Nerman is not any worse than Kuzmanov. He could have a better chance to win than his odds suggest. It’s Davis cup after all.

I think about going for Ostapenko +1.5 sets at 1.38 and Rune against Coric at odds of 1.40. Coric's odds went down a bit but I don't think he can upset Rune. Rune is the better all around player with a better touch. If he doesn't make many mistakes, he will go through. Watched Ostapenko's last couple of matches and she seems to be in better form and not so chubby 😀 . Pavlyuchenkova is playing pretty well actually but to make the bet safer only Ostapenko to win a set.
What do you think about Bergs against Cilic at 2.35? I watched Cilic at AO against Maroszan and he is not able to chase many balls around the court. Obviously he still has the power in his shots but his movement on the court is terrible.

Both are decent indoors, both not been in great form. Vekic beat her last time they played. I would have these odds a little closer.

Patrik Kypson to beat Emilo Nava at 2.10 with Mr. Green
Patrik has shown that he's up to whatever challenges awaits him on the Challenger Tour and beating Nava shouldn't be any of his mayor issues really. Looking back I can see why Patrik lost to Nava in their only meeting until today but that was about 3 years ago and lots have happened since then with Kypson. He finally proved his talent last season. Patrik for me. Seems like a nice late night bet.

Wang has been really solid lately, beating Cirstea and Raducanu at the AO, and only losing in 3 vs. Zheng. In this tournament she defeated easily Korneeva and Schmiedlova. She is far more experienced than Volynets, and I don’t see her losing this one.

Diana Shnaider to beat Dalma Galfi at 1.57 with Bet365
I didn't trust Shnaider against Linette, but she proved me wrong, and she looked quite good against Badosa as well, and the latter didn't seem to be particularly limited by her lower back in the early stages of the match. Galfi seems to be the overperformer here, and she should be at least a little bit tired after the previous round.

Crazy match, lots of errors, but Potapova drew this!

I watched both Potapova and some of Elisabetta match.. Errani is playing in her top form, and pushed Potapova. I think the match up is much different now for the Italian, and Potapova will win the match even though her opponent got an easy score line last time out. Fair shout in my opinion, and I think the betting line is pretty accurate considering Potapova is the defending champ, and she looks to be in good enough form to me without injuries.

Andreeva has already played a couple of matches here, while Yastremska is facing a short turn-around time after her dream AO run. Considering how shaky she can be, I think 2.04 is excellent in this spot.

Lin Zhu (-1.5 sets) to beat Taylah Preston at 1.90 with Unibet
Good price I think, Preston is usually well out of depth against top 50 opposition, and Zhu typically does well in Asia. She hasn't actually been doing all that poorly so far in 2024 either, beating Collins and Dolehide.

It's a bit surprising that Linette is back to playing already, which is why I'm taking this with a bookie that voids retirements, but I haven't liked Shnaider for a while now, and she's just too inconsistent from the back of the baseline. The Hua Hin conditions were a bit tricky over the weekend as well, and that can help only Linette.

I don't really see much happening in the women's final, but I am going to go for the "obvious" bet in the men's showdown. I get that Sinner is the favorite, but it's very difficult for me to see him winning 3-0, and the reverse result is even more improbable. Both have shown a lot of fight in Melbourne, and I reckon the pressure will manifest itself once one of them comes within the reach of winning the trophy. Let's hope for a good one!

Back Will Novak Djokovic win the Australian Open? - No at 1.82 with Pinnacle
I'm going to go against most of the forum here, but I'm just not that convinced by Novak. He struggled big time ahead of the Australian Open, and, before that Mannarino beatdown, he had some issues as well. It's going to get tougher from now on, and there are some solid candidates in Sinner, Alcaraz, and co. I'd be surprised, but not shocked, to see him lose against Fritz in the very next round.

Alycia Parks (+6.5) to beat Cori Gauff at 1.79 with Unibet
Parks was hitting a mean enough ball against Fernandez, and she seems to have improved her attitude big time in the off-season. She won't beat Gauff here, but I'd say that the +6.5 line should provide a sufficient head start more often that not.
