Carl
Re: Fakenham 04/12 Horse: TWIST MAGIC Course: Fakenham Time: 1.20 Chasing debutant from the in form Nicholls yard but up against Altay and Royal Shakespeare. Will be priced accordingly(about 5/2) but chance is taken with Ruby on board and that all important weight allowance for 4yo that Fair Along had to see off MyWayDeSolzen. mowgli77
Re: Fakenham 04/12 Noble Raider 3.20 Fakenham EW Expected SP of 8-1, only concern with that is any non runners would bring the price down and unlikely to get 8-1 SP. Won LTO over 2m in novice company, was 4th jumping the last but did all it's best work at the end of the race. I think step up in trip should suit. Carries top weight, but importantly, now knows how to get it's head in front and win. Obvious danger is Bouncy Castle but it's making it's hurdling debut today, could be anything. WorkingForTheEnemy
Re: Fakenham 04/12 Two e/w fancies. Maximax 12.50 Fakenham - RPF:11/1 Won its last race on the flat over 12f. Was disputing 2nd place when falling at the last on his hurdle debut. That was Class 3, now in a Class 2. Second one, Noble Raider 3.20 Fakenham RPF:8/1 As mentioned by Mowgli77, won lto over 2m. Came with a strong late run suggesting he'll get this further trip. The two market favourites have good NHF form but are debuting over hurdles so are unknown quantities. bowles10
Re: Fakenham 04/12 1.20 Royal Shakespeare looks thrown in on hurdles form but doesnt like cut in the ground, has not won on this ground since 2004 & if the rain comes, it will soften up. would not back it with stolen money at odds on Altay will hack round but I agree Nicholls horse Twist Magic could be the value in receipt of the weight. BillyHills
Re: Fakenham 04/12 Copied from EW thread; Only 1 race suitable for me as i dont bet on the AW, the last at Fakenham looks interesting and the one i like is the improving Noble Raider. Didnt fair too bad in bumpers then Timmy Murphy gave him a Timmy Murphy ride first time out over hurdles, raced wide, not put under pressure, finished midfield. Next time up won from way back and the only problem he carries a penalty which may prevent him from winning. At 8/1 i fancy a place though at least. __________________

Woodie
Re: Fakenham 04/12 3.20 Beuchamp Star must be mad backing this one again, have backed her on all 4 starts this year and I know she will win a race someday! Will be having a saver on the place. She's improved her jumping and now finally steped up in trip could this be the day? 9/2 betfair
Mighty Magyar
Re: Fakenham 04/12 2.20 Le Seychellois - has had its fair share of injuries and undergone a breathing operation in summer. I trust trainer to have him ready today.May well be best caught first time out . 3.20 The Hero Sullivan E.W @100/1 may well be wide of the mark, but this horse ran and jumped well for a long way on its debut over hurdles. In a race that isn't the greatest maybe he can run well.
Cosmetic Bob
Re: Fakenham 04/12 1.50 BEYONDTHEREALM E/W Providing all 8 race, e/w places are 1/2/3 here. Ran well last time when 3rd in class 3 handicap hurdle at Kempton, today is class 4 handicap hurdle so he is capable of running well and at least he is a horse in this field capable of improving. The favourite Allaboveboard struggles in handicaps and McCoys horse has got no where near winning over hurdles yet. Chaninbar also will take plenty of beating in the first race as well, a nice 2nd on hurdles debut and should improve @ 1/2 currently. sensibleboy
Re: Fakenham 04/12 SportHorse Racing Event1.50 Fakenham SelectionNew Perk (to place) Strength10/10 Date04/12/2006 Bookmaker/Price>Betfair @ 2.50 (Back) ReasoningIs as game as they come and a course specialist round here. Won 5 on the bounce last season and after 2 recent spins he should be fully fit and ready to strike off a 3lb lower mark today. This is a very weak race and this ultra game little gelding will go for home a fair way out and he is not a easy horse to pass once he is in front. Avalon is talented but quirky and finds little off the bridle, he is not guaranteed to get this trip whereas Allaboveboard doesnt have the same form outside claiming company. With 8 runners and 3 places on offer, 6/4 for New Perk to place is super value.
RussP
Re: Fakenham 04/12 1.50 BEYONDTHEREALM (2.18 to place, 7.4 to win) Top jock on board, should come on for 1st run this season. Avalon (poor price due to trainer / jock) and Allaboveaboard (too high in weights) are well worth opposing. The main danger IMO will come from Couer D'Alene.:ok

Good work Carl :ok Just popped in for a look cos i used to bet on the horses a bit, that was until i ran out of money doing it :dude I used to enjoy it tho and I bet on Centrebet over here in Aussie land and I just noticed they have UK racing to bet on so I checked how twist Magic went and it got up. So I may have to pay more attention to the ATR thread to find the odd winner and have a bet on the thorougbreds at all hours of the night. Some great work being done in the ATR threads so cheers :cheers
