Anthony Honeyball looks to have a decent prospect in Firestream, had some decent bumper form before being upped to 20 furlongs for his hurdle debut when he won as easily as can be, wont have it all his own way as Nicky Hendserson runs three all with chances as you would expect for someone whos last 9 runners have given him five winners at this course, they will have to be good to beat Firestream, 3.05 taken................caught late on but traded below 1.35 in running.

 

Colonial Empire in the 3.40 is just a five year ld so perhaps more improvement to come, he won nicely in a small field encounter last time and gets just a four pound rise in the weights for his efforts so should go well again today albeit in a much larger field of runners. I've an average of 3.96 for this one.............................had my odds reduced to 3.51 because of the non runners, no worries as he won nicely. ?

As always a lay off price in running will be placed.
