Hopefully more thoughts and bets will be posted about separate matches tomorrow because it would be boring if only myself and you @CzechPunter contributes. It's only me and you @CzechPunter who mostly writes about tennis on this forum and that's boring. @yogg post more matchbets please.

    Osuigwe Whitney vs Giorgi
This should be a very easy game for Giorgi or a cake walk as someone has once before described on this forum. Giorgi has had some good workouts on hardcourts recently and has maintained a good winning ratio beating people that she should normally beat but perhaps getting to no milestone of importance in all those victories.
Giorgi in my opinion is an intresting vibrant and engaging player with her heavy groundstrokes and quickplay. She is also very regressive (A Player in orbit on a destination to nowhere) Lost recently to Bencic 6-4 6-4, prior to that, brushed aside by a mundane and insipid Keys and lost in a three setter to Kuzmova who really in my opinion is a player for the future.
Whitney Osuigwe represents hope for the future of American tennis. She is the reigning ITF junior world champion and a former no1 junior in the world. Osuigwe also won the 2017 French Open to become the first American to win the girls' singles event in 28 years. She is currently 16yrs old and has been playing well recently to be worthy of mention. I expect her to improve a lot from her recent defeat to Bencic and play with more confidence and freedom against a clueless Giorgi. I will not go overboard here with anxiety. Verdict: over 19.5 total games. Good luck all!!

Ok, thanks for your input @CzechPunter and now I guess it's time for other members to contribute like myself, would be boring if the only thoughts and bets posted comes from you.

Below are my 6 betting tips for the 2nd round from La Liga and I will try to add a short preview of each of my bets:

    1. Leganes - Real Sociedad
The bookies offered here very low odds for at least two goals scored here and that is quite strange because neither of the teams have a strong defence and individual mistakes can be very often at this kind of teams. The guests are definetely the better team but on small stadiums like this one, the home team can produce little surprises and I see them also scoring at least once.
    My bet: Over 2 goals @ 1,74

    2. Alaves - Betis
After the big defeat from the 1st round, the guests have to improve that bad memory and replace it with a posstive result against a small team. Betis want to catch en European rank so their ambitious should be bigger. Even if Joaquin is doubful, Tello can bring that sunshine in guests' eyes. Another interesting fact is that this gound is one of the guests' favourite, they manage 4 wins in 6 visits.
    My bet: Betis AH 0 @ 1,92

    3. Atletico Madrid - Rayo
I expect this season the hosts to be a bigger enemy in winning the championship because their defence is strong as in the last season, but they also improved their attak. The guests are alongside Valladolid the weakest teams from La Liga in my opinion, with the biggest chances to move back to Segunda. This match can be considered a little derby, but I really can't give any chances to Rayo.
    My bet: Atletico Madrid -2 @ 1,92

    4. Girona - Real Madrid
The guests changed their coach but they still remain very dangerous on their own ground. Moreover, Real conceded at least a goal in their last 4 away games from La Liga. Last year, the hosts managed to get the 3 points against Los Blancos and I believe that this match won't be so easy as the bookies are offering the odds.
My bet: Both teams to score @ 1,75

    5. Levante - Celta Vigo
I can't say that I am a fan of the hosts, but with Jemez as coach, this team became stronger especially at home, in front of their fans. Very balanced odds here, but in my opinion Celta will leave the city without points because their defence isn't in the best shape. I see Levante scoring once or twice and they should keep their goal clear.
    My bet: Levante AH 0 @ 1,78

    6. Athletic Bilbao - Huesca
This little team of Huesca can and will produce more surprises this season and against Bilbao there are many chances to repeat the posstive result from the 1st round. Another interesting fact that I read today is that the hosts won at home only against 5 from 12 newly promoted teams in the last 23 years. Bilbao isn't a force(I don't think they will finish in top6), not even at home, but the bookies always consider them favourite year after year. I expect the guests to make a good game and they can smash at least a draw in this meeting.
    My bet: Huesca +1 @ 1,83

I can't guarantee that all my bets will be won, but I will play them single with a flat stake of 10 euros and I hope to make profit weekly.

