@MCLARKE Do your place bets make money on their own account? I don't like place betting but I read once that one can make money if place money is put on races with precisely 8 or 9 runners; don't know if this is true?

@MCLARKE Many thanks and point taken regarding using two bookies with better odds for singles and of course if you get BOG as well then this will produce better results for your singles.
I have meant to record the effect of backing singles as well as my doubles. If I get time I will backtrack for September.
I am pressing on regardless with my doubles; however, I will choose 5 of my best selections for the £20 challenge and choose 10 mixed doubles to cover all combinations.
