I was desperate to oppose Weston but they’ve done me over twice recently and I didn’t want a 3rd but essentially I agree with everything you are saying. The cash will come in handy for you as well given the other teams you are in a title battle with.

Yes, save we have a fair sum from the sale of Ward by Liverpool, and we haven't really touched it yet.

  2. I hate backing odds on but I am adding in us to win at Weston on Sunday lunch. Weston might have picked up a bit in the last couple of games but it is still a team top of the National, with a stingy defence who are capable of grinding out results, against a team rooted to the bottom of the league below. The manager isn't going to play much of a weakened team  (at best one or two rested but on the bench) and knows that this is a decent chance to get to round 2.

Wrexham at a generally available 1.57

Ha ha to be fair the naps have done much better this month! Nearly put your team up but just wonder how seriously you will be taking it. 5/2 would be huge if it was a league game.

Manager is taking it seriously, I believe. For a team with our cup pedigree we've been crap for years and fans want it taken seriously. We also should have won the league game up there. We are possibly a bit light at centre back though. Price is big though.

  4. We were shocking. Penalty for the first followed shirt tugging at a corner and the second from a defensive header hitting another defender and dropping into the path of a striker for a tap in. The sending off? Apparently the Sutton bench didn't think it was a red but themes the breaks.

The surprise was the unchanged team and he has changed it pretty much every week. It was not what a fan would view the first choice strike team but I guess the manager was swayed by the 1st half from last week and stuck with them. We will have an enforced change midweek, unless we appeal the red (it is dealt with by the Welsh FA and they are known to be a bit soft sometimes) but  there will be changes.

  5. Right...quick pick here. Due to unforseen circumstances I couldn't get to Dover at the weekend so took in Maidenhead v Gateshead. Gateshead looked tidy enough but no world beaters but I post here to oppose Maidenhead, who were dire! I know you cannot judge just on one game but any display like Saturday, with a shaky defence and powderpuff attack, sees Solihull Moors a solid bet for me.