Alright, here we go with the final Grand Slam of the season and, before I begin, I'd just like to wish good luck to everyone who's going to be betting on it!
Now - I haven't had a long post in a while and this is a good excuse to have one, so here we go. This season has been quite juicy so far, especially if compared with the disaster that went by the name of 2017, so I'm going to be slightly more ambitious with the first round than I usually am. There are many interesting matches and I have a good feeling about quite a few of them, so I'm going to go for all kinds of bets in the very first round and no outrights at all. If I was asked for some tips, however, I'd have Nadal and Halep as the favourites and Bertens and Tsitsipas as the dark horses. Let's hope all goes well and that there will be a profit to be collected before the second round begins.
Nikoloz Basilashvili to beat Aljaz Bedene at 1.90 with Ladbrokes
The first bet that I'm going to go for is on the man who's made me so many points a few weeks back. That was on clay and this is on hard, but Nikoloz is reasonably universal and the fact is that he should be in a much better position going into this than Bedene, who's had pretty much zero match practice in recent times and who might be here just to collect the check. The last point might be stretching things a bit, but really, one needs to have some matches under the belt given the long match format and Bedene doesn't have that, so opposing him at odds that aren't even all that skinny makes a lot of sense to me.
Jil Belen Teichmann to beat Dalila Jakupovic at 1.67 with BetVictor
The one player that I really liked in the qualifiers was Jil Belen Teichmann and I think that she has every chance of getting a first round win as well. Jakupovic is one of those players that have just dodged having to qualify - and I have to tell you that I'm not sure that she would've been able to go through three rounds of tennis if she was asked to do that honestly. She made a lot of great results during the grass court seasons, with wins over Mertens and even Osaka, but, since then, she's done little of note. And, even more importantly, her last outing ended with her retiring in the middle of the second set. It's the same case as with Bedene then, with us getting two ways of winning here - either Teichmann beats her fair and square or Jakupovic just shows up for the check. I'm more than happy to chance that.
Dayana Yastremska to beat Karolina Muchova at 1.53 with Paddy Power
Karolina Muchova was another player that I quite liked in the qualifiers, but she faces a much sterner test than Teichmann here in the form of the in-form Yastremska, who really has impressed me on quite a few occasions in this season. What I really appreciate about her is the fighting spirit that she brings with herself, every single time that I saw her she was fighting to the end, with her recent match in New Haven being a splendid example of that if I remember correctly. She's one of the younger talents that I've been tracking in this season and she's generally been playing a level above Muchova, so, despite the qualifying success, I think that the Czech is going to come up well short here.
Fernando Verdasco to beat Feliciano Lopez at 1.66 with Ladbrokes
As much as one might like these two guys, it's fair to say that this match is going to be played in the twilight of their careers. That said, it seems to me that Lopez is losing his skills almost as quickly as Ferrer, while Verdasco still has a couple of good performances in himself, which is why I'm going to back him here. The big problem that I have with Lopez is that he seems to have lost a lot of endurance over the last year or two - and that is a tremendously important issue given that this match could go on for four or five sets.
Marco Cecchinato to beat Julien Benneteau at 1.67 with William Hill
Julien Benneteau is another player that's in the twilight of his career. I can't quite remember when exactly he wants to call it quits, whether it's this very US Open or it's one of those French tournaments at the end of the season, but that doesn't really matter. He was quite poor in Winston Salem and I'm not sure that he will be able to put up one last heroic performance. Cecchinato has almost no (or no) wins on hard courts, but he came close to getting some recently against much tougher and sharper players, so this is his chance - and, over five sets, he could even just outlast the Frenchman and win that way.
Vasek Pospisil to beat Lukas Lacko at 1.82 with Pinnacle
Just a few months ago, I was ranting about how I don't like Pospisil in the singles and I was backing Bolt to win a set against him in one of the grass court tournaments, that much I remember. I haven't fallen in love with him since, don't get me wrong, but he has got some wins and some confidence back, while Lukas Lacko has been just moving around without soul in recent months. I was thinking about backing him against Zeballos in Winston Salem, but I dodged that bet and luckily so. Pospisil also has the home advantage here in a sense, so I'd have him as a somewhat bigger favourite than the odds suggest.
Jason Kubler to beat Roberto Bautista Agut at 4.33 with Ladbrokes
I haven't really covered any underdogs just yet, but here we go, I did manage to find one that I quite like in the form of Jason Kubler, who did really well in a couple of Challengers recently and who could find himself in a favourable spot against Roberto Bautista Agut, who didn't really play on American hard courts in the recent weeks. In fact, he hasn't played for more than a month now, with fitness issues troubling him the last time out. I reckon that he's sufficiently fit given that he's decided to show up, but Kubler is a good enough player to take advantage of any rustiness and I think that he'll be more than fired up for it given all the injury struggles he had in his career. He appears to be without pain now - and the odds for him to win a match against a presumably rusty opponent look tasty enough.
Jan-Lennard Struff (vs. Smyczek) + Agnieszka Radwanska (vs. Maria) at 1.95 with Paddy Power
Robin Haase (vs. McDonald) + Natalia Vikhlyantseva (vs. King) at 2.08 with Bet365
Aryna Sabalenka (vs. Collins) + Daria Gavrilova (vs. Sorribes Tormo) + Kiki Bertens (vs. Kr.Pliskova) at 1.93 with Bet365
Diego Schwartzman (vs. Delbonis) + Barbora Strycova (vs. Lao) + Fabio Fognini (vs. Mmoh) at 1.95 with Paddy Power
Backing a lot of reasonably big favourites isn't particularly difficult, but these picks aren't completely mindless, so there you go. Smyczek has been rather dreadful recently and I'm afraid that the end of his career might be near, Radwanska looked decent against much tougher opposition in recent weeks, Robin Haase has played himself into some solid form (and McDonald's desperate performance against Edmund doesn't inspire any confidence either), Vania King has played pretty much no successful singles in this season, Collins was desperately poor out there in recent weeks (I saw the match against Yastremska and I was shocked actually), Gavrilova nearly upset Sabalenka and SST is two steps down, Kr. Pliskova has been largely non-existent lately, etc. As always, it'd be a bit lucky to see all these guys deliver, but I'm hoping that we get only one letdown in this batch.

