Re: Collared Tshirts - One for Paul Ross / GAF

I think this is an excellent idea and i would pay extra for embroidered ones rather than printed. My work shirts and polo's on the front have my company name and pic on one side and The Famous Grouse + pic on other and on the back just below collar the words The Famous Grouse all embroidered in red and white on black shirts. We could have PuntersLounge logo on one side with our PL username on the opposite side and on the back PL CHAAAAAAARGE :D Also for colours the girlies might like a hot pink one :lol (maybe some boys too):tongue2 Edit: Messing about on paint :D punterslungepinktw4.jpg punterslungepink1uw3.jpg Unfortunately you cant make out the logo at the top of PL Chaaaaaaaarge, It was meant to be : 72offsuitev4.jpg :rollin
Nice one :ok Do they come with room for a clevage too??????? as in ... NOT a polo shirt???

In terms of the quality issues of the embroidery (need a spell checker) I spoke to this company because we use them for work shirts. The polo shirts I wear for work and been worn weekly for the last 4 years and still look good and the embroidery still looks new.
Excellent, you can't have a better referal than that:ok

Re: Collared Tshirts - One for Paul Ross / GAF OK - I've been told I should receive a material sample with logo and PL name on it in the post tomorrow. If anyone lives close to Preston and is going down to the Birmingham Casino - I'm happy to try and pass this on so that eveyone can get a look at it. I know Valiant has said he might be up this way. If not then I'm actually driving from Preston to Kent (Ashford) on Friday evening - anyone going to Birmingham that lives close to the M6?

Re: Collared Tshirts - One for Paul Ross / GAF excellent work DaftP, I'm pretty sure tht the minimum order would be met ( I'd want at least one each for me and Lou) I'm from near Preston - 20 miles North - by the way but unfortunatley live miles away now

Re: Collared Tshirts - One for Paul Ross / GAF Got some artwork back from the printers. The first image shows the logo in various colours dependant upon the background colour of the shirt so you can get a good idea on how it will look. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us The second shows a sample on an off cut with the username on it (mistakenly used my poker name rather than my PL name). This is printed not embroided, and whilst the qualit is good I'm still of a mind to go for the embroided version despite the conversation I had with the printer (see earlier post) Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Edit - made images smaller.

I still reckon we could lose the "Worlds Best Betting Forum" from beneath the logo. I think Dave thinks the same' date=' anybody else?[/quote'] I agree with the big man, it's far too busy with the world's best stuff on it.

Re: Collared Tshirts - One for Paul Ross / GAF I would vote for just: The Punters Lounge JarjarUK and The Punters Lounge Danarama on the shirts myself, otherwise I think there would be too many "the's" in the title. I'm still in favour of embroidered myself. I think we'll go for dark blue shirts with the white logo and our PL names on them. Once again, thanks for sorting all of this out DaftP, its sooooo kind of you mate. :ok

Re: Collared Tshirts - One for Paul Ross / GAF

I think it really needs to say PuntersLounge.com - the .com bit is sooooo important imo.
I think you might be detracting from the point a bit Paul. As best I can understand the desire for shirts is born out of a need to identify each other at live events. By having the web address instead of the logo we would simply be walking billboards, which while I can understand you desire for that to happen, would detract from the original point....

Not really Dave, we could have the punters lounge logo/name on the front with our username under/alongside and on the back, we could have www.punterslounge.com? surely that would satisfy everyones needs and still make the T-Shirts classy?

Sorry boss, but at a risk of getting laughed at by MCFC (yet again :tongue2), I'm planning on wearing mine at next years WSoP, and I can't if its got ".com" in its logo. Apparently its against the rules. :ok

:rollin:rollin:rollin The cost to have the web address on the sleeve is an extra £2.75 If it can be incorportated into the logo area then this price will come down as it's less to set up. I'm away for the weekend. On Monday I'll attempt to go through the thread from the beginning and set up a table with names, numbers colours, sizes, etc and hopefully we'll reach an agreement on the final design. Enjoy Birmingham - wish i was going :cheers

Re: Collared Tshirts - One for Paul Ross / GAF Thanks so much for doing this DaftP, it's very much appreciated. I'm happy to go with what the majority want really. I would like 2 x polo shirts x large. names: JarjarUK - blue shirt Danarama - white shirt Don't mind about how its displayed etc. I'll leave that up to you as you've put in so much hard work. As I said, I'm happy to go with what's most popular/easier for you. Not worried about whether it costs £2 more for this or that, it's all cool. Thanks again :notworthy :notworthy
