Are you confident about his choice today?  This puts me off

I don't tend to look that closely given the tiny stakes I'm allowed on and the generally positive returns. 3.5 does strike me as a low line to try and limbo under but if Kev says the price looks bigger than it should be I'm not going to second guess him.

I stuck a small bet on too, hopefully it will come in. I was just curious as to your thoughts on it, and I see the odds are now 1.80 so I'm glad I got on at 2.0.

Not entirely sure what's going on but there have either been no tips for the past few weeks or they're only appearing in the paper rather than online. There have still been 2 columns (one on a Friday and one on a Saturday, appearing online the night before) but they've both just been "opinion" columns rather than the Friday one usually being a "tipping" column.

There have been a couple of occasions where the headline has referred to "free football tips, analysis and philosophy" but there's been no sign of any actual tips that I could see.

Kev’s article today (thoughts on the FA Cup final, no bet) conclude with the following:
“This is the last piece I will write for the Racing Post. If you were kind enough to read any or even many of the others, thank you. After all these years I can find words for most things, but not for how much I will miss writing for you.”

So I guess that’s it for this thread! I’ll wrap it up at some point.

13 wins, 2 pushes and 10 losses for +1.5 points with an ROI of 6%.

So that was how we finished this season.

My conspiracy theory is he’s decided to hang up his boots this season and make sure he goes out with his unblemished record in tact.

This may not be a million miles wide of the mark.

Final numbers going back 10 seasons (7 with returns to advised stakes as well as level; this season was entirely 1 point stakes so no difference between the two). It's been a blast!

Is he sending out tips this season @harry_rag ??

I'm assuming he's retired or at least resting, no evidence of him having moved on to pastures new since leaving the RP.
