Wouldn't be so bad but I'm attempting a cutoff of 10/1 and the only 12/1 shots I get within 15.00 invariably end up either winning or coming close to:eyes Any ideas how I can weed out these 12/1's and still get a reasonable number of 10/1's? How did you manage to lay a 12/1 shot if you're cut off is 10/1? I assume it dipped under 10/1 so you got a match and then it drifted? If so, there's not much you can do about that but if it's true odds were 12/1 and you layed it at 10/1 then at least you got value and in the long run you should win. Another alternative is if one of your horses comes under your cut-off but then drifts past it again you could trade it and lock in the profit? Trialling the betfair SP to help combat the steamers as I can't be at PC all the time. Max odds were 15.00 which gets most 10/1 horses but also gets some 12/1 horses. Trouble being that it always seems to pick up every (almost every) 12/1 winner within my system and doesn't get most of the losers. All I can think to do is keep reducing my max odds until this starts to happen less frequently even if that does mean missing out on more 10/1 horses. I layed it at 13.08 I think but it's difficult to know what the true odds are for each horse, only as part of a system where 12/1 horses fare badly.
