Just read this post from start to finish, interesting read. Very tempted in getting a share in a horse now, will have a look around and see what I can find.
Plenty at OG on offer at the minute
Was tempted by Knotty Ash but a 2yo going to Dan Skelton?? not so sure.

After the disappointment of Last Golden Ticket i have decided to go down a different route and gone for a more instant type of horse rather than one with potential.
I had £9 in the VAT refund box so put that towards buying a share in Asdaa who is available at just £43. Trained in North Yorks and hopefully will run on the AW throughout the winter.

Just warming up now, some big winners today

British Grand Prix Take Two:
I honesty can't see this week being much different to 7 days ago, I also dont think it can be as dramatic!!
can't promise to have 5 winning bets either?
I'll wait to see what the weather is going to do and see if anything crops up in qualifying. Might have to resort to match bets this week.

I'm sure we had a long thread like this before ... you know, in the olden days
I seem to remember explaining to someone what 'Penalty Value' meant in the race conditions and also what nosebands were for
And of course we get regular threads asking how the handicap works
Seems like we used to have many more debate or discussion threads or topics in the past.
Yeah, we have had lots Trotter and many of these questions have been asked and answered before but we do have new members so its useful to have it.

3.45 Cart Glen Y Gors 50p win at 8/1
3.45 Cart Zig Zag 50p win at 14/1
Should be fun to watch this race -
The Equaliser, it's funny watching you ask a question or query something and all of the little helpers running around giving you advice and stats.
I wondered why you asked if you could start this thread?
It's a good read anyway

If you are interested in playing in the new season and you have not already been given a place in the new divisions then put your name down here.
Please only apply if you can complete a 9 week season. We had 21 drop-outs last time
This would include NEW members
OR
Player that were eliminated from the last competition (but would like to waste my time again)
Season should kick off in early September, full details will follow asap.
In the meantime have a gander at the rules

Is it still a £1 million race this year
No
QuoteThe prize funds for the Group One Juddmonte International Stakes and the Ebor Handicap, both of which were £1m races in 2019, will drop to £275,000 and £250,000 respectively, while total prize money over the four-day meeting will be £2.27m, a drop of around 57% on last year’s total of just over £5.34m.
Went to the Ebor once many years ago, too many drunken people for my liking
Did the St Leger once only to see if Camelot could do the treble, again its a piss up.
