Didnt see Masafi but Darrias the winner is well respected so perhaps experience was the key? Tomorrow sees a great book of rides at Market rasen for Graham, so i'll be back on tomorrow. Didnt see Masafi but Darrias the winner is well respected so perhaps experience was the key? Yes mate I watched the race, he doesnt look like he is going to make a classy hurdler as Darrias giving him 8lbs and still won quite easily by five lengths. I dont think it was experience that cost him the race as he jumped alright, its just Darrias is simply a better horse over hurdles. However Backbeat made two mistakes, the one you mentioned and at the open ditch in front the stands 1st time, still a bit novicey but look set to make a decent staying handicapper this season.
