Must say I think it’s very hard to find the measure of how much a 2 or 3 year old will improve or regress in these stakes races on the flats

Just glancing through the jump cards for tomorrow and Methodtothemadness jumps out so I’ve rated it and he comes out on top which I’m glad about . Goes well fresh , had excuses last time and also has a decent 5Ibs claimer on board which has her racing off 110 if you include the claim. Won off higher and I think she’ll take all the beating Perth 4.35 Methodtothemadness 3/1 5 points win

Maybe , but I just find the better class races stand up a bit better. There’s some decent class racing during the summer it’s just not as regular . The class 4 and 5 races tend to be a bit more over the place regarding form. I don’t tend to go below class 3 but sometimes do if trying to find a bet.

Lost Time to move away from the lower class jump racing I think and move on to the flats now it’s well underway. Will concentrate only on class 3 and above for jumps from now on. A running total will continue but obviously selections are going to be sparse until things heat up again in October. Flat selections will be used in lucky 15s small stakes and a separate running total will be used for that . P/L jump season start date 8th October 2022 + 4.17

Has this got to be used everyday to participate? Thinking of using my flat selections in a lucky 15 but it wouldn’t be everyday I’d be able to put up a lucky 15. Just a bit of fun for the flat festivals and weekend meetings really.

Also adding Ronald Pump who runs at Kilbeggan 6.45 Out of sorts at the moment but it wasn’t all that long ago he was racing in some hot races and running well. His recent form isn’t as bad as it looks if you look past the last two races . Now running off 140. He’ll probably bomb again but that’s why he’s 18/1 and at that price I’ll have a little tickle . 5 points win
