Re: bbotd wed Good 3.10 - Canford Cliffs - win at 11/8 BOG Bet365 What a race in prospect - I feel like this is a bet to nothing because I'll be well happy if Frankel or Canford win I'm going with Canford as he's provan on this tricky track whereas Frankel has no course experience Also there's no doubting that Frankel was at his least impressive last time out. Two super horses but I reckon it's 50-50 so I'll go with the one at bigger odds

Re: Goodwood Comp Tables and Day 2 Link have you sorted that out bowles ? it's game 13 yesterday when i followed BH's link then logged in i couldn't find the game, but I'd ticked remember me when logging in............so i closed the window and later on clicked on BH's link again and it took me straight to our game........ie when i was already logged in

Cheers !..........at least i know it's not just me, that's always a relief !It doesn't sort them into that particular order for me, but nor does it sort them into the correct order :\ Edit: I tell a lie, I had disregarded the 4 horses you named... it does sort them into that exact same order -

TBH Chris...........I find that Bodugi site very confusing..........I've got no idea how it works.............:p I just follow BH's links..............Top work Trotter and you didnt enter the free £1000 comp neither you would have picked up a few quid on that one aswell!!! lol!!! -
Re: New RP card features Something is bugging me on the RP racecards since the last maintenance closure On the racecard you can click on Draw, Horse Name, OR, Trainer etc and it sorts the card alphabetically or numerically on the field that you choose. Well............it doesn't seem to work now for RPR to sort them into highest to lowest RPR rating Just for an example look at the last race at Goodwood tomorrow......when i click to sort by RPR it sorts them into this order (with RPR) Bahati 96 Askaud 97 Blessed Biata 96 Miss diagnosis 99 then the next horses down in order are rated - 96,97,99, 92,93,96, 99,99,97 and so on............. Don't know what order this is but it's not RPR order Could someone check that last race at Goodwood and try sorting the card by RPR order to see if it's just me ? ps........it's not just that race it appears to be every card.........

Re: BBOTD - Tues 26 July Good 3.45 - Requinto - win at 5/1 BOG Bet365 Irish speedster comes over for the Molecomb Should be well suited by the downhill track and I'd like to seeh blast off and make all. Has a touch of stamina in his pedigree and hopefully won't be fading at the finish Unbeaten at 5 furlongs and has won at Listed level You've got to worry about a Hannon favourite in a 2yo race at Glorious Goodwood but Crown Dependancy has won over 6f and failed to get up over a stiffish 5f on soft ground so i think this might be a bit sharp for him, particularly as he's hit a flat spot in both his outings to date. He's bound to be finishing like a train though..............:loon Hope my fellow is in front and can hold on

Re: Best bet of the day 25th Monday Yarm 3.15 Victorian Bounty - win at 6/1 bog bet365 Useful sprinter who pops up and wins in his turn i think he has a good chance in this small field with the overnight fave a non runner. Only 6 go to post and by my reckoning 4 of them probably want further or at least soft ground and a stiff track to be effective at 6 furlongs. The other runner has been well clobbered for winning a couple of easy ones at Lingfield Several front runners here, including my selection - he went off too fast last time at chester, hopefully today one of the others will give him a bit of a lead and he can outpace this field of relative stayers at sprint trips

Re: New RP card features Cheers mowgli.........the My Notes, My Ratings etc are all available without subscribing, just by registering ! I think the main benefits of subscribing to the basic package appear to be Race Analysis notes and the TS and RPR ratings for each run on the horse form page............plus some odd things like the Forecast SP being available earlier, the Spotlight comments (only Diomed available to non members), list of past winners of the race etc...........

Re: New RP card features I didn't realise there was different packages available..........:unsure I think I might consider joining up, I mean it seems a bit cheapskate to use their services for free. Maybe I'll join up for the start of the AW season in November, I'll check out the different packages !

Re: New RP card features I noticed that owner thing today..........it said 'formerly xxx' On the full race results there's now an icon in front of every horse's name......if you click on it a panel opens with some boxes to tick eg unsuited ground, out of form etc etc plus a box to make some notes. You can 'save' these so they're permanently there for reference. There's the Video Guide for members only On the down side I've noticed that the Diomed comments no longer appear the night before the racing as they used to.............I like those little comments for a quick run through the card I've found myself using the Betting Site for the last couple of days as it includes the things that seem to have disappeared.........

To be honest, I also don't keep a record of my bets although I only have one internet account and do all my betting on that so the record is there stored by the bookie under 'My Account' if i ever want to look at it..........but as long as I can see the total amount in my 'bankroll' and it's more than i put in to start up the account i know I'm in profit and that's all i need to know.............:unsure The 'points' thing is really a matter of etiquette..........one person's 'point' might be a pound, another person's 'point' might be a hundred pounds, but it's not considered the done thing on a forum such as this to start saying 'I had a hundred quid on Workforce'..........it's a bit like telling people how much you earn. We're all equal here regardless of how much we bet...........so you say 'it's a 1 point bet' and that might be one pound or a hundred........but all our 1 point bets are equal on the forum !

Re: Owner strike rates I think it could be an interesting angle if you had some idea of who the 'hands on' owners are Dr Koukash obviously is..........you can imagine him telling a trainer that he's going to Ripon with some of his mates in a couple of weeks, can you enter up some horses that have got a chance. But with owners who don't have an input, it's probably just coincidence if they have good stats at one track, or more likely trainer influence.