Nicolas Mahut to beat Tommy Robredo at 2.01 with Pinnacle
Nicolas have shown enough on hardcourt lately to give me the belief he can win here and he was in the US open third round last season so he's got a lot of points to defend. Without qualifying for US open Nicos season will be ruined. Tommy is still not going up in my book just because he's beaten Henri Laaksonen and Greg Barrere.
Casper Ruud to beat Daniel Elahi Galan at 1.52 with Pinnacle
Casper can play better on hardcourt than Daniel and I think he will show it tonight. He's also beaten Daniel on clay in straight sets and now on hardcourt I think should Casper win again.

Young play very good in Washington ,now he beat 2:0 Moraing and I believe he can be in US open . Bolelli lose 3 times with underdogs and in QF to US Open he had problems with Neuchrist.  See that there is no form and Young can use it to his advantage

Good luck Czech Punter and all.  I'm experienced tennis bettor and sometimes pretty legit.. I always wanted a forum here for tennis .. seems its kicking off nicely.  I like your parlay above.  But more so especially Bouchard .. she rolled in early qualies.. never heard of their opponents.
I'd have busta as a slight favorite at around -125 to -115.  I think that is a fair price.. And I think the book is playing games with bettors by listing Chung overpriced.. Busta is the more accomplished player and higher ranked in the prime of his career.. so why is he a dog ?

Ekaterina Makarova to beat Karolina Pliskova at 2.62 with bet365
Ekaterina can always be a hard opponent to face and I think Karolina isn't as good as previous years. She's been bad since she became no.1 for that short period at the top. Ekaterina has always given her best in Connecticut and Karolina doesn't have the best of records in Connecticut. I suspect a small upset may be on the cards here.

