The Great PL Purge

Hello all,

One thing that has always annoyed me at PL is the massive database of spam/ai accounts that haunt us with 0 posts spanning multiple years, going back as far as 2008.

With a great sense of pleasure, I will be deleting these accounts, this afternoon at 1 pm. I've sent a message to the 75k+ members to let them know, but I doubt anybody from that list will be reading this.

Once we have purged these numbers down it will improve speed for the real members of PL and it will also help us with our endeavour to offer you guys a PL Newsletter (and not be blacklisted for sending out 116k emails)
