It’s definitely not easy I know that, especially handicaps. I think there’s people out there who do very well on singles. For me singles is your bread and butter .

I thought my 50/1 winner would guarantee me the daily prize but it was not to be as 2 of you, @HERE and @roy keane,  somehow found the 150/1 winner of the first. Very well done.
I was tempted to disqualify @roy keane for using 2,30 instead of 2.30 but thought that might be a bit churlish !
It looks like the rest of us are fighting for 3rd place

That’s flat racing for you.  You don’t know who’s declined or progressed from a year ago, or how good some of these horses are who have hardly raced .  Who’s been hiding away in lower class races ready to grab a big pot at the festival . Tricky business, I prefer races 4 years plus , or 3 years plus isn’t too bad and that’s hard enough.

I have looked at the statistics over the last 9 years and these are my key conclusions.
The stand-out stat is that no horse in stalls 1 to 11 has won, from 78 attempts.
All the winners have won over the distance before. There have been 59 horses that had not won over the distance and they all lost.
The ideal weight is 8st 12lbs to 9st 4lbs with 7 wins from 78 runs and a profit of 45 points at Betfair Starting Price. The remainder have just 2 wins from 77 runs with a loss of 67 points.
