Last day fireworks as @Pankysmoochsomehow finds the 66/1 winner of the Hunter Chase, Premier Magic.
To rub salt in the wound he also selects the 33/1 winner of the County Hurdle, Faivoir. He finishes well clear of the 2nd, @daveg, who also selected Faivoir.
@Redno2009's excellent 3rd day performance ensures he finishes in 3rd place.

Season 3 started quietly with only 20 winning bets, mainly due to several unexpected draws which would have made a good return had anyone picked them!  Bet of the week is from @Xcout with a 6.5/1 treble more than doubling his bank already,   @harry_rag and @Marek76 not too far away from also achieving that with over 3/1 returns.  Division 1 leads the way with a profit.
Week off now for International games and we'll be back with the weekend fixtures starting Fri 31st.  We coud do with at least one more player in Divisions 7 & 8 (and up to 6 more in each) so the competiton remains open until deadline for new entries to join in from week 2 (but we will run as we are if there are no more takers).

I’ll have a go. No penalty for missing week one. You have to play at least 6 of the remaining 9 weeks. You would be out if you missed 3 of those weeks in a row. So a maximum of 4 no shows if you missed week one and 3 other non-consecutive weeks. All subject to ratification by the boss of course, but that’s my take.

We had 2 enormous wins to complete the season with @Marek76 landing a 7/1 half bank treble for a 4 figure win   and @1945harry not far behind with a 12/1 smaller half bank treble.  But bet of the week goes to @dj.orange with a 30/1 treble .  Well done to the 17 who found a winner to complete the season. 
Division 1, @stuboy43 ended with a nice 11/1 treble to jump straight up to the top of the table.
Division 2, top 3 hold on to their places with @Procalc keeping the top spot.
Division 3, @dj.orange's super bet leap frogs him into the top spot.
Division 4, what can I say! @Marek76 keeps the top spot with his 4 figure return but @1945harry and @silver fox both leap up with massive treble wins to push the others off the podium.
Division 5 had a little shuffle round with @przemek taking the top spot.
Division 6, no winners and no big position changing bets so top 3 stay the same with @Wanderlust clear at the top.
Division 7, @daisychain has a win to leap frog over the top 3 into top spot.
Division 8, @Budgie 65 keeps the top spot with @Larkin22 moving up onto the podium.

Brilliant, cheers all, I'll take a look at soccerstats.  Looks like I'll be at home on a snow day tomorrow so I should get season 2 results wrapped up and new Divisions sorted, and I'll make a decision on weeks.  Don't want to go out with a wimper but if we have Prem plus all the Europeans it should work ok.

Premiere League - 12 weeks
Champ. -  12 weeks
L1 - 12 weeks
L2 - 12 weeks
France - 12 weeks
Italy - 13 weeks
Germany - 11 weeks
Scotland - 7 weeks
Spain - 14 weeks

Bear in mind some of those 'gameweeks' are mid-week fixtures.
If we count the next two weekends before the international break,
there are 11 weekend sets in the Prem (5 in April, four in May).
8 in the Championship (2 in March, 5 in April, ONE in May). They're
jamming a lot of matches mid-week.
9 in League 1 (3 in March, 5 in April, 1 in May). Ditto on the mid-weeks.
9 in League 2 (3 in March, 5 in April, 1 in May). Same, same.
Scotland has 5 (ONE in March, 4 in April)
Bundesliga has 11 (2 in March, 5 in April, 4 in May)
La Liga has 10 (2 in March, 5 in April, 3 in May)
Ligue 1 has 12 (2 in March, 5 in April, 4 in May, 1 in June)
Serie A has 12 (2 in March, 5 in April, 4 in May, 1 in June)

I'd suggest one of the following options, having just had a look at the fixtures.
Take a one week break and go again from the 18th of March for a 10 week season ending on the weekend of the 27th May (final week of Prem) with a break for the International weekend 25th March Or take a 3 week break (rather than play a single week before the International break) and start on 1st April for a 9 week season (same end week) Either way, the fixtures are going to thin out as the Scottish and lower English leagues finish a few weeks earlier than the rest.

I'm trying to see how many weeks of games there are left to determine whether we can get another 8, 9 or 10 week season in.  I would prefer to take one week break now to get the results sorted and new Divisions set up if possible, but we might just need to power on through!  There are plenty of weeks left of Premier league games which has rather misled me, but the lower Divisions look like they finish a few weeks earlier.  I can't see the fixtures ahead for the European leagues, can anyone tell me when they run until?  There is an International Break week coming up at the end of this month when only the lower leagues continue so we most likely will need to skip that.
