  1. Anna-Lena Friedsam to beat Sofia Kenin at 3.25 with Parions Sport

I don't like to bet against Kenin because even when she plays badly and her opponent deserves the victory, she managed to win by I don't know by what miracle. However, you are getting to know me now and you can easily imagine that I will not pass up on such an attractive odd, especially in a period when luck smiles on me. In addition, I am hopeful that the German will win her 1st WTA title of her career given the level of power and mentality she has shown here from the start. If she dominates the pressure due to this final by continuing to offer her game that is both aggressive and varied, she will be able to defeat the American who suffered throughout this tournament being saved by her lucky star many times..

  2. Viktoria Kuzmova to beat Anna-Lena Friedsam at 2.40 with Parions Sport

Friedsam was very impressive in power and aggressiveness against Mladenovic while managing the stress of having the public against her. However, as I said before, Kuzmova seems to be at a descent level again and has already beaten the German in the same conditions in straight sets at Linz in 2017. It is certainly a risky bet because the Slovak's level wasn't as high as her opponent of the day but in women's tennis everything is possible and sometimes you just have to follow your guts without thinking too much.. :hope

  3. Anna-Lena Friedsam to beat Kristina Mladenovic at 2.40 with Parions Sport

Friedsam seems to be gradually returning to her best level (45th) for almost 1 year after having suffered of multiple injuries. After winning an ITF title last September, she managed to beat Bencic in Linz before being eliminated by Rybakina (in 3 sets despite everything). For her part, Mladenovic seemed rather feverish against Pasquet while she is usually comfortable facing her compatriots (1 defeat in 9 matchs). The odd of the German is logically high because she has already lost against the French on grass 4 years ago and because she is much lower ranked but I think that her striking power will do a lot of damage on i.hard & we could see a totally different revenge here.

  4. Viktoria Kuzmova to beat Tereza Martincova at 2.45 with Parions Sport

A bet a little daring when we see the shape of the Slovak for some times but Im hopeful that she will regain her best level soon and why not starting here with 2 first opponents relatively below her potential level. We must not forget that she was at the gates of the top 40 not so long ago and if she manages to regain confidence in her serve she can go far in this tournament.

  5. Lara Arruabarrena to beat Yafan Wang at 2.50 with Parions Sport

The Chinese has lost her last 5 games including an early elimination in straight sets in the 1st round for her title defense at Acapulco which should put pressure on her shoulders for her entry into this tournament. For her part, the Spaniard played well in the qualifications by beating Inglis and Dolehide without losing a set. I count on her good defensive play and her counter attacks to make the exchanges last and to push the Chinese in lack of confidence to make mistakes.

  6. Yulia Putintseva to beat Belinda Bencic at 2.05 with Parions Sport

The h2h is 3-1 in favor of Putintseva.

Bencic is miraculously here after a match far from being at the level of a top10 player against Kudermetova. Her frustration seems to have contaminated the Russian who was however very comfortable with her service, even succeeding a few aces on her 2nd. But as often (hence my hesitation to bet on her) the young Russian made too many enforced errors by wanting to play too much with the lines instead of keep it simple and on top of that she missed many easy points ( some REALLY easy lol).

On her side, Putintseva took revenge for her Fed Cup defeat against Mertens by eliminating the defending champion (yet in good shape) in 3 sets after losing the 1st set (4-6/6-3/6-2). The mental and especially the service of the Kazakh are clearly above the Swiss right now and I see her eliminated this one in straight sets like last year in Miami. I still chose a simple victory because the odd is high enough for me to take more unnecessary risks.

Both matches are interesting. Bublik played very well the last week and Hurkacz is playing really bad... The problem here is that Bublik is crazy. If he plays focused i have no doubts he can win but it's impossible to know because he's crazy (he even said the last week that he doesn't like to play tennis and he only does for the money). Bencic also is in a bad moment and Kudermetova did well in Dubai so... I don't want to choose one of them but I have to say that both look good.

Thank you for having answered me so quickly, I will choose Kudermetova which was my 1st idea but it's always good to have one or more external opinions :ok

  8. Ricardas Berankis to beat Nikoloz Basilashvili at 2.15 with Parions Sport

H2H is 2-0 for the Lithuanian, the last match was in 2014 at the Challenger of Andria where Basilashvili gave up in the 2nd set after losing the 1st 6-4. Berankis has been on an upward slope since the beginning of the year, he arrives in Dubai after a semi-final lost in Pune against Vesely (who lifted the trophy after) in a very close match with 3 tie breaks. In contrast, the Georgian won only 2 matches shyly this year and doesn't seem to me fully recovered from his elbow surgery done at the end of last year.

  9. Jennifer Brady to beat Alison Riske at 2.00 with Parions Sport

It will be the 3rd meeting between the 2 Americans who have won a match each. Despite what the bookies think, I don't see how Riske can beat Brady here after the level she showed last week in Dubai. She was eliminated in the 1st round by Jabeur and even if she took 1 set her level was far from convincing me, which was confirmed by looking at her stats after the match (34 unforced errors, 11 DF). On the contrary, Brady comes out of a big tournament where she eliminated 3 seed players (Hsieh, Svitolina, Muguruza) before being defeated in the semi-final by Halep who lifted the trophy then.

