The Quiet Man Posted March 25, 2009 Share Posted March 25, 2009 Been criticised in the past for not posting in here so I'll see what the response is!:unsure Never had this before...AA 3 Hands in a row and just at the right time. The trouble is, you need to make the maximum amount of chips so did I play it right or wrong? 1st Hand....SB/BB is $300/600...how do you bet? Hand 2....not so easy...until someone with big stack goes all-in?:ok And hand 3....do you bet bigger to pretend to steal....my feeling was to feign weakness after being called raising after the flop....was this correct?:unsure Cheers for looking TQM Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

AA three times in a year and I'm happy bunny (or hornet):ok I think it is easy to think when you get big hands close to one another to slow play the latter ones. I'd say the opposite is true as no-one is going to give you credit for another hand. For my money your pre-flop play was consistent and gave nothing away (hence getting K8 to call in hand 3), hand two kind of played itself post flop but your min raise got the Queens to re-raise, and you slowed down a bit on hand three IMO quite correctly. Second one worked out perfectly. Third one, standard 3xBB raise, villain called, and as for post-flop that was one scary board there and you don't want to undo the good work of the previous 2 hands so.... ubermonkey1 Posted March 27, 2009 Share Posted March 27, 2009 Re: How do I play AA 3 hands in a row? yeah cant see a lot wrong really. hand 1 your unlucky to get no callers but maybe the raise helps in hand 2:unsure hand 2 is perfect,other big hands involved that are really dominated ,like the min raise as it gives someone the chance to make a mistake by calling or pushing. hand 3 maybe ida played a little harder from the turn onwards,the q/no club makes his hand look stronger to him . so he may well have called a 3-4k bet , i guess that would have put him on the spot on the river if you put it all in, as we dont know his stack size i cant be sure but i guess at least half his stack would be in the middle by the river:unsure Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Never got any other PP at all. 1st one was in the 2nd/3rd hand. Blinds 10/20, I raised to 80 just to try entice some action but no takers. 2nd one (against Pete), Blinds were 25/50 (I think), Pete raises, I re-raise and he calls. He checks flop and I go all in. Pete folds (10 10 I think he said). 3rd one, 2 or 3 hands later, I raise 5 x BB, get a caller. Flop comes x88, I bet 1/2 pot and other guy calls. K on turn, I bet 1/2 pot again, he calls K on river. I check (fearing he has K) and he checks as well. Can't remember what he turned over, but it didnt beat AA. 4th one, before the break, Out of position and Wurzel has BB of 150. I raise to 1050, folds round to worzel, he gives an exclamation of "OI" and then folds. 2 or 3 hands after break, I go out when going all in looking to draw a straight.
