  3. Uttoxeter 2.25 Get Up Mush 27 5/2 1st Envious Editor 26 11/2 placed Begin The Luck 26 13/2 Steppenwolf 24 14/1 I’ll leave alone Get Up Mush at that price in such a big field . 1 point win Envious and Begin
  4. Richard I think playing all 3 is a good way to showing profit long term. If the ratings are solid which yours are then you’ll surely see profit long term. Plus you’ll nail the odd big winner. I’d avoid too short odds though. What you thinking minimum odds 2/1 where you break even if you play 2 points X 3 or 5/2 gives you profit . You could just say nothing lower than 3/1.
  5. Yes the clock doesn’t lie does it . Even the going stick indicates there was no soft ground involved. Horses ain’t machines they can have off days like world class footballers have off days .
  6. https://www.racingtv.com/news/obrien-unhappy-with-ascot-ground-after-auguste-rodin-falters The commentators yesterday mentioned that the ground seemed to be softer than described and some horses weren’t travelling. When I did my ratings I rated it as Good ground not G/F . I used the going stick measurements on Turftrax .
  7. I’ll watch it shortly . You are possibly right as some of the going descriptions given out are not very accurate. Fine margins are everything in racing especially the flats.
  8. It’s previous race at Ascot was on Good/Firm where he finished a well beaten second.
  9. I watched his last race . Was bang there for most of it in ground not suited.
  10. Yep learned nothing from that race apart from the fact it suited the only horse that had won over 6f so the sprint finish suited him.
  11. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a flat race start off so slow. Makes a mockery of the money and Group 2 status .
  12. That last race was ridiculous. For a moment I thought it was ran over a 4 mile slog .
  13. 2.40 York Trefor 29 4/1 Bergerac 28 17/2 Silky Wilkie 25 5/1 These 3 bit clear of the rest and at the prices Bergerac is the bet . 2 points win
  14. It’s picking the right ones. Some have no right being odds on. Some van still offer value at odds on.
  15. I’ll put this up see how it goes. I rated it this morning but no more bets today York 5.30 Charencey 26 7/2 The Cookstown Cafu 25 6/1 Patontheback 24 12/1
  16. Well that’s a bugger . I had the 3.20 at Uttoxeter as Hiconic 26 Police Academy 25 Liverpool knight 24 Left it alone as Hiconic only had a 9% chance of winning. He won at 16s although I’d have only got 11s as that’s all he was this morning. I know I know no good posting after the event but that’s annoyed me
  17. 4.50 Ascot Bopedro 25 9/1 Tolstoy 23 6/1 Obelix 23 11/1 2 points win Bop
  18. 3.00 Ascot Aalto 29 13/2 Carrytheone 26 9/2 Fresh 26 9/1 2 points win Aalto
  19. Next time you have 4/5 winners can you let us know which ones beforehand so I can bang then in a lucky 15/31
  20. 3.00 Ascot Final Watch 24 13/2 ( my odds 7/1) Red Maids 24 7/1 ( my odds 7/1) Zouzanna 22 3/1 ( my odds 8/1) Tadreeb 22 20/1 ( my odds 8/1) I’ll take the 7/1 on Red Maids and also can’t let Tadreeb go at that price . 1 point each .
  21. Rated a few races this morning with the 4.10 at Ascot being the more Interesting one 4.10 Ascot Individualism 24 3/1 ( my odds 6/1) Saratoga Gold 23 25/1 ( my odds 7/1) Moel Arthur 23 33/1 ( my odds 7/1) Millers Spirit 22 12/1 ( my odds 15/2) I’ll play 1 point each on Saratoga and Moel
