Re: Lay Of The Day - Bank Holiday Monday 5.05 Chepstow - First Term (LAY) Had his three runs and on his handicap debut. Has recent turf and distance form, which is great for laying in a 3yo race. Has a regressive profile: made a good effort on his first ever run, then made zero attempt on the subsequent two. About half the field has been rested since last season and could be anything, and those with recent runs have performed markedly better than him. There is always the chance of improvement with unexposed runners like this one, but even so I figure he should be roughly double the going odds, currently 7.6.

Re: Lay Of The Day - Bank Holiday Monday 5.10 Warwick: Lost Horizon 1pt win lay Outstanding lay price at the minute IMO at 2.7 on Betfair. 3 attempts to date, one on fast ground where ran really well and on that run sets the standard, but other two runs (inc LTO) were seriously disappointing and came on soft ground. Soft ground today and a strong contender from the Stoute yard in opposition - has lay written all over it!

Re: Lay Of The Day - Bank Holiday Monday 335 Chepstow: Istidlaal Stoutes horse and only had one run last season when 9th of 10. They make it second fav today, purely on the trainer and many others in the race have similar profiles, should be at least 8's so happy to lay.

Re: Lay Of The Day - Bank Holiday Monday 425 windsor- kings song ok he pulled well clear of rest of field but has burnt plenty of fingers recently Moore was riding one handed at one point to try and get him on straight and narrow but failed his attitude failed to impress me and if doing same thing today he looks a goodd value lay it may just be a case moore hit front to soon on him but im not convinced!! 1pt lay kings song

Re: Lay Of The Day - Bank Holiday Monday 3.00 Kemp - Kylladie - win lay Has been running over 6 and 7 furlongs for all his career until last time out when he dropped to 5 furlongs and won That was on soft ground on turf and i reckon this sharp 5 round the bend on poly might not suit him Maybe he needs soft ground to be effective at the minimum trip. Beaten horses from that winning race have come out and been beaten since, so the form hasn't been franked Fancy the top two in the handicap, both coming back from breaks, might provide the winner