Sam Stosur to beat Aryna Sabalenka at 2.75 with bet365
Aryna has had two busy weeks playing good tennis and thanks to that she has reached as high as rank no.25 but now she could be tired and Sam is probably quite ready for this one and I see her able to win this match. Sam lost to Camila Giorgi in the qualies and got in as lucky loser but that may only help her and she has 2 semis and a quarter in New Haven through the years and Aryna should not want to waste to mutch time in New Haven ahead of US open where she's even seeded. I think there's advantage Sam here and a good price on the lucky loser and as we all know lucky losers can always be dangerous and under these circumstances I think it's worth trying Sam to win. Void if Aryna retires which I hope she wont do ofcourse in the case of a set lead for Sam and being up a break in second set. Not impossible to see Sam winning this one and it's a better price than Anett Kontaveit to win.

Anett Kontaveit to beat Kiki Bertens at 1.95 with Bet365
Chances are that this match won't even go ahead, as it would be very rational for Bertens to withdraw, but, if it does, I'll gladly back Kontaveit at 1.95. She lost a tight match against Kiki a couple of days ago and she's been resting since then, while Bertens has had a fairly tough schedule. With the US Open just around the corner, I don't see her pushing herself too much in New Haven.

    Valencia vs Atletico Madrid
One of the stand-out ties in the opening weekend of the La Liga fixtures is being played this Monday night in a 7pm kick-off at the Mestalla where two of the biggest clubs in Spain begin their league campaigns. Valencia hosting Atletico Madrid in an early indicator of how seriously these two sides can be considered as title rivals to Barcelona and Real Madrid this season.
Marcelino led Valencia to their first Champions League group stage campaign since 2015/16 last season with a top four finish. It was also their highest league finish since 2014/15. It's encouraging for the club that has struggled over the past few seasons to settle down and find some consistency. Is Marcelino the man to take them to the next step?
Diego Simeone's men might have something to say about that early doors. Their impressive win against Real Madrid after extra-time in the UEFA Super Cup has made everybody sit up and take notice. The summer signings plus the ability to keep hold of the likes of Antoine Griezmann, Diego Godin, and Jan Oblak has seen them bring together a very strong squad for this season. So the midweek result really wasn't a total surprise.
Opening games are always tough to call. Atletico have the advantage in head-to-head meetings over recent years with Simeone's side winning five of the last six. Going to the Mestalla is never easy and even tougher for an opening game. However, I just feel this is set up for Atletico to start with a gritty narrow win on the road to solidify their reputation as the real deal as La Liga title contenders this season. I may regret not tipping the draw but I just feel Atletico are too strong this season.

Madison Keys (-1.5 sets) to beat Aryna Sabalenka at 2.20 with bet365
Good enough price for me on Madison to edge this in 2, Aryna has been very busy and should have big problems with Madisons serving performance as she's been simply awesome.
Amanda Anisimova to beat Elina Svitolina at 3.75 with bet365
I can see Amanda beating Elina at least 3/5 times on this surface in the US. I think she's acctually got a more promising career ahead of her with winning a few grand slams and other big tournaments. She's turning 17 at the end of august and it's just a matter of time before she's top 100 and has won a title.
Paolo Lorenzi (-1.5 sets) to beat Tommy Robredo at 2.30 with bet365
Not the best of prices on Paolo to win this in straights but at home in Italy in a challenger event with the form Paolo has atm I think he can win this in straight sets at least 4/5 times. Tommy has dropped down significantly in his level of play. Seen him on livestream once already this year, against Calvin Hemery in Marrakech and that was simply an awful performance by Tommy and I expect more of it today. Paolo has played quite ok lately. They've met once before and then Paolo won 6-4 6-4 in Viña del Mar, Chile 2013 so why not something similar today.
Zdenek Kolar to beat Mate Valkusz at 1.95 with bet365
Mate is a 20 year old hungarian player while Zdenek is a 21 year old czech player and I judging by the rankings and their probable level of play I think Zdenek is the better player here. Mate is probably being a bit overrated after successfully qualifying and beating Goncalo Oliveira 6-4 6-4 and Markus Eriksson 6-0 6-1. He's good Mate Valkusz but not good enough for a challenger semifinal. Zdenek also has progressed in the tournament without dropping a set so I don't see what makes him the small underdog here.

I think she's better then Elina is many aspects of her game.

