends to perform reasonably well in Mexico, so I'm honestly not sure what makes her the underdog here.

Normally a big win like that, the next match it’s a come down but it’s probably a 50/50 really as every match is different

I would say he has a pretty good chance as he seems to be a good young prospect.
