It's been a bit of a chaotic start to the season with no side managing to build up a run of wins. Monaco top the table with 11 points from their first 5 league matches and they are free-scoring averaging 3 goals per game. They are closely followed by Brest, Marseille, and Nice. They're going to be playing for their survival now. Every point will be important, but be careful, because other legendary French clubs have ended up in the second division.