    Tennis Black Friday
    Hello Everyone,
Well....you guessed it right. I am the pioneer of Tennis Black Friday perhaps borne out of a lack of something better to do....or maybe just easily coined out of pure undiluted thought and imagination. However, it is what it is. Black Friday come early. I came up with this idea just pondering over the numerous rain delays that have plagued tournaments in the last week or so causing stress and hectic schedules to players and most of all creating huge opportunities for punters.
The effect of matches being stopped and started ultimately leads to inconsistent and uncertain outcomes in various permutations of expectations. Players become frustrated and confused from not knowing when they are playing or from suddenly being faced with the prospect of playing two long matches in one day. The bookies on the other hand lose track of their pricing methodology and do not really know how to price up certain players. Out of the resulting confusion bookies like Paddy Power already reknowned for their dodgy behaviour of manipulating numbers, blank their inplay screens as their once dependable faculties begin to buffer.
Collectively in enjoying the fun of Black Friday, we can all come together as one potent unit (lol) to open our eyes like hawks looking for bargains and possible power failures. My idea of a power failure is something like this; Sabalenka vs Keys with the amount of games and three set matches and narrow escapes that Sabalenka has already had, despite her scintillating form, she should experience power failure against a very fresh Maidison Keys.
I also think Anisimova will benefit from the continuous mayhem with a bit of confidence drawn from the combination of beating Martic, an extra day's rest and home advantage. Anisimova should win a set and possibly more.
Finally to enjoy the best of both worlds, I have decided to quickly take the day trip to New Haven to wholly benefit from the experience and come back in enough time to join play at Cincinatti. This is where I find my bargain of the day with Maria Mateas standing a more than decent chance of flooring a waning Kristina Pliskova. Okay, lets not be greedy guys. we can take the Mateas 5,5 head start for a confident win. I will look to a big shout from bullish tennis hawks like Czech and Four Leaves (lol) for some more spice. Good Luck everyone and happy Black Friday!!!

    Birmingham vs Swansea
The Friday night game in the Championship this week has an interesting sub-plot with Birmingham manager Garry Monk facing up against his former club Swansea in a 7:45pm kick-off at St Andrew's. Things could be better for both sides be it on or off the field so both teams could do with a win here.
Birmingham have looked livelier than last season but the results just haven't come in the first two league games. A 2-2 draw at home to Norwich was followed by a narrow 1-0 defeat away to Middlesbrough. Granted, it wasn't the easiest start to the season and Monk will no doubt be encouraged that his side have pushed both teams so close but 1 point from 2 games isn't ideal.
Graham Potter has navigated his side past two potentially awkward games against last season's play-off chasers Sheffield United and Preston. It's six points from their first two league games and only Middlesbrough, Leeds, and Aston Villa can boast higher league positions. Not a bad remedy for all the trash going on behind the scenes with the US owners.
This will be a fascinating game to watch. Clearly, something rotten is at the core of Swansea and sympathy must go to their fans. The US owners are showing some audacity by claiming there is limited money available for transfers due to the mismanagement of cash flow under previous regimes... even though Swansea have allegedly been one of the tightest run ships in British football over the past 10-15 years.
In terms of their starting XI line-ups then Swansea have the far superior side here. As the season goes on with injuries, illness, and suspension hitting, the Swans could struggle unless they strengthen. For now, they have enough power to come into this game as slight favourites. Potter has had an excellent start and I can see his side coming away from this game with at least a point. If you're feeling brave you might even want to back the win.

ATP Cincinnati - Outright winner Juan Martin Del Potro @13.00 with Ladbrokes
DP has the ideal game for this.
He holds his serve 90% of the time, is 24/5 on hard courts this year and has gone well recently at the French Open, Wimbledon and most recently in Mexico.
I believe it's all come right for DelPo to take this.
    good luck all

Polansky to beat Aragone at 1.61 and Horansky to beat Vilella at 1.53
    In double @ 2.46
I will not talk much ,they are simply much better than their opponents and in my opinion odds should be lower . Of course Polansky and Horansky are players who have been in shape for a long time and I bet sometimes on them
