I personally think you should be offered your full stake back or have the option to replace your non runner with another horse.

Yep, competitive race where most have good chance of winning . I agree about magic Saint at Stratford in the hunter chase.

3.40 Newton Abbot Magic Saint 9/2 Decent class 2 race with 2-3 improvers. Light N Strike and Clear The Runway need to prove they can win off their current marks with the former recording a very good time last time out . The selection though is Paul Nichols Magic Saint who’s absolutely thrown in here running in it’s first handicap since earlier in the year last handicap mark 143 now 127. He’s been running in hunter chases for a bit now without pulling up too many trees but this is not as hot as the handicaps he was once used to .Not as good as once was but as I’ve said he really is thrown in and has a good claiming jockey on board to aid the cause a bit more. Interesting race. 5 points win

I thought the ground looked a bit testing. Post race they have changed the going to Yielding to Soft from its pre race going of Good/ Yielding in places . The horse wouldn’t have liked that at all and it showed as it was pulled up. Will come down the weights for that and definitely keep an eye on where he goes next . Needs Good ground.

Roscommon 7.48 The Big Chap 7/4 Seems to have improved this year. Won two runs back off 107 and came a very good third off 114 last time out where he finished strong after being short of room turning in for the bend. The second in that race is now rated 122 and the selection was giving him 9Ibs that day for being beaten 1 length. Runs off 116 today minus the claimer leaves him running off 109 and I think he’s the pick at the weights in which is a very tight race. If he can improve or run to the level he did last time he’ll be bang there. 5 points win
