  1. Tsitsipas ?? leads 7-4 in the head-to-head against Zverev ??

The German won their most recent encounter at last week's Madrid Open in three sets.

I know the high altitude helped Zverev in Madrid, but Sascha is hitting the ball very well in Rome as well, so I'm going with him taking at least one set today. I think he can also win the match, reach the big final and even beat Novak in the end.

  2. Unreal achievement. A living legend. Surely has to be BBC Sports Personality of the Year in December unless England somehow wins the World Cup - inevitably Harry Kane would be in the spotlight for the prestigious award.

Ronnie is officially in the same bracket of elite legends of sport as Roger Federer, Usain Bolt, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan etc.

Is he the most prolific sportsman we've ever seen so far? I would say YES.

I think Trump is bang in trouble. Yes Williams played out of his skin, but Trump still had chances in some of the frames he didn't win and if you don't take them then of course you can get punished and especially at this level. Should be a tense finale and a final frame decider wouldn't surprise me now, which would be remarkable given some of the leads that Trump has held. If Williams manages to win then this'll be one for the ages.

Trump has youth on his side though...and the stamina to last the course. Last night's heroic effort from Williams might take a toll on him today. All I'm saying is that all prospects are open.

Delighted he's finally won a big match against the tournament fave. Hope he can keep it going against John. I'm rooting for a Mark/Ronnie final but would be magic to have Judd vs Jack however fantastical that idea might be! We'll probably end up with a Yan/Maguire final?

    Yan vs Ronnie final ?

  5. Judd Trump after his win over Vafaei : "I think my cue action is one of the worst on tour".

That's a rather shocking statement by Judd, wow. Worst? He could have said "unorthodox". Personally I won't be surprised if he wins his Quarter or even reach the final. We all know he's out of form and perhaps he's feeling mentally drained, but he certainly possesses all the skills required to taste the glory of ultimate success at the Crucible again.

Can't find the frame scores anywhere(for Maguire), the McGill match is also a worry for the century bet! The -1.5 must have been for the session you would have thought...

The bet must have been just for the session surely?

No, turns out it was a huge mistake. Glad I took advantage of it. ??

True. I'm not sure but I'd guess he was in better form ahead of those 3 wins though.

Yeah but I mean, a player who's in bad form for an extended period of time isn't necessarily doomed to remain in this bad form. Also, let's not forget that this is a very prestigious and glamorous Masters 1000 event. I feel pretty sure that Tsitsipas and Zverev are cruising past Djere and Carreno Busta respectively today. Let's see what happens.

Linda Fruhvirtova to beat Ana Konjuh at 2.00 with Bet365

I don't trust Fruhvirtova to be a strong favorite yet, but she's the underdog against Konjuh, who was struggling physically in her most recent matches and who's on a poor streak in any case. Fruhvirtova will have to calm down from all the adrenaline, but, if she does, she will beat Konjuh I feel. At 2.00, this looks worth a shot to me.

    Linda delivers ?

  10. Who else fancies Jessica Pegula winning a set (or even the match) tonight? So many consecutive straight set victories for Iga... I feel she's bound to drop a set. Jessica was the winner (5-7, 6-4, 6-1) on their only encounter so far in Washington (Summer 2019). On the other hand, Swiatek is fearless and very confident these days... Anyway, at 2.4-2.45 there is value I can not pass up.

    Good luck.
