You won’t get to heaven backing odds on shots but…..
Sha tin

We are hero
Win
Is the proverbial group horse in a handicap.
He is unbeaten under Hugh Bowman 3/3 and has won with some authority at the minimum trip.
Looks to have lots under the tank and is very talented. Lost in the second of his last four runs under silvestre de Souza after meeting trouble in running at the start before being trapped in a pocket for the last furlong and was pulling like a train to go down by a shd and two necks and would have won in another two strides. He won’t be ridden by anyone else than Bowman now and order was restored with two more emphatic wins by big margins subsequently.
Drawn in stall 11 should give him the freedom to be dropped out to attempt to find a clear run from a furlong out and if unhampered looks hard to beat.

The  horse I'd have to add to the shortlist is one I've already highlighted before,

Atomic Force

each way

The french group two winner who beat Black lives matter by five lengths over a sharp six furlongs. Previously a soft ground maiden winner for Kevin Ryan at Mussleburgh. He's had his breakthrough win on the island a month ago and hasn't been seen since he'd have to go some to win here but under our own Harry Bentley may give the selection most to do.

As Bon Scott says

"Hell ain't a bad place to be."

*Did it really well and the 85 rating looks very conservative and unlikely to be seen in this grade again for a very long time. I'd say 99 would be fair.

8.35

Always fluke is stepping up to six furlongs after an eye catching run on debut when running into the front six very late on in the race won last month by atomic force.

Always fluke each way 8.35 Sha Tin.

Just a couple of quirk bets today .

235 Fairyhouse - LOT OF JOY 16/1 eway bet365 ( 4 places ) Nico De Boinville rides this one for W.Mullins. 🤔👎a W.Mullins 80/1 shot bagged the runners up spot & it seemed other than Dinoblue a lot of Mullins 3rd & 4th string were winners & favs 2nd or 3rd .

415 Plumpton - EFFERNOCK FIZZ 12/1 eway sky ( 4 places ) 👎 well down the field with local trainer & in form G.Moore having a field day in Sussex .

travels from Ireland , last seen in Grade 1 Arkle now in class 2 in Sussex 🤔

Some quality French racing today but you just can't trust the going reports , it'll most probably be down as soft & then be good to firm by the off ☹️

One more from sha tin

9.40

California spangle

Win

Very hard to oppose and priced accordingly.

Probably the number two horse in the country after golden sixty.

Another winner if you were quick enough to catch that one!

10.15 SHA TIN

Fiach McHugh and magnanimous

Lock horns now

Both Irish winners for Joseph O’Brien and Ger lyons

They are now known in Hong Kong as

Circuit stellar

Each way

Red Lion

Win

Circuit stellar is on a hat trick but has to defy top weight and a half stone rise.

Matt Chadwick swops saddles with Zac Purton who rides red Lion. It is subjective as to which of these is the better jockey. Zac Purton has the best rides. Matt Chadwick rides them in at bigger prices.

Fairyhouse 2.35

Princess Zoe

Win

Ebha Grace

Each way

Princess Zoe has little to no experience but has the class and it showed at Cheltenham where but for an error at the last she may have grabbed second.

Willie Mullins runs eight and Ashroe Diamond on jockey bookings is first choice but Ebha grace holds place claims.
