Kemp 7.30 - Honourable Knight - win at 6/1 bog
    Bet365
Very tight little 6 runner handicap with all 6 having course wins, all 6 having Distance wins and 4 having CD wins Honourable Knight was well beaten last time at Wolves (behind my 9/1 BBotD winner !) but generally runs better here at Kempton Two runs ago he won here beating Shirataki by 3 lengths. He's now 3 lbs worse off for 3 lengths but Shirakti is currently favourite for todays race I reckon my fellow can beat him again and at the relative
    odds
    looks a good bet

  3. Re: Best Bet Of The Day Tuesday 20th of March Sou 5.20 - First In Command - win at 11/8 Stan James Comes here in good form with a 2nd and a CD win in his last two starts Has the plum draw in stall one as the middle of the track is usually the place to be The field look poor - full of regressive types, horses with poor fibresand records. The second favourite, Ladydolly, has a couple of good runs here, including a maiden win, but has struggled to win in handicaps off around todays mark My selection has a penalty today but is in form, acts on the track and is well drawn. Must have a favourites chance.

  4. Re: Flat Racing; Monday 19th March

Well i am waiting on it for my double with Theleze' date=' both 7/4.... Doubles are hard to get up, but fingers crossed... :lol[/quote'] Good luck with that one aidy.............. Well done richard with BB I've got Red Shuffle top rated on the figs in the next..........4/1
  5. Re: Flat Racing; Monday 19th March

Good luck Trotter' date=' if the markets are anything to go by, this horse will be very tough to beat. Got 7/4, but did miss the 11/4, The Saint got good value on this. Good luck[/quote'] Having missed the price I decided not to back it.............which probably means it'll win by 10 lengths on the bridle...................:lol
  6. Re: Flat Racing; Monday 19th March 3.50 Kemp - Casual Mover - win (currently 11/8 best odds) Missed the price on this one which was 11/4 last night when I looked at the race. No non runners yet so the shortening price probably reflects confidence in his chance Won a decent race last time at ling, recording a big speed fig. Is lightly raced and looks to be on an upward curve compared to most of his rivals who are pretty exposed handicappers Main market rival, Woop Woop, is coming back from a break and might need the run and looks better over further in any case.

  7. Re: Flat Racing; Monday 19th March

4.20 Kemp - Gower Rules - win at 11/2 Skybet I was hoping for much better odds on this but the overnight favourite is a non runner which has b*ggered the market.................:wall Front runner, should get an easy lead here, drawn in stall 1, has won at the track, has a distance win, 2 lbs below last winning mark, 2nd run back after a longish break and comes out top on the speed figs So........quite a lot going for him ! Against - beaten 16 lengths on his last run (still managed a better lto speed fig than any of the others). Hopefully needed that run after a break and will be fitter today

  9. Re: Question Of The Day Now that I have ATR and RUK I never watch racing on terrestrial TV so from a personal sense I don't really care which channel, if any, it's on However for the wider good of the sport I'm quite pleased that it's all moved to C4. Being even older than BH............:loon..............and having had a break from the sport for 10/12 years from the mid 90s I really noticed the decline of the beeb coverage when i started watching again I was shocked at the Grand National coverage - how it had become just like the X factor with every jockey, horse, trainer, owner having to have some kind of sad back-story to make the thing of any interest to the general Beeb viewer. Then Ascot was all about hats and frocks I thought it was appaling and a million times worse than C4 who at least seemed to be interested in the actual racing Good riddance to the Beeb................. I just think they've given up on sport. Even before they lost the cricket their committment to it was fading - eg they would leave the game every hour to bring news headlines, weather etc.......how annoying was that ! I guess being License Fee funded and with the political parties making it clear that the license fee will not be going up much in the immediate future, allied to the massive rises in sports rights costs (powered by competition in TV) - the Beeb just can't compete any more financially In fact the Beeb has just dumbed down all round - BBC1 is now just like ITV, BBC2 is just like BBC1..........they've even had to give us BBC3 and BBC4 ro replace the original BBC1 and BBC2 which they've let go to the dogs Combination of these things..........lack of ability to compete for rights, dumbing down, lack of interest in sport............well, it's no loss is it that the Beeb have lost racing C4 have always done it better and always shown more committment ,

  10. Re: A Question & Idea Very interesting post, Mr W........... I frankly don't know which members have disappeared off into the world of professional tipping, but I expect most of them will find it very hard as there are probably hundreds of people trying to do the same thing Not sure what you mean by the admin supporting posters who put a lot of effort in...........over the years i've put a lot of effort in and my reward has been my enjoyment at participating in the forum and competitions, and I've won quite a few monetary prizes as a bonus...........but I do it because it's my hobby and i enjoy it

  11. Re: A Question & Idea Must say, mowgli.......as a general rule i don't read the individual threads and I've not really got much intention of starting one myself I might pop into one to say 'well done' if I notice someone has had a big winner on BBotD but I don't read them as a matter of course............. I've also not been posting much lately as I'm on a bit of a break from the relentless form study........I was pretty ill with flu a couple of weeks ago and just went threough a 'coudn't be bothered' stage and fining it difficult to get going again !

  12. Re: Bodugi - £6000 Cash Competition for Cheltenham!

Just found out I won this yesterday!! :) Well worth a pop!
Yes you did !.............well done, that's fantastic magnificent performance with 1500 or so entries..............:notworthy Sorry, I didn't recognise your name as a PL member....:unsure Well, I'm not even going to bother checking todays scores..........started off well with 20/1 2nd in the first then went rapidly downhill..............:lol
  13. Re: BBOTD Thursday 15th of March Wolv 6.45 - Gritstone - win at 14/1 bog bet365 Dual CD winner who returns to the track after a poor run at Southwell - I think it's ok to ignore a poor run at Southwell if it's the horses first outing there. Represents Fahey-Hanagan, has a decent draw and doesn't look impossibly handicapped, 5 lbs above last win, dropped a pound since last run

  14. Re: BBOTD Wednesday 14th of March 3.05 Sou - Kipchak - win at 5/1 bog betvictor Been in cracking form on polytrack, winning it's last two races. Acts on fibresand as well and has won at the track Only gone up a pound for a two length win last time and is still below marks he was winning off around 7/8 months ago Usually front runs and could well get an uncontested lead today - also stays further than todays trip so could step on the gas and not hang around slowing it up in front
