Key attacking midfielder Burzanovic and captain Milovanovic are both ruled out through injury, Bronowicki is a major doubt! I can't see Groclin taking anything out of this match!Red Star still with lots of scoring problems though...They've again missed some great chances against Partizan at the weekend, but it's getter better, that's for sure...They scored two goals(Koroman 2x) on the day and looked very good and dangerous over 90 minutes in a spectacular match, playing undoubtedly their best football of the season. Super atractive Mauricio Alejandro Molina - Mao was a class act in this match and is almost certain to start the Groclin match as well, especially after his amazing dribblings against 4 Partizan players! Re: UEFA Cup - matches 02/10 - 04/10 Spurs will win @ 1.48, not great odds but as the first leg ended 6-1 there's enough to suggest that within reason whatever side is put out they will get a result. Add to that the fact that at the moment Jol will feel his team need a result from every game and I see a Spurs win by a couple of goals. Elsewhere Ajax to beat Dinamo Zagreb, they achieved a 1-0 scoreline away from home and will want to ensure qualification through a win. At home they are strong and with a good, big scoring win at weekend likely giving them fair degree of confidence coming in to this game. If the above odds are correct then I believe the double will pay out at just over evens. Not a bad bet for what I think is as sure a double as any out there. Dont blame me if you take this tip and it goes wrong but for me it's what I will go for.

The first leg draw was a miracle for metalist, everton missed two penalties and metalist got 2 red cards to important defenders. Now those will not play of course. Mikel Arteta comeback has brought a new spirit of creativeness in Everton and they will not underestimate metalist this time. Winning is a must for them now

Midfield will be likes of Huddlestone, Tainio, Malbranque, Boateng etc. Still will be very good strong 11 and with strikers lookig to impress I see Tottenham winning maybe 3-0

IMO 1.53 price on bayern looks great, bayern won just 1-0 in the first leg but they look very good in the bundes liga, new trio of toni, klose and ribery is clicking on all cylinders and i definitely think they'll have too much for belenenses...and they'll probably attack straight away since they've got only one goal of advantage. IMO a comfortable away win. basel against my home side sarajevo looks like a banker. admittedly, i'm a fan of rival team, but 1-2 result of the first leg doesn't really describe what happened on the court...basel missed countless opportunities for a larger victory and sarajevo scored in last minute of stoppage. sarajevo isn't looking good even in our crappy league, fatigue and short rotation have already taken its toll and i expect basel to win by at very least 2 goals. spartak moscow also looks good at 1.57 against hacken who is just sixth in swedish 2nd league (superettan). gap in class is just too large. also might like roman pavluychenko to score, he's killing it this season scoring left and right both in european competitons and domestic championship.

I'll probably take them to qualify as well at over Evs. I can see them really having a go in the first 25mins and trying to get a goal back. Larissa I dont rate them and would very much like to see Blackburn progress to the group stage as I feel they could be a good outside bet for the UEFA Cup. They have left themselves with an awful lot to do tho it must be said!

Djlion, Braga is a much better team than Hammarby but they screw up "big time" in the 1st leg loosing 2-1. They were a bit unlucky hitting the wood twice but still that's no excuse for them. All the pressure is on them and I expect them to be the only Portuguese club making it to the next round. I'll look at it in more detail but the odd is far too low for a straight bet (around 1.30) and I'm not so sure about an AH bet because Braga are not in the best of forms lately...but they should win. Heerenveen 8/5 , they won the first leg 5-3 and they are a strong dutch side , the team they are playing are struggling in the swedish league i think it is.. Rapid vienna 13/10 , they are near the top of the table and are doing well unlike anderlecht who have 2 pts in the last 3 games ( vienna have home advantage) Everton 8/11 , they are 5th in premiership and the other team are struggling in the ukranian league... first game was 1-1 but everton have bonded more now and yakubu is amazing. AEK athens 5/2 they won 3-0 first leg and are first in greek league while their opponents are lower down their league.(dont ask me why the odds are so high...) FC copenhagen 19/20 they are at home and need the win, they are 1st in their league and lens are near last in french league and lost 3-0 to lyon last week and lyon suck as they lost 3-0 to rangers so it makes it even more funny. take copenhagen to win! They had a 2-0 1st leg win away against a French team who is struggling in the domestic league (Relegation zone) while, although there has only been 3 matches in the Greek League, Panionios are yet to be defeated (2-1-0) 2.20 odds are extremely good for a superior home team.

Also Metalist can afford to lose by one goal or by scoring one, they are almost guaranteed. Possible for 2-0, 4-1, 3-0. But I think unlikely.

Panionios have a full squad and will be playing in front of a full home crowd, while the French team are struggling badly in their league. I put a large bet at Panionios -0.25 just in case of a draw, and it's still paying very close to evens.

Re: UEFA Cup - matches 02/10 - 04/10 Most of my bets as you know are based on form and stats but every now and then I get a “gut instinct “ for a certain outcome and that is the case tonight for me as I expect Blackburn to qualify for the 2nd round of the UEFA Cup which is the group stage. I say qualify as opposed to win the match as Stan James are offering evens for Blackburn to qualify as opposed to the general 1 to 4 about Blackburn winning the game. I was on holiday so missed the first leg when Larissa won 2-0 at home but by all accounts I have read Blackburn were poor on the night and got what they deserved. Tonight I am sure Mark Hughes will get his team motivated for the challenge and I believe a win for them by the margin required is not beyond a side that contains players of the quality of Santa Cruz, Bentley, McCarthy and Matt Derbyshire who in my opinion is a future England international, every time I have seen him play I have been impressed with his movement and finishing and he can have no finer manager to help him develop his game. Blackburn had a mini slump with the defeat to Larissa followed by a home defeat to Portsmouth by 1-0 but they have since beaten Birmingham 3-0 in the Carling Cup and Sunderland away 2-1 in the Premiership and look back on track. Prior to that they had been on a long unbeaten run with good results at Chelsea where they drew 0-0 and at home to Arsenal when they drew 1-1 which has been by far Arsenal’s toughest game of the season so far. Their opponent’s tonight Larissa are currently 8^th in the Greek league after 3 games and come into this match off the back of a 2-0 away defeat to Atromitos at the weekend. They qualified for the UEFA Cup by beating Panathiaikos 2-1 in the Greek Cup Final last season so are not to be underestimated, and they also include in their ranks Ibrahim Bakayoko who Everton fans will remember after he had a short spell with them a few years back, in fact it was he who got the first goal in the match in Greece. I believe if Blackburn can get an early goal momentum will build and they will go on and win the match by the required margin. The UEFA Cup is an event I am sure Blackburn would have expected to do well in this season having gone through the Intertoto Cup to get there and they will not want to exit at this early stage. The other bet I fancy tonight is David Bentley at 8/1 for the first goal. He has been playing well this season and thoroughly deserved his call up to the senior England squad though the treatment he received from so called fans left a lot to be desired. He has shown maturity and has scored 3 times in all competitions for Blackburn this season including 2 in the last 2 games so hopefully he can bag one tonight. So for me it is Blackburn to Qualify for the 2^nd round of the UEFA Cup at evens with Stan James, (remember even an extra time win or penalties makes this bet a winner).

:welcomehorse Must say your logic that Bolton wont want to progress to the group stage simply baffles me. Apart from the money it generates, Bolton a a club their image will be enhanced by a run in Europe. Anelka will love playing in Europe as will the other players and fans. As for your Everton tip, the first leg ended 1-1 so Metalist cannot afford to lose by one goal and still progress.
