Re: Best Bet of the Day ~ Monday 25th August 5.05 kempton --muhannak-e/w -as a good record on the all-weather,never been out the first three,as possibilities on first start for his trainer-tailed off on heavy ground at york last time,so worth a chance on surface he seems to handle so well

Re: Best Bet of the Day ~ Monday 25th August

1.30 Warwick Alphabeth Dropped down in class here and sure to act on ground where others may not. Last time in this class started favourite but got hampered at start and time before he won. I think his wealth of experience will see him in good stead today.

Re: Best Bet of the Day ~ Monday 25th August Alphabeth doesnt run so I will plump for 4.05 Cartmel Green Go 1pt win Completely different class to this field in the past and loves this track. If he retains any ability he will win easily. Any market support would add to his chances it looks like its been trained for this today

Re: Best Bet of the Day ~ Monday 25th August Kempton 4.30

Only six face the starter for this class 3 conditions event over 11f. 9/4 Dansant is respected having won the Winter Derby trial at Lingfield and he’s unbeaten here from two runs, both at listed level. He’s 7 lbs above his previous winning AW mark but those he had behind last time haven’t really gone on since. Dream Lodge won off 92 but neither the 2nd or 3rd have boosted the form by winning, and are sliding down the handicap.

Many Volumes is the joint fav at 9/4 and picked up a listed race at Sandown last time out. He’s ran on the AW once before, finishing 2nd by a neck behind Mutajarred at Great Leighs. He’s running off the same mark as that day and will probably not be far away.

Gravitas makes his AW debut in the UK but has been running well on dirt at Nad Al Sheba. The Godolphin runner finished 4th in a Group 3 last time out but has fitness to proved after a 149-day absence.

Big Robert has been struggling of late and has never run on the AW before. Hearthstead Maison is unraced on the AW too so backers are taking a gamble it handles the surface.

The one which looks great value at the price is Clive Brittain’s Kandidate. There is no doubt that this is an animal that prefers an artifical surface to the turf. His last three form figures read 8,3,7 and he’s come last in two of those races, but that is a very misleading picture of his abilities on the AW as those three runs were on turf. His career AW form reads 21151111, a 75 % strike rate!! It’s not as if those races have been donkey derby claimers at Wolv either, he’s won a listed race on his last AW start and prior to that won a Group 3 at Nad Al Sheba. His record at Kempton is respectable; 3 wins from 3, and having won over 10 and 12f here he should be okay over the 11f they tackle this afternoon. True, he must reverse Sandown form with Many Volumes but Kandidate will prove a much tougher opponent on the all-weather. He runs off the same mark as from his last victory and at 10/1 (Bet >365) looks great value in my opinion. 1 pt win

Re: Best Bet of the Day ~ Monday 25th August Warwick 5-30 ROWAN RIO Has only ran 3 times this year and having won 2 of them at 11's and 16's over 1m2 and 1m4 ,It is back to 1m2 today under no penalty from lto victory i think this will be too strong for these others today.personally i prefer a low draw at warwick and this comes from stall 1.It will be help up and should win this race from 1-2 f out. 1pt Win

Re: Best Bet of the Day ~ Monday 25th August 2.45 Most of the field do not look that well handicapped or in decent form so a chance must be taken with handicap debutant Blow Hole. Was well backed for his debut at Wolverhampton but he could only manage 4th place, running green: 1st Hollander - not seen since 2nd Miletary Power - btn sh, rock solid form since, winning twice, now rated 93 3rd King's Wonder - btn 2.25l, not a fan of this horse but has run ok in handicaps off high 70s marks 4th Blow Hole - btn 3.25l 5th Ancient Cross - btn 7.75l, run well since in handicaps off high 60s marks Wasn't seen for three months after that (yard shut for some of that time), but disappointed on that 2nd start. That was on turf though (US dirt bred) and he was back to form LTO here. He travelled well throughout but was eventually 4th to stablemate Once A Gulch. Mixed messages from the form so far - the 2nd won well at the weekend but the 3rd and 5th were beaten NTO. However Blow Hole definitely looked capable of better. He just has to be backed here off a mark of 72. He well handicapped on what he has already done but given that I think he is better than already shown he could be a handicap snip here. Given he travels well he should cope with the drop to 7f. This will be my biggest bet at Kempton this season. Blow Hole - win

Re: Best Bet of the Day ~ Monday 25th August 305 Hunt: Young Tot Been hunter chasing mostly over the last year and bought by connections to go back handicapping, ran well at MR on his debut for them and now just drops into this 0-100 race. Loves to bowl along in front and this aint a bad track for those tactics, jumps really well and could have most of these strung out down the back straight, whether he holds on is debatable but has every chance on this ground.

Re: Best Bet of the Day ~ Monday 25th August my best bet of the day would be phoenix eye 525 hunt. needs a bit on the book, but race can be run to suit and others have questions to answer. open race but jamie can get tactically aware and go very close on this one. 0.5 pts ew.
