2.10 Southwell Victor Daly won over course and distance in April last year and has won three of his six starts over fences. He is making his seasonal reappearance here so his fitness has to be taken on trust, but he has gone well from mini-breaks before which offers a bit of hope and he looked progressive last year when winning three handicap chases. The Jonjo O'Neill and Alan King runners are likely to dominate the betting but neither has yet won over fences and hopefully they will be overhyped and allow Victor Daly to go off at a decent price. 8/1 forecast on SL. 1 pt win

Is probably the best horse in the field to cope with the ground has won over heavy ground before just under a year ago so no worries on ground and drop in trip sure to suit! win fortyfivedegrees

His runs behind Imsingingtheblues, Pop and Oumayade are different class to anything the opposition can bring to the table, just need to forgive him his run behind Planet Of Sound. Hopefully the price wont be too short.

Re: Best bet of the day - Sunday 15th March 2.20 FONTWELL Santia Should take all the beating on these terms, having capped a decent start to her racing career with a win in a better race at Ascot lto. The form is relatively strong from that but her penultimate start when finishing just a neck behind a horse now competitive off a mark of 140 makes the selection's form even stronger. (Good luck with Victor Daly, that came up as my next best.)

I actually have a link to the owner of Le Briar Soul running in the 4.00 today but not sure i will get the nod or not. It was supposed to run 2 weeks agoo here but missed out, however with Russian Triggers win yesterday, i dont think it can be ignored. Unseated at the 1st LTO, it needs to jump better but i can see it going close today

Re: Best bet of the day - Sunday 15th March Navan 3.00pm 1pt lay Palace Merano From notes LTO horse was steady but has trouble imv of sprinting on near the end of a race,the steady pace which this horse has is its best feature but i think if caught cold by a horse/horses near the end of a race in a sprint for the line it will get beat,LTO steady as you go won for it but today it will be diff. Re: Best bet of the day - Sunday 15th March Fontwell 2-55 Premier des Marais Win Thrown in at the deep end on chasing bow in a grade 2 novice chase. Was travelling ok when fell. Dropped down in class today, presumably for a confidence booster. The presence of runners from the big stables should ensure a decent price.

Re: Best bet of the day - Sunday 15th March Fontwell 4-00 Enrobling Trop Win Narrowly defeated 18 days ago by Russian Trigger over 3m7. The form was boosted yesterday by the midland national win of Russian Trigger. The 7yo is open to plenty of improvement and seems to appreciate a severe test of stamina.

Re: Best bet of the day - Sunday 15th March C4.10 Banoge 1pt Win Won well on its handicap chase debut at this course LTO and clearly enjoys soft ground. The trainer is in form and this is weighted to go close again today. There's also a line of form with Work Boy (a horse which got beaten less than a length today) which suggests that Banoge's easy beating of that horse LTO could be good enough to win this race today.