  10. SaiSai Zheng to beat Marketa Vondrousova at 3.30 with Parions Sport

It will the 2nd meeting between these 2 players, Vondrousova leads 1-0 (on grass).

Vondrousova underwent wrist surgery towards the end of last year is now behind her after making an impressive comeback with a quarterfinal in Brisbane. However, she has only won 1 match since against a bad Sevastova during the 1st round in Dubai last week. Zheng is no slouch on hard courts, she pushed rising star Rybakina in Shenzhen a couple months ago & she could be a tricky opponent for Vondrousova who isn't at her best right now.

  11. Brandon Nakashima to beat Yoshito Nishioka at 2.45 with Parions Sport

This 2 players never faced each other before. Nakashima surprised everyone the day before yesterday by beating Norrie in 2 sets (7-5 / 6-2). The young American talent plays without pressure in front of his audience and it shows in tennis. Nishioka is not an opponent to underestimated , on the contrary, but I expect him to suffer enormously from American's firepower then abdicate at the end.

  12. Elena Rybakina to beat Petra Martic at 1.71 with Parions Sport

It will be the 1st meeting between these 2 players. Despite the fact that Martic is playing pretty well in this tournament, I don't see how she can beat Rybakina here. Indeed, the Kazakh is on fire since the beginning of the year and could already reach her 4th final of 2020. Neither the defeat against Bertens for the title in Saint Petersburg, nor the accumulated tiredness seem to disturb the young prodigy in Dubai . She eliminated Kenin, Siniakova then Pliskova by losing only 1 set against the American during her 1st match. I watched her match against the Czech 2nd seed, she seemed very serene and sure of her tennis despite her young age. I was very pleased with the composure she showed to save 9 break points. She is solid in difficult moments and knows how to show her best moves to get by, thanks in particular to her powerful serve which continues to improve over the tournament, 80% of success on her 1st serve and 11 aces against Pliskova.

  13. Simona Halep to beat Aryna Sabalenka at 2.05 with Parions Sport

This 2 players clashed 3 times before, Halep leading their h2h by 2 games to 1. The Romanian won her 2 games in 2018 at Shenzen and at the Cincinnati Open, but it was Sabalenka who came out victorious from the last months meeting in Adelaide.

During Halep last match, she went ahead and had 2 match balls that Jabeur saved then it was the Tunisian turn to have her match ball before Halep's form returns when she needed it most allowing her to win the following 3 points to win the match). Despite that, I hope this fright will be enough to take her to the next level. Sabalenka seemed to me a little feverish against Sakkari and the Romanian suppporters who came in numbers to support their champion will not help her to play at her best level.

  14. Jiri Vesely to beat Brandon Nakashima at 1.75 with Parions Sport

It will be the 1st time between these two players. You have to go back to 2014 to see Vesely participate this ATP 250 in Delray Beach. The Czech failed to pass the 1st round (3-set loss to Baghdatis). Nakashima will play this tournament for the 1st time in his career.

Nakashima, 295th in the world, received an invitation from the organizers. This 18-year-old American is starting to be talked about in the Challengers. He notably managed to beat Harrison and Tomic in Dallas earlier this month, and take a set from Tiafoe in the same tournament. Well, they are indeed 3 players far from their best level, but still. Vesely is the logical favorite to win this meeting. It must be said that he came out of an excellent tournament in Pune (he lifted the trophy) which allowed him to build up confidence.

However, it is important not to underestimate his opponent of the day. Nakashima seems to be very receptive to public support. Playing at home should therefore allow him to play transcended. The guy has a good 1st ball and an aggressive forehand that could tickle Vesely's sometimes feverish backhand when he plays it crossed (Vesely is left-handed). We must also highlight the fact that the American knows how to be regular in trade, which could well crack the Czech more than once (Vesely is indeed led to make a lot of mistakes when he is not in a good day). Now, I think Vesely will manage to make the necessary efforts to get out of this trap. His power will no doubt have a role to play in this meeting. Nakashima can have difficulties when the balls are fast, and the current 72nd should be able to play on that to gain many points. Experience should do the rest.

  15. Alizé Cornet to beat Maria Sakkari at 1.80 with Parions Sport

H2h is 2-0 for Sakkari but if the French woman has to beat her one day it is here and now considering the surgical victories that she has acquired in Saint Petersburg. For her part,  as I expected, the Greek made me a bad impression during her last match against Diatchenko.. She conceded 17 break points to the Russian and can be happy that this one lost her abilities with her service (16 DF) after winning the 1st set without incident.. I've seen a lot of frustration in Sakkari's game so if Cornet play at 70% of what she has done since the beginning it will be enough.

  16. Xinyun Han to beat Qiang Wang at 8.15 with Parions Sport

This bet seems crazy and it probably is, but surprisingly Han leads 4-1 in the h2h. Note that Wang's only victory was acquired on retirement in 2015. All the matches took place under the same conditions in Asia so a new miracle is possible. I think that a SMALL coin is worth putting and thanks to Dimitrov's easy victory yesterday I can afford to loose this kamikaze odd without any pain..
